Chapter 197: Chapter 39: So I Cucked Lord Otto
After watching Yae Sakura happily leave, Serenade walked over to Kallen with a basin of warm water.
She helped Kallen remove her blood-stained nun's habit, then took off all her inner clothes as well.
Blood and some unknown substance were stuck to her body, making for an unsightly sight. Especially around her abdomen... it was clear a bullet had passed through, leaving a hole and other wounds that had yet to heal.
Despite all this time and so much blood...
Kallen still hadn't fully succumbed to death. Serenade couldn't help but marvel at this most powerful Valkyrie.
Truly deserving of Kallen Kaslana's reputation.
Serenade picked up a towel and began wiping Kallen's body. She continued until she had cleansed Kallen of grime and blood. Now, standing face-to-face with Kallen...
It was like gazing into a mirror, their mirrored selves were identical down to the last detail.
Body shape and size, skin tone...
Even skeletal structure and other internal features...
Not a single difference...
"Like looking into a mirror..."
After wiping down Kallen's body, Serenade retrieved a healing potion from her storage unit. She first applied some on Kallen's wounds. Then she took out another bottle and tried to feed her patient.
The unconscious girl refused to cooperate, though; no matter how Serenade tried, she couldn't get any of the elixir inside Kallen. She couldn't forcibly pry Kallen's mouth open without risking injury.
Serenade mulled it over and hit upon an idea...
She hesitated for about five minutes before steeling herself. Picking up the bottle, she took a swig first, then cradled the equally beautiful Kallen in her arms and kissed her. The elixir traveled from Serenade's mouth into Kallen's as they kissed.
In this manner, Kallen swallowed the medicine without protest.
Continuing this oral-to-oral feeding several times emptied the entire bottle into Kallen's stomach before Serenade finally put her down.
"I'm not sure if...that counts as myself kissing myself? But it didn't taste bad..."
And this way, I'm technically cuckholding Lord Otto, aren't I?
Who would have thought...I'd actually bask in cuckholding Lord Otto one day? I can hardly contain my glee!
But that's not enough. I wonder when I'll finally make my way to Europe...
That's where things will get truly thrilling!
The environment around Yae Shrine was idyllic, with the soothing sounds of trickling water creating a symphony that lingered in the air. Everything appeared to exist in perfect harmony.
Serenade and Yae Sakura meticulously cared for the unconscious silvery-haired girl named Kallen. Due to the severity of her injuries, it was not a matter of waking up within a day or two.
However... now it had been five days, and Kallen's wounds were almost fully healed.
She should be waking up soon, won't she?
"Mm..."
At that moment, the silver-haired maiden on the bed let out a pained groan. Her long, slender eyelashes quivered slightly before suddenly opening wide.
Her eyes were like the night's melody, as exquisite and clear as sapphires, a deep blue akin to the color of the sky.
"You're awake?"
A cool and pleasant voice spoke, as Serenade gazed gently at the girl on the bed.
Upon hearing this voice, the silver-haired maiden's shoulders trembled violently. She quickly turned towards Serenade, her face instantly freezing in shock.
Rubbing her eyes once more, Kallen looked again at the girl before her.
"How can this be?"
An exact replica of myself?
Kallen felt as if heaven was playing a cruel joke. Upon awakening, she found a girl who was her perfect twin, taking care of her.
This has to be a dream, right?
She eyed the girl warily, studying Serenade's features, which mirrored her own.
"I made this medicine myself," Serenade said softly, holding out a bottle to Kallen. "Drink it, and you should feel much better soon." She wore a benign smile, devoid of malice.
"..."
Kallen shrank back, gazing at the medicine with increasing anxiety.
She looked just like... a kitten freshly brought home from the shelter?
Observing her reaction, Serenade couldn't help but be amused by this peculiar thought. Despite now sharing the same appearance as Kallen, their personalities were completely different.
Suddenly, Serenade felt an overwhelming urge to take Kallen under her wing like a younger sister.
"Uh..."
However, seeing Kallen's wary stance, Serenade let out a soft sigh and took a sip of the potion, holding it in her mouth.
In a swift move, Serenade bent down and charged towards the silver-haired maiden, catching her off guard. Under Kallen's astonished and bewildered gaze...
Serenade confidently sealed Kallen's cherry-red lips with her own.
"!"
"mm..."
For a moment, Kallen's mind froze. As she felt the warm, soft texture inside her mouth, coupled with the burning breath of the girl who looked exactly like her, she couldn't help but turn beet red.
"Ugh... you..."
Kallen tried to struggle, but a tingling sensation spread throughout her body, leaving her completely weak and helpless.
Her thoughts became jumbled.
She... kissed me?
But we're both girls! Ah?!
And since I look just like her, could she be the daughter of my father from an affair outside his marriage?
Or maybe we're twins—sisters? Did something happen that made her abandon me, and now she's found me injured and taken me in?
Or... could this be some kind of plot by my enemies?
In a flash, so many thoughts raced through Kallen's mind...
Nevertheless... amidst the panic, Kallen swallowed the medicine administered by Serenade. She then felt a tongue touch her lips, sending her into a dizzying whirl. A charming blush spread across her face, and somehow, she suddenly felt rather comforted...
Then, she sensed the clothes on her shoulder being removed.
"What?! Wh-what do you think you're doing?!"
Kallen flinched, suddenly pushing Serenade away with a burst of strength she didn't know she possessed. She backed up several steps, glaring at Serenade—their mirror images—with a mix of anger and embarrassment.
Serenade's voice, crisp and melodious like a skylark's song, contrasted with her attempt to feign a fierce expression. However, paired with the adorable blush on her cheeks and the hint of tearful shyness at the corners of her eyes, it only made her look even more endearing.
"Don't move around; you're not fully healed yet."
Miss Kallen, silent, leveled a resentful glare at Serenade, much like a cat with its fur standing on end.
Suppressing a smile, Serenade continued, "Please don't misunderstand. I did that just to help you calm down, and removing your clothes was only to apply the medicine."
Though you spoke with such sincerity, I couldn't help but feel you were deceiving me. And earlier, was that truly meant to calm someone down?
Kallen was rendered speechless, still yearning to clarify many things.
"So, could you please remove your top and lie back?" Serenade repeated, jiggling the towel and healing ointment in her hand.
Hearing this request that made Kallen want to flee, the silver-haired girl regarded her with utmost caution. However, facing Serenade's utterly guileless expression and gentle smile, it was genuinely difficult to refuse.
Thus, despite her shyness, Kallen acquiesced.
Well... she must be my sister or younger sibling. Surely, such actions between sisters are quite normal...
"All... all right..." she murmured.
