"I knew it, the power of the sacred weapons isn't something that can be easily defeated. I should have known," Nero mutters beneath his mouth filled with blood, despite that he still spoke cleanly. His chest was punctured, and blood poured from the wound, and the spear that had been called by its master glowed bright. The power of the sacred spear locked on Nero, absorbing all his remaining strength to fight and sealing any knowledge he had in his body.

"There we go, we have captured our enemy," Gilgamesh said, not pulling his weapon, instead manipulating it to float along the body of their enemy.

"So, how was it? Was the show good?" The southern duke added glancing at Apollo's and Alicia's position.

"Wait, they knew we were here?"

Alicia didn't answer Apollo's question; instead, she went towards the four and revealed herself.

"I did see the results coming but still it's good to see you all coming out to exercise"

"It's good to see you, Lady Alicia. Though, who is the fellow with you? My bow has been telling me about him," Abraham added as he approached Alicia.

"Though I don't know who you are talking about, I am curious what kind of being is accompanying our lady," Helios said, the staff resting on his hand, then disappeared and was replaced by a sword, the one he usually used.

"Ah, him," Alicia, in her human form, beckoned Apollo to come out.

"Should I reveal myself?"

Apollo came out from the veil of the authority of space, but his body was still that of a half-demon. Upon his appearance, the four dukes felt the pressure brought by his mere presence.

"You are a demon...but a human at the same time," Harald realized, analyzing Apollo as if he were some sort of specimen.

"Good day, my name is Sun," he introduced himself using a different name, though it didn't really matter to the four what his true name is.

"Are you a servant of the lady?" The northern asked, but then Apollo shook his head.

"I am a friend of hers," he merely added, nudging Alicia. What is their next move?

"Oh, are you two here for him as well? I am sorry we beat you to it." Gilgamesh said, tapping Nero's head repeatedly, then with a flick of his finger, he commanded his spear to teleport right into the dungeon beneath the palace.

"Although we want to talk more, we need to move out now." Harald bows first, moving closer to Helios, who is about to use one of the stored teleportation spells on his sword.

"Bye, my lady," Gilgamesh waved his hand, standing right beside the other dukes.

Helios activated the spell, however, before he went, he looked at the demon right beside Alicia, and for a moment, he thought of a certain someone.

"Apollo," he mutters unconsciously, then the spell completely swallowed them, teleporting them right into the dungeons of the imperial palace.

"Did he discover you, or did he just say your name absent-mindedly?"

"I don't know either but if I were to guess he just said it without much thought"

Then Apollo looked at Alicia and said, "Should we meet the remaining duke who is still here?"

Sitting on the throne of the castle inside Nero's lair was the archduke.

"Is the seat comfortable?"

Archduke Astralia just chuckled but immediately stood from his seat and bowed down to give respect to Alicia.

"I felt your presence but seeing you came here only to watch I decided to look around while those four have their fun"

"Have their fun?" Apollo felt exasperated, remembering how he struggled to fight him, yet the four dukes were just fooling around while fighting Nero.

"I know, but it's still frustrating how easy it came to them while I struggle," he replied in his mind. Then he thought about the weapon he just used to fight against Excalibur. "Perhaps I should focus on cultivating that weapon"

"Why are you here exactly, Lucius?" Alicia asked again, sitting right on the throne that the archduke had abandoned.

"To be called by that name again surprises me, my lady, as for your question, I was tasked to investigate the area while the cardinal dukes take on Nero's undivided attention." Astralia was unusually happy, or more accurately, excited. This was the side he did not see back when he was in Nadezhda.

"Based on your expression, you saw something impressive, didn't you?" Alicia asked seeing how the archduke was eager to share what he found out.

"Well, to start off, I found a diary that contains the research materials on how Nero extracted a fragment of the world tree and condensed it into a gem. I suppose you did see it in person since it was present when he fought the four dukes. Aside from that, I also found something from one of the lairs they have. I found the diary of our alpha she-wolf. He then gave it to Alicia, Apollo, who was standing right next to the throne, couldn't help but peek through the report.

"Reincarnation?"

"Yes, although we are not sure what time of reincarnation and who is the person who has this, that she wolf was very confident that they won't lose because of it. That the person who has the power of reincarnation will take their will into their next life and thus the purpose of the

Alicia rested her elbow on the throne's armrest, her expression tells you she is thinking of something.

"Have you reported this to Augustus?"

"Yes my lady everything including the ones I recently found here"

The archduke looked very excited as he smiled while replying, "As you command my lady"

Apollo stood beside the throne and continued reading the file despite the archduke explaining it to them.

"So right now you came here looking for any clues pertaining to these certain reincarnators"

"Yes, my lady, and from what I see from the hidden text buried by Nero here, and to his other lairs, it seems he is trying to control which body this reincarnator is supposed to be born to. He and his remaining servants had that objective. They wanted Nero to finish that research and willingly risked their lives for him"

"What a loyalty," Alicia commented, but the archduke shook his head and said, "It's not just loyalty, but also their belief that through the reincarnator they will live again. So even if they die now they will rise again once the reincarnator is reborn again"

Apollo looked at the file again and saw that the source was the memories from the deceased members of the church. It seems the Mage's tower had a hand in the investigation and thus has access to the spells that are best used for interrogation.

"Even the dead can't escape those spells," Apollo thought, but as he flipped through the pages of the file, he saw something. He felt a sudden nervousness as he read through the next words of the report.

"No need to be surprised friendly half demon, what the file said is what we found out after numerous interrogations and analyzing"

Apollo set aside his disbelief at how he peeked through his helmet and instead asked, "Nero was the reincarnator?"

"He is one of the few people we are suspecting though we have plenty on the list, our deposed king was simply the most appropriate one in our analysis"

Apollo beckoned the archduke to continue, and happily, he proceeded to his next findings.

Aside from the gem from the world tree, Nero also created bodies that would be used as a vessel for the reincarnator, and for the other revolutionary gods that had previously been killed. The problem is if we were to execute Nero chances that he is the reincarnator and just be born again are high, but according to the head of the Mage's tower, there is a way to turn the tide"

"And that is?" Apollo felt a sudden tension hearing that his grandfather was involved in this.

"Using the current data about the clones, we will manipulate which body he is supposed to be born to, though the possibility of failing is high, but the Association and the Mage's tower presented us with excellent countermeasures. If you flip through the file you can see the possible solution they have presented to us"

While reading the formulas and theories indicated in the file, Apollo suddenly had the urge to be included in it.

Perhaps he could prevent Nero from reincarnating even more, if he ever was the reincarnator they are looking for"

"Lucius, tell me what you plan to do once you get hold of this reincarnator?" Alicia asked, still in her previous nonchalant position.

"We plan to forever imprison whoever that person is"

"Then what if that reincarnator is already killed and now has been reborn again," as she said those words, however, she quietly glanced at Apollo, who had previously gone on a killing spree and massacred the enemies. Archduke Astralia seemed to ponder a bit but eventually answered.

"If that were to be the case, then...."
