Chapter 932: Scared beyond belief-1

" I will be back soon." He said before leaving. Samuel knew it would be foolish to involve Raphael and his team as they were not capable of hiding among the million security cameras that permeated the city. He would fully use his powers to blend in among the crowds and with the help of the location tracker soon, he would have that bastard in his hands.

He first went to his car and pulled out his overnight bag. It had became his ritual to carry around this thing in case of emergency, it contained few clothes and other necessities that would help him in his time of need. Whether he needed to disappear in case of any disaster or needed to neutralize any threat his way, this small handy bag had a careful assortment of things for this mission.

He was careful and avoided any security cameras along the way to reach for his car. Opening the small section at the front of his car, he retrieved the bag and began changing into some normal clothes and also put on a sufficient disguise to cover his track.

Checking his cell again, he noticed the target was around ten miles further outside the city. He thought about hailing a taxi but decided against it. It was better to run along the narrow alley and some hilly forest than to leave any trace behind.

He stashed his white suit inside the car and put on a sleek black attire that completely covered him from top to bottom. Retrieving his trusted unmarked glock and some accessories to suppress the gunshot, he began to make his way toward the location.

His phone vibrated again, he saw it was Steve leaving him a message. He knew incase of such emergency the security division would be alerted alerting those around him. Samuel didn't hesitate and dialed his number while running at full capacity.

He was leaping from building to building, scanning his surrounding for anything suspicious. Fortunately, it was a cloudy night with minimum moonlight making it easier for him to blend in.

" Boss! Are you alright? I just got-"

" I am fine. I know about the security breach but everything is under control for now. I am currently moving toward their location." Samuel's voice was muffled by the strong breeze.

" Should I call for reinforcements? I can ask Sir Arthur or Zero to provide support, we can also fly out to assist you." Steve said in a panicked tone. He and Jane had been enjoying the quiet holidays for weeks, they never knew what sort of trouble their boss was in suddenly, no one told them anything.

" I will be alright. I am being discreet. If our men make a move, it would only alert our enemies. Beside, I am not fighting, just confronting them." He lied. He was going to let them know exactly who was responsible. He was sure, the Rockefellers wouldn't be happy but it was one of them who kept egging him to retaliate.

He was going to show them, just how wrong they were if they thought he was going to lie down and take this insult! Find exclusive stories on empire

He told Steve few more things about Richard Rockefeller and the strange person beside him. Samuel knew for a fact that whoever they were, they had something to do with the hacking.

The fastest time for a ten mile run was around forty four and half minutes but Samuel was infront of the lonely warehouse within ten minutes. If he pushed himself, he knew he could be faster but he wanted to steel himself for the inevitable confrontation.

He said his goodbyes to Steve and began inspecting the surrounding. The warehouse seemed somewhat of a relic of the past standing tall as a reminder of the good industrial era. But everything else seemed new, from that short wall encroached with barbed wires to the sentry towers every fifty meters, they all seemed newly built.

He could sense life force to a distance of few kilometers, once he enclosed the whole area he soon found out there were around fifty people inside the premise. There didn't seem to be any remaining building around the place, a perfect hiding place as this place seemed outside the police's juridictions.

There were many bushes he could utilize to sneak around but he wanted to make a bold statement. From the glint in guard's eyes, he knew they were wearing night vision. It might give them an advantage against other enemies but Samuel was a different breed, he could clearly see in the dark which he utilized to best of his abilities.

Running parallel to the wall, he meshed through different barriers and barricades, aiming for a area to breach. He knew if he wanted to go through the gate, he would have to reveal some of his powers which he wasn't so keen on doing.

There were also some high tech cameras equipped with sensors that could detect heat signatures. He could tell they were all military grade equipments, with the right price, he knew anyone would be able to afford it.

The men guarding the place also looked professional as they passed each other leaving on few seconds for him to sneak through. He took out his handgun but after some thought, decided not to do it. He wanted to make Richard realize who he was messing with.

He wanted to make him scared for his life which meant, he had to act like a ghost who could walk through walls! No one would be able to jump across the thick walls, but Samuel steady himself leaning down bracing himself.

He knew there was a little moat right behind the wall, so his jump had to be high enough so that he could cover the wall and the moat in one go. Any loud noise could alarm the surrounding guards. Like he was ready to sprint he lowered his body and dashed straight toward the wall.

Right when two guards passed each other, he made the leap of faith and jumped as high as he could. He felt his body float, this was a weird expression as he never tried to push himself beyond his limit. Like a gust of wind, he waltz through them landing perfectly on his legs without any issue.

Without skipping a beat, he dodged to the side aiming for one of the bushes. He was like a black shadow weaving through the terrain making his way to the point of interest. The dilapidated warehouse was well lit from all sides with heavy security, he knew he couldn't barge inside without considerations so he chose one of the small shack along the warehouse for his refuse.

He could tell that there were people around it but the back of the shack acted as a refuse for guards to relieve themselves. He could tell from a mile away just by the stench. He blocked all his olfactory senses to make it bearable for him to approach the site.

He avoided the stench as much as he could and directly leapt on top of the shack so as to not subject his clothes to soak any filthy residue. His speed was enough to avoid that and the roof of the shack also looked firm.

There was only a dull noise when he landed on the top which made guards to look around but they didn't find anything. Who would want to subject themselves to that horrible scent? They didn't even check the location properly before retiring to their post.

Samuel stood still scanning the location of security cameras. Seeing all of them were pointing downwards, he knew he had found a potential flaw in their security. Honestly, he couldn't blame them for it, who would be able to leap onto the roof without making any noise? Unfortunately for them, Samuel was like a cat doing as he pleased to get to his 'prey'.

Now that he got a closer look at the ugly building, he could see it was only made to look like this. The whole place looked reinforced, they even had a glass roof like expensive penthouse and several other structures built inside to make it more comfortable.

If he was one of the guards, he would love to spend time inside rather than walking outside the place not knowing the true luxury of the place. He spotted a air duct probably for the general air-conditioning, the place was huge so it needed commercial cooler to maintain pleasant temperature.

There were also some windows at higher level, probably the living space for the guests but the people on the ground wouldn't be able to see inside because it was heavily tinted. They also looked sturdy so he wouldn't be able to force his way inside without making noise.

He thought for a second and decided it was best to fully use his powers, he could melt the roof to make an entrance and later wield it shut so that it would be like he was never here. He sat down for a second and began forming a plan and scanning the inside to remember where people were located. This was turning out to be a much more fun evening than attending some famous gala!
