Chapter 64: Give Them Some Trouble
Chapter 64: Give Them Some Trouble
Germa Kingdom
Germa Kingdom, the only country in the world without fixed territory, appears unpredictably. They rely on advanced technology, fearless armies, and the prince and princesses of the Vinsmoke Family to form the formidable Germa 66 that terrifies the world.
As a technologically advanced country for generations, Germa's technology surpasses most of the world's countries and even leads in some aspects. They exist as mercenaries, roaming the world, acting as hounds to tear apart enemies for their employers at the fastest speed.
The ruling family of Germa Kingdom, the Vinsmoke Family, once conquered the entire North Blue through force, indicating the country's past glory.
However, that glory has faded away now. The current head of the Vinsmoke Family, the leader of Germa 66, Vinsmoke Judge, is willing to use scientific means to modify his children to give them immense power while sacrificing their emotions, turning them into obedient fighting machines.
Germa Kingdom is composed of several colossal snails carrying their territories, floating on the sea, able to split and combine freely for convenient and swift movement and combat.
These snails can cross the Red Line without going over Reverse Mountain or through the Calm Belt, greatly reducing travel time, making it an efficient mode of transportation.
In the Palace's conference room
A statue of a giant eagle spreads its wings high above, with the number "66" engraved on it, symbolizing Germa 66.
Underneath the giant eagle is a luxurious throne, where a tall man with a metal helmet, golden long hair, and a laughable pointed beard sits.
Vinsmoke Judge, the father of Reiju and others, a selfish and hypocritical man.
Bang!
He slammed his fist on the table in front of him, shattering it, and angrily said, "That damn bastard! He thinks becoming a Shichibukai makes him invincible? Huh?! I'll make sure to kill him! He's just a lapdog of the World Government! As one of the World Government's affiliate nations, killing a Shichibukai is no big deal!"
Although Germa Kingdom has no territory, it can participate in the World Government's meetings and holds some influence with the Marines. Otherwise, Sanji's bounty would not only be "only alive" but "dead or alive" instead!
He shifted his gaze to the two figures below—his dear sons, Ichiji and Niji. "So, Ichiji, Niji, go to the Grand Line and teach that arrogant Rodney a lesson. Let him know that being a Shichibukai doesn't grant him absolute power!"
"Understood, father!"
Ichiji spoke in a silly, childlike voice, but he was the eldest among the four brothers. Compared to the arrogant and proud Niji and the impulsive Yonji, he was calmer and more cautious, making him more suitable to lead Germa 66.
"Alright, I'll make sure that guy dies by my hands. Let him witness the power of Germa!"
Niji sneered with his blue hair and special abilities gained from scientific modifications, different from Devil Fruits, without the weaknesses against Seastone or seawater.
"Speaking of which, Yonji and Reiju are useless, being defeated by that guy." Niji sneered.
"You shouldn't say that. Rodney defeated Kurokodairu, captured Reiju and Yonji. He's not an ordinary opponent. Niji, don't underestimate him," Ichiji said.
"Haha, Ichiji, you're too cautious. As long as we work together, not many can be our opponents. Reiju and Yonji are just weaklings. We are perfect."
Ichiji frowned at his younger brother's words but didn't argue.
On the throne, Judge stood up proudly and said, "Go, my proud sons, use your strength to crush that guy's arrogance. Let him understand that Germa's dignity cannot be insulted and show them our power!"
This guy never changes; he's still planning to force Rodney to submit through violence.
"Yes, father!"
"Understood, father!"
...
The sea breeze blew gently. Thanks to the snails, Rodney and Robin didn't have to worry about weather affecting navigation and had some leisure time.
Robin could sit on a chair and read books, while Rodney started to spar with Yonji.
Yes, Yonji, now that he lost his combat suit's support, he's just a tough guy with strong physical abilities, no need to worry. It's an excellent opportunity for practice.
"You bastard, it's just some useless clones again! If you have the guts, fight me one on one! Watch how Yonji beats your brain out!"
Yonji with green hair couldn't land a single attack as Rodney skillfully used his Shave, Moon Walk, and Kami-e to dodge. Occasionally, he attacked back with Shigan and Rankyaku, while the other shadow clones acted as decoys.
Yes, he has mastered the Rokushiki after practicing with numerous shadow clones, using them against Yonji.
As long as they don't kill each other, it's fine.
"Mr. Rodney is really a fighting maniac," Reiju commented next to Robin.
Although her freedom was restricted, she received much better treatment than Yonji, staying in her previous room as long as she didn't poison anyone, Rodney wouldn't harm her.
She quite enjoyed her time here, feeling rare relaxation. No oppression, rather fun.
"No, the captain is just making himself stronger. He's usually lazy," Robin flipped a page and said softly, "The captain has many methods, but he said that his body is his revolution. Only with a strong body can he unleash great power. By the way, Miss Reiju, the captain knows a lot of intelligence."
Reiju thought for a moment and asked, "Including my past? Germa's secrets?"
Robin continued reading with a smile on her face, choosing not to answer.
It's the same again. Reiju looked at the intellectual beauty before her; why does she always leave her sentences half-spoken? Isn't she afraid of getting a sore tongue?
Plop!
It seemed like something fell into the water, and Reiju knew that her foolish little brother fell into the sea again.
Every time Yonji fought Rodney, he would be thrown into the sea. This time it looked like he was kicked down, and based on the power just now, he should be slightly injured. Forget it, let him climb up on his own.
Bang bang bang!
The shadow clones vanished into smoke, and Rodney gained new insights from his battles with Yonji, boosting his hand-to-hand combat abilities.
After exchanging for various ninjutsu, he still had two thousand points left. He thought for a moment and realized he needed not ninjutsu but other auxiliary jutsu or items.
Narrowing his eyes, he had a plan. It seemed like Weskey's information was still being written. After learning about Weskey's identity, Rodney used genjutsu to control him and make him write down his research results. After that, he would let Wiske go. A weakling in scientific research like him was currently useless, but it didn't mean he wouldn't be useful later.
Rodney wasn't in a hurry; he exchanged for a few items and released a small black bug from his sleeve, which flew into the castle...
Yonji climbed out of the sea, ready to trouble Rodney again, but as soon as he climbed onto the castle, he saw a shadow clone smiling at him.
At that moment, he knew that smile held no good intentions.
"You bastard, what do you want to do?"
"Nothing, just put you to sleep! Go!" Several steel wires flew towards him.
"Hmph, do you think these few wires can bind me? Don't make me laugh!" He was about to exert force to break free when a big foot appeared before his eyes.
Yonji: "F*** you~%..."
Plop!
Once again, he plunged into the sea, followed closely by several shadow clones. Yonji experienced yet another near-drowning shock.
Yonji: Can I do some earthly things?
"Hehehe, art is an explosion... hehehe!"
"Captain, your laugh is so disgusting."
"What do you know? This is called art. Robin, there was a yellow-haired guy who once said that art is a bang. I want to learn from him."
"So, Captain, what are you planning to explode?"
"Germa!"
"But their bodies and combat suits are resistant to explosions, right?"
"Hehe, even if it doesn't kill them, let's give them some trouble. I love causing trouble for enemies. When they're unhappy, I'm happy."
"Captain, not only is your personality twisted, but it's also vile."
"You say that, but I just want to celebrate a little."
