I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 546: Prince Dante

The man jumped towards the Behemoth at an accelerated speed. He didn't even need to use Hasty Aspire, but his movement was almost the same as when he used the skill.

"He's fast," the Behemoth chucked but raised his blade. He grit his teeth as he watched Elliot approach him, successfully blocking the latter's attack without breaking a single sweat. "Now that's power!"

"Destructive Cataclysm!"

The air around them got silent as the space cracked. A loud explosion was heard and was followed by several more until the invisible forcefield had shattered.

Trinidad jumped from the sky and stood between Elliot and the Behemoth. The woman raised her arms to the side, blocking Elliot from advancing further. "Stop it, boy. You are no match for this man."

Elliot followed her instructions. He lowered his blade but his guard was still up. He looked around him and realized that they were trapped in an invisible dome that mimicked the area. It wasn't until Trinidad broke the barrier that he felt the air changed.

"When did he do that?" Elliot asked. "I didn't even notice."

"A powerful forcefield that could mimic the area and mask the presence of everyone outside," Trinidad chuckled. "There can only be one person who could do such a feat. Right, Prince Dante?"

"Prince?" Elliot asked. "He's a prince?"

"He's the conceived son of the Forsaken and the powers of the Almighty," Trinidad said. "The Forsaken took one of the Archangels and used their power to suck a portion out of the Almighty's powers. He then conceived a child using the uterus of the Angel and then Dante was born."

"He's the son of the Forsaken and the Almighty?" Elliot gasped. "Then it's impossible to defeat him. How can we fight him?"

"He may have both powers, but he's not invincible," Trinidad said. "He has a giant weakness which is the combination of both white and black magic."

Elliot glanced at Lance. The man was looking at him too, the both of them already knowing what she meant. Lance was their only chance to defeat Dante now. He wields the powers of both black and white Affinities.

"It's not as easy as that, Elliot," Trinidad said, sighing. "I wish I could say anything else, but Lance isn't the one you need right now."

Elliot was confused. "He has both of the powers and Dante needed to be defeated by the holder of both Black and White Affinities, right?"

"The magic is not the affinity," Trinidad said. She opened her mouth to speak something but she stopped. She then raised her hand and conjured a shield, blocking the powerful beam of energy that Dante fired at them.

"And here I thought I could kill the treacherous old timer quickly," Dante chuckled. "You still seem to have it, old hag. You're as powerful as you were back in the day."

Trinidad stepped forward. "I was and I will always be the strongest Guard that your father had ever had. My powers never failed me."

"That's what you think," Dante grinned. His hands ignited with pure black flames while his feet was spiralling with a white light. "You have long since retired to old age, old hag. You can't defeat me right now."

"Let's see about that!" Trinidad yelled. She slammed her right feet to the ground, her body igniting with a bright orange light before a golden armor appeared on her body. She raised her hand and a golden sickle appeared, burning with the same orange light. "My powers have never wavered and it will never wield, especially to you!"

Trinidad launched herself from the ground and clashed with Dante mid air. The both of them flew back from the powerful shock that the clash created. Dante laughed as he watched Trinidad fall to the ground. "You have long since gone past your prime. Your body will never achieve such a feat ever again. You will die right here, right now."

"No, never," Trinidad growled. She jumped again and continued to clash weapons with Dante. Their powers were evenly matched and it seems that Dante was struggling too.

"Wow," Elliot gulped as he watched the right. He saw how far he was from mastering Omniscience after seeing the two perfectly utilize both Hyperia and Spatius.

Their speed was incredible and they were able to manipulate the space around them to teleport or even negate the other's attacks. It was a balanced fight and the only reason for the winner to be victorious was their goal. Whoever has the more powerful will shall be victorious.

"It's amazing," Lance said. "How could they keep up with each other's speed? It's almost impossible to see them."

"How is Hope?" Elliot asked. "I can't believe someone easily bore holes in the Supreme Dragon Emperor's scales like that. It seemed like it was too easy for Dante."

"Hope thought that his dragon form could save him, but we all know why," Lance said. "We didn't even realize that we were trapped in a forcefield before Trinidad broke it. I'm sure that Dante hid his true powers when he fought Hope."

"This is his true one, isn't it?" Elliot asked with a gulp. He feared that Trinidad might not win this round if Dante still has a trick up his sleeve.

"Did you really think you could defeat me, old hag?" Dante panted. He raised his spear and spun it. The power from the spear was forming and it was charging, Trinidad knew that. When she felt that the energy was about to burst, she distanced herself from Dante.

Trinidad took a few steps back but then she found Dante's aura behind her. This made the woman freeze on the spot. She growled before spinning and slashing her blade around her to create a spiral shield that blocked Dante's attack.

The man laughed and distanced himself too. He then shook his head and dropped his spear to the ground. "I knew something was wrong when I first saw you. Trinidad, what rituals have you done to maintain your powers?"

Trinidad was silent. She raised her sickle and smirked. "You don't have to know."

"You are the person that I admire the most," Dante said. "How could you form a pact with the Beings of the Beyond?!"

Trinidad was still silent. She now held her weapon down and sighed. When she looked up, she saw the disgust and anger in Dante's eyes.

"Show me the signs," Dante demanded. Elliot had leaned forward to see what was going to happen. It seemed like from the fight to the death, the two now are in an argument.

"What is he saying?" Elliot asked. A spherical light appeared behind him and Irus appeared from it. "What? Why are you here?"

"Just as expected," Irus shook his head. "The Prince of the Forsaken's Resistance is here fighting with the original Guard of Conquest. This must be sentimental for them."

"Resistance?" Elliot asked. "Irus, what do you mean?"

"Dante has been long since in a war with his father for the throne of the Abyss," Irus said. "When he was younger, Trinidad was his instructor. I didn't know that they were here practicing."

"Practicing?" Elliot scrunched his face up. "What?"

"I called Dante," Irus said and walked towards the two.
