For two minutes, Brian was at a loss for words because he was so surprised. He made an effort to maintain his composure as quickly as he could because he didn't want Ben to notice. He tightened his fists and put them on top of his legs.

"dude why are you not saying anything and why is your eyes like that?" , Ben said. Tears were streaming from Brian's reddened eyes. As he began to giggle, tears started to stream down his face. "I don't know why I'm being theatrical, but the tale you just told me has left me feeling so moved that I've fallen head over heels in love with Prisca once more.

He put his palm to his chest and remarked, "At this rate, I guess I'll just pop the question to her. Ben chuckled." I must admit that I was surprised by the response and am disappointed. Because I believed you would flee and never look back, which would give me an opportunity to win Prisca's heart", Ben said. 

Brian guffawed. "well boy you need to try more harder cause I'm not going anywhere" , he replied. Ben exhaled deeply. He pointed at Brian and raised his nose, saying, "I hope your sentiments are sincere because if you hurt Prisca I'll murder you. "dude why would I hurt someone I love be for real" ,said Brian with a laugh.

Ben exhaled deeply. "Please promise me you won't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you" Ben said, staring at Brian.

  "I won't, now tell me"

"I'm serious. But I have a sense that in order for you to please Prisca, you need to know it," he said.

Trust me, I won't tell anyone, and who will I even tell, because even though we are always in a group, the only people I always talk with the most are you and Prisca" ,he replied. Ben answered, "You're correct about that. "Okay, I'll admit it, I've always liked  Prisca. We have been friends for 11 years now.

She's both my best friend and my first love", he grinned.Brian speaking inaudibly:(Is this what he was talking about? How dull). "I first met her when I was seven years old and she was ten. Our parents were preparing to purchase a foreigner's gold mine. However, his father wasn't as wealthy then as he is now.

He so decided to seek Prisca's mother for money, but she refused since he believed it to be some sort of hoax. Mrs. Wilson owned her own houses and had savings. Since she was the only child in the family at the time, her wealthy parents gave her half of their wealth as a wedding gift when she wed Prisca's father.

I heard from my dad that back then she wanted for her kid to go and study overseas when she turns 18 since she believed that she would have lot of opportunities. Even though she has businesses of her own and his husband had businesses also he didn't want to force her daughter when she's older to take for their business instead she wanted her to do what she loves.

She therefore began saving for her while she was still pregnant, he claimed. Ben exhaled deeply. Then, Brian questioned, "And what happened?" So, Prisca's father apparently developed an obsession. He chose to assassinate Prisca's mother because she wouldn't give him the money he needed to grow his business.

It is said that Prisca heard them arguing nonstop that day until she didn't hear any voice at all. So she decided to go into their room, and when she got there, her dad was on top of her mother, strangling her. Her mother was looking at her until her last breath.

She practically witnessed her father killing her mother. Brian widen his eyes and raised his eyebrows. "Bro! That's... that's.", Brian said. "Dude I know I felt that way after hearing the story. I was speechless. So what happened next is that his father spotted her after he finished killing her mother.

And he warned her that if she revealed that to anyone, he would kill her. "Okay, wait, so if he said that, how did you come to hear about it" , Brian responded. "My dad told me, obviously, that they were childhood friends. I guess he trusted him enough to tell him his darkest secrets, or he drugged him to make him confess so that he could use that information in the future, because even though they're friends, they're also business rivals" , he said as he gazed at Brian.

After the incident, Prisca developed traumatic mutism and was unable to speak for days. His father decided to get a therapist for her, but it was challenging for them to make a diagnosis because Prisca had been threatened with dire consequences if she told anyone. Prisca's academic progress is suffering as a result.

Like she didn't study for three years after all that hardship. He didn't want her grandparents to get involved in their situation, so she kept her locked up at his house for something like two years.and informed her grandparents that she had sent her abroad to study. And he triumphed because they lack knowledge. What they do know is that Prisca saw her mother's suicide, which caused her to develop traumatized mutism.

Ben sighed and laughed. "Those fools even supported her dad when he wanted her to stay overseas; they thought that it would be for the best. Little did they know that Prisca's dad pulled an act to fool them" , Ben stated. "I don't even blame Prisca's grandparents for believing him; he came with a convincing plan. It seems like he had been considering that for a while," replied Brian

Ben answered, "Exactly! ". "Yes, that's why Prisca is so far behind in her studies; virtually all of her age group is in college, but she's still in high school. She was never stupid, but for a very long period, he claimed, she endured trauma at the hands of his father. And right now, it seems like his father is intentionally hurting her on a regular basis because he is so preoccupied with his business and his position of power.

While Prisca planned to pursue a career in law, "she wants her to take over some of his businesses and forced her to engage in commerce. He is so preoccupied with power that he is oblivious to the fact that he is transforming her daughter into a monster. Like what she is doing to those helpless small kids, it is not something she enjoys doing; rather, it is a means of ensuring her survival because she finds happiness in the suffering of others, Ben added.

She's broken, which is why she's harming so many others. So she doesn't want to see anyone pleased in her presence, Ben added. Brian put his palm to his mouth and replied, "I don't even blame her bro that is understood she has gone through a lot.

"I just heard from my dad that his father is attending private meetings" ,Ben stated. He drew nearer to Brian and said it in a whisper. "He wants to join politics so that he can run for president as soon as possible" ,he stated.

Brian's eyes widened, and his jaw dropped. "His ambitions have grown so big that no one can stop him. So he will get rid of anyone who will stand his way, even if it's her daughter.He is unawarer of her daughter's covert activities. If she could know that her daughter is involved in illegal pornography, that would be a severe problem, said Ben.

"I didn't simply tell you those things to make you feel sorry for Prisca; I also wanted you to accept her for who she is. You have been the object of Prisca's love for a long now. Therefore, you must realize that she had no desire to harm you.

"Now that you also have feelings for her, I can say that I'm in peace because all I want for Prisca is to be happy, even if I'm not the only one who's responsible for her happiness because I love her so much". "Dude, thank you so much for telling me this; you have helped me so much", said Brian as he was holding Ben's shoulder.

"Now I have to go to think of cute ways to propose to Prisca because I want my confession to be as beautiful as ever so that she will never ever forget it in her life", said Brian as he was smirking. Ben laughed. "Okay, then all the best". "Bro, thanks; I really needed that",he said.When he was about to live, he saw Prisca walking towards them. 

You guys are hiding here; I have been looking for you everywhere. What were you talking about that made you hide in this park? she said, staring at Brian. Brian smiled and said, "Trust me, you'll find out soon. It's a surprise; I'm going now, okay?". Prisca smiled. "Well, okay then".

Brian walked away.
