I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

Chapter 530: New Trinity of Power

There was peace after Uriel vanished entirely. The other kingdoms were also alerted of his existence, all of them reporting back about how they felt the serene yet terrifying power.

Meanwhile, the news about Arthur spread throughout the kingdoms. They celebrated him for being one of the most powerful figures in history, the wielder of Excalibur, and the youngest conqueror.

There were some that didn't believe in him and it would only take the newly forged Excalibur to show them their true self.

The giant sword was in Francoise's hands. He was trying to replicate the original sword and purify it as much as he could. His goal was to reach at least ninety-nine percent pure Excalibur metal on the blade.

Meanwhile, he realized that there was a lot of spare pure Excaliburian metal. Excalibur literally grew in size as it was fed by the dark powers of the Azure King. The darkness was swallowed and converted into the Excaliburian metal and was now the hardest metal in the world, replacing Valorium.

Francoise thought that the metal could serve as a hardener for their current weapons, so he took them all and was currently reforging them for the past week.

"At least we can take a short rest," Lance said to Elliot as he handed the latter a cup of coffee. They were on the roof of the Eternals Guild house, watching Alorde slowly drench into darkness.

Their guild became official after Leonardo, who was now the king, accepted their proposal. The Trinity of Power also faced major changes after everything that has happened.

Alexander Crow and Christopher Charlemagne stepped down from their titles and are now living alone in the middle of the woods to spend their twilight years with the former king, Leopold.

After the battles that happened just in the past few days, they have thought of their lives and how much they served the kingdom, and how little they have left. The three men decided to pass on their titles and along with it their responsibilities.

Leonardo Alorde was now the High Swan, Galaxia Crow was now the Sacred Owl, and Alice Crest was now the Honor Owl. Their decisions were final and unprecedented that nobody expected for Christopher to pass his title of the defender of the kingdom to Alice.

For the few years that she was an Adventurer, her name barely reached Solaguer, the capital city. She was famous in Alorde, but she was nowhere near the fame that people like Galaxia had.

Her ranks only rose to the top after the Championship of the Greats where she showed her capabilities. She was then regarded as one of the strongest mages and she has never faltered from there.

But to receive the distinction in just a few months of being recognized made a lot of eyebrows raised. This included the still conservative members of the League from which Yvonne is trying to convince otherwise.

Alice tried to reject the title as much as she could, but the old man was tenacious. He didn't stop until Alice had no choice but to accept it. He said that he has never seen a more fit candidate for the title than her.

Of course, this didn't stop Elliot from thinking about why Alice was the person Christopher chose. For a moment, when he heard that the Raven Justice would pass down his baton, the person he had in mind was Aquarius.

For most people, the only person who was a living God was the most perfect fit to protect the kingdom. Another angle of this was that there was a rule that no two members or more from the Trinity of Power would have the same name. Aquarius and Leonardo were Alordes, so it was not possible.

But this wasn't the reason that he chose Alice. Even after everyone tried to ambush him with the questions, he kept declining them and still stuck with his decision. After this, everyone just stopped asking.

"Everyone is really surprised by how much things have changed," Elliot said to Lance as he took a sip of his coffee. "King Leopold was kicked out, but they pretended that he retired."

"It's to protect his name," Lance sighed. "I am still very much disappointed by my father, but I have no choice but to accept things."

"Speaking of your name, what name will you take now?" Elliot asked. "Since you're not an Alorde, what will you choose?"

For most people, topics like this would always start a short moment of awkward silence between them. But for any member of Elliot's gang, these are the crucial topics that they like to discuss because they get to be as open to each other as possible.

"Can I take yours though?" Lance chuckled. "You can adopt me and turn me into Lance Max."

"That sounds terrible," Elliot snorted. "What if we ask your grandmother what the name of your father was?"

"No," Lance smirked. "I am Lance Gray now."

Elliot was silent for a moment, narrowing his eyes as he watched Lance. "You don't like to talk about the One Sun?"

"Nope," Lance said simply. "I hate him for all I care. My father figures were all trashy why is that?"

Elliot snorted and laughed. "You really are something, Lance."

"Elliot."

They turned around to see Florencia, Viper, and Christina standing behind them. The three had wet eyes as they ran towards Elliot and engulfed him in a hug.

After they escaped from Zeus's prison, the three were sent to the south until things got cleared. They stayed there along with all the civilians of Alorde until things would calm down. They just came back and were now sobbing in Elliot's chest.

"Viper, why are you crying?" Elliot snorted, making the boy growl.

"You're the one who's crying," Viper said. "We thought you were harmed. That presence, the light presence was something that wasn't good was it?"

Elliot just nodded. "That was from an Angel."

Elliot told them about Uriel and how the Angels were not the beings they thought they were. He told them about the fight that happened and how they were able to defeat both the Azure King and Death, along with Famine at the same time.

Death's body was found on the edge of the forest after their fight. He was already dead when they found him, but Irus was suspicious of the death of Death.

"He said that Death was killed?" Viper asked. "What?"

"You see, Death and Famine were heavily weakened when we fought them," Mammon appeared out of nowhere. He sat next to Elliot comfortably. "Their powers were hugely different from before and it was odd."

"What could've caused that?" Elliot asked. "Do you know?"

Mammon thought for a moment before shaking his head. "No, actually. But it could either be one of two things. One, there's another Guard that escaped the Abyss. That Guard will be our key in defeating Uriel."

Elliot nodded. They have never heard about this before. All they were told was that Death was killed, and the decrease of the Guards' powers wasn't mentioned by Irus. "And the other?"

"That–"

"Everyone," Francoise called out from down below. "The weapons are ready. Excalibur had been fully incorporated in your weapons."
