I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 536: Uriel vs War

"Seven thousand years ago, Heaven waged war against all other realms," Lady Hao told Elliot. "Of course, given the fact that an Angel warrior is a combined power of at least three warriors of the other realms combined, Heaven won without breaking a single sweat."

It was because of this era that the idea that the Almighty resided above Heaven was put into place. Heaven monopolized the control of all the realms and they became the center of everything.

It all changed when a man gathered a small group of people and started revolution. He led the entire revolt and usurped Heaven by sealing the realm away from the rest of the realms.

He was successful, and for the past seven thousand years, there has been little to no signs of Heaven's contact to any realm.

Lady Hao finished. "Even Malice is afraid of Heaven. The ruler of Heaven, the King, can obliterate Hell in a single attack or so the records said."

"He's that powerful?" Elliot gulped. "Then we shouldn't let Uriel stray any longer. He will try to open another gate to Heaven."

"That's what we all think, but we know Uriel couldn't do it," Lady Hao said. "You might have changed a lot of things in the records, but you haven't changed everything, Elliot. Uriel will be killed when he approaches the Sunshine Castle. The Sunshine King is the second strongest King, second only to the Azure King who wielded the Excalibur. But even so,–"

"But Uriel is powerful, how will he be defeated?" Elliot asked. "I don't think your record knows how strong he was. We were lucky that it was a fraction of his body that was summoned. If he was fully brought down, he will also bring chaos with him."

"Who said that the Sunshine King is the one who will defeat him?" Lady Hao smirked. "Uriel brought himself down too late to consider one factor that we all know."

"And that is?" Elliot tilted his head to the side.

Lady Hao smirked. "The third Forsaken's Guard has already appeared."

In the Sunshine Palace, Uriel was running towards the throne room. He had already cleared all of the beasts outside, only leaving the King. "Where is it? I need to absorb its power and become stronger so I could contact my brothers."

He roames the halls with his poor state after fighting the Adventurers and then the beasts of the Palace. He was already weak and he knows his body will give up soon.

"If only I had all of my powers, this realm would've fallen into my hands long ago," Uriel grunted as he opened the throne room's door.

Almost immediately after the two giant metal doors opened, a breeze of blazing heat greeted Uriel. His eyes widened when he saw the head of the Sunshine King rolling on the floor

On its throne was a tall man that was familiar to him. The man was sitting with his left leg placed over his right thigh. His elbow was on the armrest while his hand was supporting his head as he leaned to one side.

"That was quite boring," the man sighed. "After taking their powers, I feel like I still need more."

"You!" Uriel growled and pointed his hand at the man. "What are you doing here?"

The man with a pair of droopy eyes looked up to see the Angel. He was unimpressed. "Uriel, what happened to you? It would seem like you have been slaughtered and then brought to life only to be slaughtered again."

"How dare a mere Demon like you insult me?!" Uriel growled. "Don't forget where you belong, lowlife."

Uriel stepped his right foot back and rolled his hands in front of him, creating a pale blue mist that spun like threads. "You don't deserve to live. Holy Threads!"

The man merely chuckled and raised his free hand to be caught by the threads. He then pulled his hand towards him, making Uriel come closer to him. The man then spun the threads around his arm so it would get shorten.

Uriel tried to pull himself out, but the man was too powerful for him. He couldn't force himself out of his grasp. Uriel even tried to cut the threads, but a thing layer of dark magic had already covered the threads and they were now unbreakable.

He continued doing it until Uriel was near him. It was then that he brought his foot down to the floor as he stood. "Uriel, the weakest Archangel has come to me and said that he will have my head."

Uriel grit his teeth, fear starting to resonate in his body. He knows what's about to happen and he was scared of it.

"The same Angel who actually slaughtered quite a lot of my people that forced the rest to kick me out because of my incompetence," the man chuckled. "The same Angel who killed my queen and fed my unborn child to his dog."

The fear had already marked itself to Uriel. He was now paralyzed. He couldn't do anything but listen to the man, waiting for his death.

"I, the Forsaken's Guard who absorbed the powers of both Death and Famine, shall kill you," the man's eyes turned reddish gold. His killing intent was so powerful that it spanned all across realms.

"War…" Uriel cried. "Don't do this."

"War shall kill!" War raised his hand which transormed into a rectangular sword with a diagonal tip. He used his sword to chop Uriel's head from his body.

The head rolled on the ground a couple of times as the Angel's blood burst out of its body like an angry geyser. War laughed as he continued to cut Uriel's body into pieces.

"This is what you get, filthy Angel!" War yelled. "You are nothing but a murderous monster who knows nothing but death and chaos."

War trampled Uriel's body like it was just a toy. He continued trashing it until he was satisfied. Three hours later, War finally felt tired. He chuckled before reverting his hand back and stepping into the throne.

"That was satisfying," War chuckled. "But I wonder how it got here. There maybe someone who can connect to Heaven through the seal. Maybe I can also do that in the rift of the Abyss. I will summon the Forsaken and let him feast on these people's souls.

"If you really want to, I can help you," a voice spoke that made War laugh.

"Of course, you wouldn't die that easily," War slammed his hands on his knees and grinned widely. "It would be a boring fight if you fall easily. Show me how powerful Heaven is, Uriel."

The scattered blood around the room moved slowly. They flowed toward Uriel's head like water. Uriel's body parts also traveled toward him, all in a smooth motion until his body was recovered like nothing happened.

"An Angel like me would rather obliterate myself than be killed by a filthy creature like you," Uriel growled. "You're not in my level, Demon."

War laughed. "You really are trying to remind me of those days. But those days are long gone. I am now a Behemoth."

"You're still a filthy creature regardless," Uriel smirked and raised his palm to point at War. "You deserve nothing, but death."
