I Know the Secret to Surpass Level 100

A shattered multicolored glass appeared above Death. He looked up to see the gass glowing with bright light before firing several rounds of beam at him.

The large span of area which he stood was covered with a thick cloud of mist. There was zero visibility inside whatsoever and the only sign of Death's presence was his boiling anger.

"Idiots!" Death yelled. With a strong force of his arms sweeping the air, the thick cloud of dusts was cleared in a second. Death was panting, furious after the blow he had just dealt with. "Their powers increased by a lot. How could this happen?"

He looked up to see that the eye that Mammon created was now gone along with the presence of the demons and the rest of the citizens of Solaguer. This angered Death even more, causing him to fire a giant beam of energy from where he stood.

Across the plains several miles from Solaguer, the demons saw the beam of light. The four of them managed to evacuate the citizens in a short period of time by using most of their magic.

"That man was a menace," Mammon fell to the ground in exhaustion. "I couldn't believe he would try to kill us"

"We need to find whatever it is that he's hiding," Aquarius told the demons. "I think there is something that he's hiding from us."

"A child," Irus said. "Death must got a woman pregnant. What he said before, he double bluffed us. We need to find the woman that Death impregnated and convince her to stop Death."

"Are you sure it's just a woman?" Leviathan asked. "We know little to know about the Guards, but we know how loyal they are to the Forsaken. I don't think a Guard like Death would abandon his duties just for a woman."

Irus shook his head. "Of course, not. But if you have found something that you want to ptotect, you'll do anything to protect that."

"I agree," Saitan concurred. "With Leviathan. It doesn't make sense if Death would just try to kill us because he has someone to protect. It would be more beneficial to him to just form an alliance with us."

This made Irus thought for a moment. The man was silent for a couple of seconds before he finally agreed. "Alright. Then, there must be something else that Death is hiding."

The demons were suddenly interrupted when a crowd had gathered behind them. They walked over to where it was and saw King Leopold kneeling in front of his son, the Raven Justice and the Holy Crow were standing beside Leonardo.

"King Leopold."

"What is he doing?"

"Why is the king kneeling?"

Words had escaped the people's mouth as they watched Leonardo look at his father in anger. They had mixed emotions after seeing him look at his father this way.

Most of them were confused and shocked, but some were angry. They looked up to the king as their ruler and a their thougt that a mere illegitimate son would make his father kneel in front of him was completely unnecessary and uncalled for.

"I do not deserve your forgiveness," King Leopold said. "I do not receive my people's respect. I am a sinner, a much bigger sinner than anyone here."

"As the Holy Crow and the Leader of the Son of Heaven, the bringer of light, and one of the Trinity of Power of Avancia," the Holy Crow said. "I hereby denounce King Leopold of his title as king and hereby pass on his powers, authority, and title to his son, Prince Leonardo."

"I as the Raven Justice, the keeper of peace and the bringer of hope, and one of the Trinity of Power concur," the Raven Justice said. "King Leopold, your powers, authority, and title are now denounced. You are now known as King Regent and your powers will be less than the Trinity of Power."

"I accept your decision," King Leopold bowed to the ground which caused an uproar. Some of the citizens wanted to attack the Holy Crow and Raven Justice but a wall of water blocked their path.

"No," Aquarius shook his head. "Let them do what they need to do."

"He who abandoned his son to raise a child that was not his own," Leonardo said. "You fooled your wife. You fooled your people. You fooled yourself."

Leonardo brandished his sword and raised it above him. "You are the one who abandoned the crown prince to look after a child that was the Eternal of this realm. You abandoned the future of this kingdom."

"I deserve death, my king," Leopold kissed his hands which were on the ground as he bowed and kneeled. "I do not deserve your forgiveness."

Leonardo sighed and struck his sword, earning him a gasp from the people. A sound of metal hitting the ground sounded and Leopold opened his eyes to see that he was still alive.

"However, I am not a king like you," Leonardo said. "And I most definitely don't want to create another problem when we still have one more to solve. Demons? What do we do with Death?"

Saitan walked in front of them and smirked. "We need to talk in private. Aquarius, expand the wall."

"Right," Aquarius pushed his wall made of water larger, making the citizens behind it walk back and further from them. "These people are still much confused. You need to explain everything further later."

"I will do so, as the new king," Leonardo said. "But for now, we have to find a way to defeat Death. But how will we go up against him when his powers are are already overwhelming in every aspect."

"Not all the time," Leviathan smirked. "The Guards have their own time which they are weakest. At this time, Death will be most vulnerable and his powers would decrease by more than half."

"More than half?" Aquarius asked. "When is this? We need to utilize this time in our advantage then."

"We will," Irus created a table and placed a map in it. It was the map of Solaguer. "First, we need to lure him."
