I will strive beyond this cursed bloodline!

Chapter 55: The asshole's wedding gift

Planning for the invitations done, dress choice done, Elizabeth didn't really have much to do after that. Besides the most obvious parts, the venue and invitations were done; there was no issue date-wise since Elizabeth owned the whole thing.

Besides, no one would use the island at point Merlin (The place that Jenna had set up for the island), Elizabeth could check on the food for the venue, but she had planned to use her Minions for that, that is to say.

She sent a contingent of Shadow Dragons (Scouts, Rangers, Knights and a few from the civilian side) to get the materials to feed the people that was to come.

Mostly she sent them to hunt big game from some of the jungles from Zaanam, far away from civilization. They would store it within the Shadow Spire, the thing had refrigerated sections (Because of course it had).

So food was set up, the service for waitress would be left to minion work too.

The music and photography side was going to be left to Aura since the girl had experience as a professional voyeur, so she knew how to record and set up the mood well enough.

Decoration wise? The Valkyrie order had taken that mantle under their wing, so Elizabeth had not much to deal with.

As for who was going to officiate the thing...

Well, Elizabeth still had some doubts on if they could find someone, if everything went well with [The Prophet] they could use that woman. Elizabeth didn't want to, since she didn't want to be friends with the Italians if possible at all.

But she didn't really had many options, she didn't want to force Mother or Papa to descend to do that, if they descended she would have rather have them as guests of honor than as the one actually marrying her.

So her second guess was...another minion? She...didn't really had one good enough for that, the more sapient or sentient ones were busy.

She would not be married off by Aura, that felt...wrong.

That left Sana, Iroha and Mira. If Elizabeth was to leave it to one of those it would probably be Iroha, but that was still to be decided, perhaps Rossie or Rena could chime up on this? Yeah, Elizabeth would ask them.

As for Coordinator or planner? Well, Elizabeth would leave it to Mordred to manage the other minions.

Besides the wedding itself all that was left was the bachelorette party....Yeah no, Elizabeth wasn't that big of a fan of those, and more often than not these got set up by your friend group...

And in Elizabeth's case....well, most of her old 'Friends' had forgotten her, and while she could rekindle those memories, the friends she made before going to the MPI...

Most of those were what you could call normal people, she didn't make that many friends within the MPI and honestly. All of those that she could invite there or call from there would not survive if any scuffle were to be made.

This, too, would be left up to Rossie and Rena to decide; she wouldn't mind going to a party with them, but going a party without them? Yeah, she did not have that many people to enjoy time with.

Perhaps Jenna? But the older girl...was not that sociable, and if she was to be believed, her friend list was probably worse than Elizabeth's own.

So what? Rehearsal?

Elizabeth....should probably talk about that with Rossie too...Actually.

"I'll do just that." Elizabeth said nodding, she had left the other two girls for almost half a day by now. Surely they wouldn't mind.

"I'll go with Rossie and Rena, can you take care of this?" Elizabeth said turning to Jenna who was busy dealing with the envelopes, "Or do you want me to summon some of the civilian side Shadow Dragons?"

"...Civilian side?" Jenna asked confused, "You...have a whole line of Civilian minions?"

"Not all of those that reside within the Shadow Haven were of the martial inclination, some enjoyed doing more normal things." Elizabeth said, shrugging, "So yeah, while most don't remember what they did, some instincts are alive, and the minions know what they want to do."

"...Well if you can spare them I will take them." Jenna said, shrugging at Elizabeth's request, so Elizabeth did that.

She pulled at the shadows and called up around five Shadow Civilian Workers.

They showed up, vague silhouettes of small human beings, roughly the same size as the valkyries but more androgynous as if they weren't quite sure what to be.

"At least they will not look like Shadow Dragon Secretaries, that would have been odd." Jenna said nodding at the five shadow figures, "You know how to prepare these, I assume?"

"..." The shadow figures nodded and one of them moved forward extending both hands.

Jenna looked at Elizabeth, who merely nodded, then the creature got the letter and one envelope; skilfully, they folded the letter and set it within the envelope.

Then it gave it to the next minion, who, with a wisp of their own shadows seal,ed the envelope shut, and it was done.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

The figure then gave it to the next online, who, summoning a shadowy pen, started scribbling on the envelope, neither Jenna nor Elizabeth did anything to stop them, mostly because they wanted to see what they were doing.

The figure finished writing on it and gave it to the next on the line, who at some point had requisitioned the full list that Jenna had prepared, comparing what was scribbled on the envelope, they nodded and scribbled something on the list, giving it to the last minion on the line who with great care put the folder in a box that had gotten here at some point.

"Well, we have a whole production line then." Jenna said as the first minion on the line extended their hands forward as if waiting for more letters, "You can leave it to us, if I only need to prepare the seal on the letters and envelope, and your minions can deal with everything else, then this should move faster."

"Trust the shadow minions," Elizabeth said, nodding as if she knew this would happen, "Then I'll be with Rossie and Rena."

And with that done Elizabeth moved back to the room with her girlfriends, neither girl seemed to have moved away, and a quick check gave Elizabeth a very interesting tidbit of data.

Unlike how it was before, Elizabeth couldn't detect ruffled clothing or any evidence of either girl having dressed in a rush.

Before, Elizabeth usually found at least one of the girls with their clothes either put wrong, or ruffled here and there, it was kind of cute. But they didn't this time.

"Is it a bad time now?" Elizabeth asked as she walked back into the room that Rossie and Rena had moved in, after coming to Terra Nexus and back to Zaanam they had ended within Elizabeth's training room, it wasn't that bad all thing considered, but it was....not optimal for their own training.

"Yeah, everything is fine Eli-Eli," Rossie said nodding at the blonde, "We were talking about the wedding actually, we need to ask you a few things."

"Oh?" Elizabeth said surprised, honestly, she had thought the wedding would be more of a her thing, not that Rossie or Rena didn't seem hyped for it, but honestly, the whole thing was mostly for Elizabeth.

Or so Elizabeth thought anyway.

"We need to plan the venue..." Rossie started speaking, only for Elizabeth to raise a hand.

"I got it covered, I have a nice cathedral ready, Jenna actually just got us a nice plot of land to set it up." Elizabeth said smiling at Rossie.

"....I was going to suggest that we get Father to reserve a small church....How did you get a Cathedral open?" Rossie asked surprised.

"Well, it's mine, or well, it's what used to be my Soulscape before [Advent] ripped open my true Soulscape." Elizabeth said, shrugging, "I just found it lying on the North Pole of Terra Nexus, and it's nice. Want to see it?"

"....*Sigh* No, that's fine. I do think a Cathedral would be what suits you the most, but....will it not be too empty?" Rossie asked worried, "I can fill quite the number of seats with my family and some friends of the family, but even so there will be quite..."

"Oh that, Jenna is dealing with the invites, she is inviting anyone that is relevant to us. My parents or people who could help us, she seems to be using in secret one of her Echoes." Elizabeth answered with a shrug, she had seen an echo that looked quite...Machiavelli, at the back, whispering to Jenna, "I have a couple minions helping her with the invites. She said that the Cathedral will not feel empty."

"....Well you seem to have everything so far going on, what about my invites? Or Ren-Ren?" Rossie asked mildly miffed.

"You can pass on the invites to Jenna or the minions, I have reserved enough spots, and if needed we can kick people from the list that Jenna made. Not like all will come, Jenna will return their memories of me to them, so perhaps they may not want to come, since they will know who my parents are." Elizabeth said, shrugging, "I don't really need the invites or anything. I want to make the day perfect for you two, so I went all on it."

"...Food?" Rossie asked, "Usually, that is quite the issue, I had planned for around a hundred people, and I was having trouble with the logistics of the food distribution, I assume the list will be longer?"

"A couple thousand probably," Elizabeth said nodding, "Jenna said that she can deal with most of the invites and security, but we will have minions at hand and a couple security guards too, but I have already sent a few minion groups to hunt for the food. We will have to cook it, but we aren't in need of cooks, chefs or civilian workers thanks to the Shadow Dragons who picked a more civilian role."

Really, they would be the MVP of all of this; without that many civilian minions, Elizabeth would have been in quite a pickle; who would have thought that having civilian-type minions would be this useful?

Truly, logistics were the endgame all along.

"The clothes?" Rossie asked lastly, "We were picking our dresses, or was that not needed either?"

...Oh right...this wasn't only Elizabeth's wedding....

"Of course that is important, I will not take that from you. Just tell me where you want to go buy them and I'll set up the teleportation, Sana is setting up a teleportation network all over the world for people to come, we can tap into it and go wherever you need to go." Elizabeth said, snapping her fingers, and from ripples in space, a small space fox materialized. The little cub yipped a few times, and a teleportation circle manifested.

Weirdly enough the design was not like how Elizabeth's used them, this mandala had more references to the moon than usual. The runes and the style resembled a full moon even.

"...And the money to buy these very expensive designer dresses?" Rossie said, smiling smugly at Elizabeth.

Of the three girls, Rossie was the one with more money after all.

"Easy," Elizabeth said, raising her hand and teleporting a credit card there, then another. "We can either use Jenna's card, or the Saintsworths golden card."

"....The what now?" Rossie asked confused.

"Among the inheritance I got from Alexanders(The asshole) was the interesting tidbit of data about their software infrastructure, the one that now is used everywhere within Zaanam." Elizabeth said, smiling evilly, "The asshole left a backdoor into the payment system, it detects very specific credit card data as if it has funds, and then it deducts it from a bank account that gets the money from siphoning a few cents from all the banking users in the world."

"....So this bank account...takes a few cents from...?" Rena said confused, "Who?"

"Everyone." Elizabeth answered, "Anyone that has a bank account gives them a few cents every two or three months, but if you take into account all of Zaanam...and how long this has been going..."

".....you are rich, richer than anyone else on the planet?" Rossie asked surprised, "I thought..."

"Oh no, I am as poor as you can get, if we use this it will get patched in a few weeks after the fact, they will not trace it to us, but the money will be out of reach." Elizabeth said shaking her head, "I can't take the money out either, at best we can use it a day or two as a way to burn money...It will not let us invest or buy real estate either, neither casinos nor stocks; at best, we can buy clothes, games, furniture, and whatnot. Or in this case..."

"Our wedding dresses." Rossie said nodding, "I see..."

"You can see it as the asshole's way of giving us our wedding gift," Elizabeth said, nodding, "At least one good thing he did."

"But...isn't it wrong?" Rena asked confused, "We are using stolen money."

"Indeed we are, that is quite the [Villanous] thing to do," Elizabeth said nodding, "But...and listen me on this...Don't you want a very cute and nice dress? We can buy it with this...using the ill-gotten money from the assholes, or we can have Rossie pay it for us. Would you want Rossie to use her money? I don't think she will mind."

"....We can use the asshole's money." Rena said, nodding in understanding, "Rossy's money is better spent on Rossie."

"I wouldn't mind paying it...Granted, using the infinity money glitch we can get a way better dress, with [Skill] and [Spell] enhanced cloth..." Rossie said as if she was struggling with something, "Fine, you are lucky you are this adorable when you take things seriously."

"I love you too Rossie," Elizabeth said blowing a kiss toward the pink girl, "So I came to ask a few things."

"What is it? It looked like you have most of this dealt with, all while we were looking at dress designs even." Rossie said shaking her head.

"Well, for one...I came to tell you to send your invitation list to the shadow dragons..." Elizabeth said, summoning a new civilian shadow dragon and pointing Rossie to it, "...and second..."

Rossie nodded at the first and quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper that she gave to the shadow dragon; the girl had weaved a spell that started to write names on the piece of paper quite quickly.

"Second?" Rossie said as she nodded to the shadow civilian as they went to work with the other shadow civilians.

"Well.....do you know someone who can officiate the wedding?" Elizabeth asked with a sigh, "All the minions I can think off or the people aren't really..."

"Good picks?" Rossie asked laughing, "Of course they wouldn't...I assume your parents aren't an option?"

"Not unless you want to risk Mother kissing the bridesmaid or any cute girl around. I think she would contain herself, but I wouldn't risk it. Also...I don't want them to waste [Prana] unless it's important." Elizabeth said in a sadder tone, "I would love to have them around, but...I don't want to impose...not after all they have done for me already. I don't mind doing another wedding for them when we can go to them."

"...Eli-Eli..." Rossie said shaking her head, "I am sure this is important for them, but...let's respect their choice on the matter okay?"

"...Okay..." Elizabeth said, nodding; she still would do her best to ensure that they didn't descend...

"As for who...I have a few people in mind, but it will depend on how much do you mind who does it...Worst case scenario, we can have my Mother do it." Rossie said, sighing, "If not...well...I know a few members of the clergy who are...more open-minded."

"....You have dirt on them." Elizabeth said without an ounce of doubt.

"I have dirt on them, but they will do their work." Rossie said, nodding, "For now, let's check on where we will get our dresses."

And that they would do, Rossie would be the most adorable pink-haired wife ever, and Rena...well, if Elizabeth could get away with it, she would be the most sexy smoking hot wife of all Zaanam.

And Elizabeth was willing to die, revive and destroy anyone who doubted her hill on the matter.
