I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 369: A Talk over the Phone?

"I'm sorry too. I should've at least made an attempt to call you yesterday, but I just thought you would've been too busy to spare me some time." Lillian then gave a loving smile, "The next time we meet, I'll make sure to show you a lot of love as compensation, how about that?"

Hearing Lillian's words, Marionette drifted her eyes back to Lillian's face, settling her gaze on the girl. The Assassin hugged the rabbit closer to her body, hiding her face even more as she murmured in an adorably small voice:

"... Promise?"

Lillian's heart rate couldn't help but spike up as she heard this. She felt her blood bubble and her chest flutter at how adorable her girlfriend was—to the point where a silly grin stretched across her face.

Marionette, who had pulled her face out of the back of the rabbit's head, rested her chin on top of her plushy. Marionette gazed at Lillian with an odd and deadpan look.

She wondered about the reason for the girl's strange expression.

After a second, Lillian nodded vigorously and promised to do what she had just said. This act caused Marionette to wear a small but satisfied smile.

The two conversed for an hour or two, something that the couple had wanted to do since they were separated. This fact was most evident inside Marionette, who couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy towards Viesta, who hadn't yet returned to the hotel.

Although it was different to how they interacted with each other, compared to how they did in the past, the two ultimately adapted.

Soon enough, the two eventually ended the call, but before that...

"Just so we're clear, Lillian... I'll still make sure a punishment is in place for your transgression."

Lillian's face immediately contorted as she heard that. How was this fair!?

"Pfft..."

At the sight of Lillian's expression, Marionette couldn't help but let out a soft giggle—her previously spoiled mood already gone and replaced with a positive one.

"Don't worry, Lillian... I'll be sure to be gentle, I promise."

"E-eh...?"

Lillian's eyes shook for a moment. Her cheeks then puffed out into a pout at her current predicament, "F-fine... Well, then, I'll be going now."

Lillian waved at the Assassin and whispered, "I love you, Marionette! I'll be sure to give you a ring tomorrow."

"Hm? Are you proposing?" Marionette gave Lillian a playful smirk. Playing one of her rare jokes on the rabbit, she blinked seductively at the girl, who blushed furiously.

"H-huh? N-no, that wasn't what I—"

Seeing Lillian stumbling over her words, Marionette's smile broadened as she chimed in and nodded back, "Alright, I'm just joking. Get some rest and make sure to be prepared for tomorrow. From what I hear, you will most likely need to use that odachi of yours."

Click.

After saying that, the Assassin hung up the call, leaving Lillian by herself with silence as she pondered the woman's suggestion. Would her odachi be able to cut through the Alpha's tough outershell?

'I really should prepare... I wonder how I am going to resharpen my skills until then...'

Lillian looked back towards her phone and realised the call had ended.

"Huh? Wait! She didn't say 'I love you' back!"

But right as Lillian said that, her phone vibrated again. Seeing that it was a call from Marionette, Lillian raised an eyebrow and picked up the phone.

Placing the speaker to her ear, she waited and listened as the Assassin's voice resounded into her ear. However, she couldn't help but notice how sultry it sounded.

"I love you too~..."

Click.

Hearing the call end, Lillian dramatically shot off her bed and crashed into the ground—a silly smile plastering across her face as she giggled, "Hehe..."

Lillian, although shocked by the Assassin's seductive tone, couldn't help but fall in love even more.

Lillian was, after all, still a massive fan, even if she was no longer in her old world.

As Lillian giggled and rolled on the ground, she caught the silhouette of someone sitting on Viesta's bed.

Lillian blinked and immediately went on guard. Slowly pushing herself away from the bed, Lillian quietly stood. But what she found surprised her.

Sitting quietly on Viesta's bed was the woman herself. And she currently had her eyes closed and looked as though she was in some sort of deep sleep.

'How long was she here for? And when did she even get here?'

Had Lillian been so focused on Marionette that she couldn't even detect Viesta entering the room?

'Heh, no one can blame me for that.' Lillian smirked to herself before shaking her head and moving closer to Viesta.

Lillian placed a hand on the Viesta's shoulder, and after a shake or two, the woman opened one eye and glanced around.

Seeing Lillian, Viesta smiled, "Oh? Howdy there, partner. You finished your chat with your girlfriend, I see~... I must say, you two are quite the lovebirds—"

"D-did you eavesdrop on our entire conversation?!" Lillian immediately became embarrassed.

Viesta smirked, "And if I did?"

Lillian's face couldn't help but redden completely, even reaching an entirely new shade of vibrant red. How could she respond to this question!?

Viesta keenly spectated Lillian's expression and couldn't help but snort in amusement, "You sure do blush quite easily, huh, parter? Or is that because we are talking about your girlfriend—"

"A-alright!"

Viesta grinned at the flustered Rabbit before waving her hand in a joking manner, "Don't worry... After getting onto my bed, I didn't hear anything after that. I think that was around an hour ago."

"I-I see... So, could I guess that you weren't able to get your weapon made today?"

Viesta's eyes widened in bafflement at Lillian's prediction, "Well, I'll be... How'd you know?"

Lillian smirked and shrugged, "Just a hunch really... You wanna talk about it?" Lillian sat on the Viesta's bed, watching as the woman scratched the back of her scalp with an annoyed look.

"Yeah, I'm down for that. Could you believe the person needed for enchanting my thing wasn't..."
