I Became a Knockoff Arms Dealer in the Marvel World

Chapter 6: Chapter 6: The T-Virus Plan

The idea of trading human lives was specifically proposed by Carl, as his biological laboratory was in dire need of test subjects.

With a satisfied nod, Carl said, "May our trade be prosperous!"

The three Middle Eastern sheikhs clasped their hands together, palms facing up, and made a gesture of prayer, saying in unison, "Allahu Akbar!" (God is the Greatest!)

After finalizing the transaction, Carl quickly exited the office, walking down the corridor of the base. He soon reached an underground railway passage, which was a fast and secure exit to the outside world, exclusively for his private use.

Carl boarded the train, and shortly after, the voice of "Red Queen" echoed.

[Activating power to A1 high-speed train]

The train gradually began moving, and soon its speed increased, reaching 300 kilometers per hour. In just half an hour, the train arrived at the Belgrade port.

This port, located on the Baltic Sea, was one of the most important ports for Umbrella Corporation's arms trade.

From this port, Umbrella could send any kind of goods to any country in the world.

The entire Belgrade port was secretly controlled by Umbrella, and on the surface, it rarely handled public shipments.

Carl exited the underground train and took an elevator up to the main warehouse of the port.

He then accessed the system's marketplace and began purchasing the military supplies required by his clients, paying in U.S. dollars.

Three sets of SAD (Surface-to-Air Defense) systems, each consisting of AN/TPY-2 fire control radar vehicles, mobile command armored vehicles, nine tactical trucks with eight launchers for anti-aircraft missiles, and 72 intercept missiles.

500 BGM-109C Tomahawk land-attack cruise missiles.

125 M-983A4 trailer-mounted units, each loaded with a four-barrel lift-type launch system integrated into a 40-foot container.

These mobile ground-based launchers, all equipped with Tomahawk missiles, were purchased from the system's marketplace.

When the 50,000-square-meter large warehouse was stacked with various missile launchers, Carl smiled as he surveyed the arms.

He had spent less than 9 billion U.S. dollars from the system's marketplace to acquire all these weapons, and just by turning around and selling them to the client, he would earn 300 billion U.S. dollars.

The enormous profits from arms trading were something Carl was deeply fascinated by.

He opened his system panel for a glance.

[Pirate Tech System]

[Host: Carl Davis]

[Strength: 20]

[Speed: 20]

[Constitution: 28]

[Intelligence: 13]

[Superpowers: Telekinesis, Sixth Sense]

[Level 1 Mall] [Level 2 Mall]

[Level 3 Mall (unavailable)]

[System Points: 3.2 billion]

A strength of 20 meant Carl could deliver a punch with the force of about three tons.

A speed of 20 meant Carl could complete a 100-meter sprint in three seconds, which was fast, but when compared to someone like Quicksilver, who could move at several times the speed of sound, it was still relatively slow.

Due to Carl using the perfected T-Virus, one of its characteristics was the rapid regeneration of cells, which boosted his constitution to 28 points.

He had once tested this by lightly cutting his arm with a knife. Within seconds, the wound healed up rapidly.

His intelligence was 13, which placed him at the level of an average genius. The T-Virus hadn't enhanced Carl's intelligence, leading to the somewhat low figure.

Carl's superpowers, for now, consisted of two abilities: the Sixth Sense, similar to Spider-Man's "spider sense," and telekinesis.

His telekinesis was relatively average—he could lift objects weighing up to 500 kilograms.

He could also fly using telekinesis, but the speed was very slow, not faster than a bus, at most 70 kilometers per hour.

With these abilities, Carl's combat strength surpassed Captain America's. While Captain America may have slightly better physical strength, he couldn't fly, which made him reliant solely on ground combat—a serious limitation.

As for the Level 1 Mall, it contained all sorts of weapons and technologies from Level 1 civilizations.

From a Desert Eagle handgun to a 5-megaton hydrogen bomb, it included all modern weaponry.

Even the weak AI, Red Queen, was obtained from the Level 1 Mall.

The weapons and technologies in the Level 2 Mall were starting to venture into the realm of science fiction.

Gene-based weapons included Spider-Man's serum, mutant serums, and even Kryptonian serum—things that defied logic.

There were also cybernetic enhancements from Cyberpunk 2077, Oasis VR technology, various models of intelligent robots from I, Robot.

There were even Medpods from Elysium, capable of curing all cancers and diseases.

And, of course, there were the Water Droplets, two-dimensional paper, and quantum computers from The Three-Body Problem.

The Level 2 Mall contained technologies from civilizations spanning Levels 2 to 4, with a list of hundreds of thousands of pages.

As for the Level 3 Mall, Carl speculated that it probably contained technologies from Level 5 to 7 civilizations.

Things like parallel universe travel technology, time machines, Zero-Point Technology, and Causal Weapons, among others.

Carl didn't expect to access the Level 3 Mall any time soon. With 3.2 billion system points, equivalent to 3.2 billion U.S. dollars, he was far from enough to buy from it.

One system point equaled one U.S. dollar.

Carl could obtain system points by recycling valuable items like currency, precious metals, and minerals.

With this amount of points, he could only afford some military supplies from the Level 1 Mall.

However, once the orders from the Middle Eastern sheikhs were completed, Carl would earn 200 billion system points, at which point he planned to exchange them for Spider-Man's serum to further enhance his physical abilities, as well as several X-level superpowers.

At that time, his combat strength would likely reach demi-god levels.

By then, Carl wouldn't need to be cautious in his actions anymore.

Apart from the Supreme Sorcerer, Ancient One, he wouldn't fear any enemies on Earth.

Carl had already devised his next plan: once his combat power broke through, he would begin releasing the T-Virus worldwide to trigger a real-life biohazard.

He called it the "T-Virus Plan."

Of course, this wasn't some crazy idea.

In the Marvel Universe, Carl estimated that the genius Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, could create an antidote to the virus in no time.

The reason Carl wanted to unleash the T-Virus was to create widespread panic.

At that point, Umbrella Corporation's arms could sell like hotcakes, and once Carl had enough system points, he would launch cybernetic enhancement technologies and bionic robots.

He had even thought up advertising slogans for the occasion.

"If you can't carry a gun everywhere, turn your body into a weapon."

"Even in the middle of a zombie outbreak, you could escape the encirclement all by yourself."

Carl knew that if his plan succeeded, everyone worldwide would go crazy for his cybernetic enhancements and bionic robots.

The profits from monopolizing this business would be astronomical.

With a market of seven billion humans for cybernetics, Carl was certain that he would make a fortune.
