Side Story 2. Family, and a New Family (1)

A child who survived through numerous possibilities, but there were still many obstacles to overcome for the child to be born.

The doctor said while examining the ultrasound. It was difficult to determine the exact gestational age, but based on discussions with Seung-hyun, it should have been at least 6 months, yet the baby was too small for that.

A voice he hadn’t heard in a long time. Jae-young sighed and opened the door. Standing in front of the door was a woman who looked quite similar to Jae-young.

“My sister. When did you come to Korea?”

His sister? A surprised Seung-hyun looked back and forth between Jae-young and the woman. When his eyes met the woman’s, Seung-hyun startled and took a step back.

“I’m sorry for coming without notice. But this guy blocked all the family members’ contact information, so I had no choice. I’m this idiot’s sister, Ju Jae-yun.”

“It’s not good to keep a pregnant person standing for long. Shall we go inside and talk?”

Jae-yun guided Seung-hyun and Jae-young into the house as if she were the homeowner. As expected from just seeing the entryway, Jae-yun wasn’t the only uninvited guest.

“You blocked all our numbers and immediately block any other attempts to contact you, so what other choice did we have?”

Jae-sung shrugged and said. Jae-young’s parents, two older brothers, and sister. Five uninvited guests in total. Jae-young let out a long sigh.
