House of The Dragon-A God Amongst Men

Chapter 6: The Fated Meeting

[A/N: Well, I already finished The Black Lord so that means this one and The Beauty, The Bold, and The Black Dread will be focused on more often. That said, I will not update as much as I did with the others since I will focus on my other stories on the other Account.

Merry Christmas]

[A Few Days Later]

(Drakken's POV)

"So...." I said as I stood there in the middle of the road, "This does not seem quite on my favor, does it?"

The girl was sobbing, "Please, don't hurt me...."

"Shut up." I said

We were standing in the middle of the road, surrounded by a large group of soldiers on horseback. They had appeared out of nowhere, stampeding around and shouting at us to stop. They were holding the same banners as the ones from before; the men that I killed when I first landed. The majority of them were not fully armored but only wore the regular chain mail covered by the yellow colors of the Lord they served.

There was a lot of them and I doubt I was going to easily dispatch them should a fight break out. Maybe I should see where this goes, I don't feel like causing another bloodshed, there's been too much of that.

A rider looked at me, "You there..." He said, "What is your relationship with that woman?"

I shrugged, "She's my guide."

"And where is she guiding you to?" He asked

"King's Landing." I said

"What for?" He asked

"That's my business," I said

"Why is she crying?" He asked

"You're asking too many questions." I frowned, "How about I ask you some? Where is your King's dragons?"

He frowned, "Dragons?" He said, "What do you want with dragons?"

I sighed and shook my head, "Alright, look." I said, "How about you let me go and we all will go our separate ways, peacefully."

"There has been several incidents all over the Stormlands." He said, "Many bodies were dropped. A fight in Ashford where the owner of a tavern said his daughter was abducted. Tell me, is that the girl?"

"Y-Yes!" she cried, "Help me!"

Some of the riders drew their weapons, glaring at me as their horses shifted.

I frowned, "You serious?" I said as I looked at her, "What guarantee is there that these men won't try to rape you like the others. You have too much faith in them."

She looked at me, tears flowing from her eyes, "J-Just leave me be..."

I shrugged, "Fine." I said, "Go ahead, go with them. I'll have one of them guide me to King's Landing then. If they rape you, well that's your problem now."

"Nobody's raping anyone." the Rider said, "And nobody is guiding you anywhere."

I raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?"

"Yeah, that's so." He said, "You will come quietly with us. We will take you to our Lord so you can await punishment."

I sighed, "No, I don't think I will." I said as I rolled up my sleeves, "I suppose this world is so used to shedding blood that there are men so foolishly charging to their deaths. Doesn't matter, though. A God like me should not feel bad about stepping on ants."

"Ants, you say?" He said with a frown

I rushed at him, swinging my hand to the air, "Mhm."

I watched as blood sprayed out of his chest, I had cut him with my ability. He dropped to the ground as his horse stood on his rear legs, neighing in panic.

"You bastard!!!" I heard another rider shout in anger

I flicked my wrist aiming at him and saw that I cut him in his neck. He clutched it, dropping his sword, and stumbled out of his saddle, trying his best to not bleed out. His eyes widened in shock as blood through his hand, his legs flaying on the ground.

I walked over to him and stomped on his face, feeling the crack of his skull as I twisted my boot. I looked up and over at the other riders.

"So...." I said, "You sure you want to do this?"

************

"Gods....." the girl sobbed as she was on her knees next to me, "Please show me mercy..."

"I am." I said as I drank water from a leather canteen, "But you keep complaining."

I was sitting down on the ground, looking at the sight of bloodshed in front of me. I really did not want to do any of this but they forced my hand. It's not like I cared, I really did not. But after a bit, it can get boring, killing. It could get repetitive, especially when it's just using my Cutting Sorcery. I really needed to find a way to get my true strength back.

"At this point, it could get bad." I said, "Even I can understand that this much bloodshed will get the attention of a whole army. Now, can I handle such a force? I don't know. Not in this current state of mine. If I got a bit more power, absolutely. But oh well...."

She looked at me, "W-What are you...?"

"I'm the God of War and Death." I said, "But as of right now, I am as weak as a mortal."

"I don't..." she said, "I do not understand....there is no god like that..."

"Maybe not in this world." I said, "But you frail humans love to worship foolish deities that don't even respond. I, however, like to treat my subjects fairly."

"Subjects..?" She sniffed

I nodded as I looked at her, "War and Death. That's my thing." I said, "But right now, only cutting is my thing. Well, I'm killing efficiently.....not the point."

Before I could say or think of anything else, there was a loud nasally roar that filled the air. The moment we heard that, the girl's eyes widened in shock.

"That's...!" She said as she looked up

I stood up, "A roar...from the sky..." I said as I looked up, "Is that what I think it its??"

"A dragon!" She said, "Thank the gods....!"

I heard the flapping of wings and my heart began to beat faster, excitement filling my body.

I could not help but smirk, "A dragon, eh?" I said, "Finally! Come to me!!!"

Above in the clouds, I saw a flash of red moving about. I believe the girl saw the same thing because she began to gasp in surprise.

"Prince Aemon!" She exclaimed, "That's Caraxes!"

I smirked even more, "A Prince!" I said, "That's perfect!!"

Suddenly, I saw a red figure burst through the clouds, letting out another nasally roar as it descended from the skies.

My smirk immediately disappeared from the sky, "What the fuck is that?"

"That's Prince Aemon and his dragon, Caraxes!" She said

That was no Dragon. It was a Wyvern, a red Wyvern. It was skinny, with a long neck and really weird webbed legs. It's face looked rather stupid too. Atop of it, a young man wearing silver steel armor sat on a saddle.

"A Dragon...?" I said with a serious frown, "That's.....not...."

I felt draconic power coming from the creature as it swooped down and landed hard on the ground, letting out a vicious snarl, trying its hardest to intimidate me. There was no doubt about it, the presence that I felt, the draconic presence, it was this thing. Back when I hit the ground all that time ago, I felt what I believed was a Dragon and I was sure it was this wretched creature.

Disappointment was all I felt.

I looked at the man who was sitting atop the creature, "Hm...."

He looked at me, "A man?" He said as his creature began to snarl even more, "He caused all of this?"

"All this bloodshed?"
