"Kallen-nee, what's going on here? Who is she?" Yae Rin asked urgently, clearly puzzled.

"Rin, let's just... let's just say we're twin sisters!" Serenade thought for a moment before settling on this explanation.

"I see! So she's Kallen-nee's twin sister? I've never heard Kallen-nee mention having a twin, but... you two really do look alike!" Yae Rin seemed to accept this explanation a little better. After all, it was the only one that made sense.

While most twins aren't exactly identical, the possibility of having completely identical twins wasn't entirely impossible either.

After all, in this vast world, anything is possible.

"What's wrong with this sister? Why is she bleeding so much?" Yae Rin asked, looking concerned at Kallen in Serenade's arms. She seemed very weak.

"Is there anything I can help with?" Yae Rin asked, ignoring Serenade's advice. Instead, she picked up the Mosquito Honkai Beast and followed closely behind.

Yae Rin had already started treating the Mosquito Honkai Beast like a pet puppy. Although it initially struck her as ugly, after spending some time with it, she'd grown fond of its quirky charm. She found herself increasingly liking it, despite its odd appearance.

"Not right now. If I need help, I'll call you," Serenade said without turning around.

"Alright!" Yae Rin stopped bothering her sister and stood still, hugging the Mosquito Honkai Beast.

When Serenade carried Kallen back to her room and laid her down on the bed, she suddenly noticed that Kallen's grip on the black box had relaxed slightly.

Serenade carefully took another attempt, gently prying the black box from Kallen's grasp.

"Ai-chan, what's going on? Why can't I put it in the inventory?" Serenade, puzzled, sought guidance.

It made sense. Honkai, the embodiment of decay, was a force equivalent to or even surpassing civilization itself, representing the very awareness of the world. As an avatar of Honkai, being favored by its presence was only natural for this Herrscher...

Though somewhat disappointed, Serenade accepted this as an unavoidable limitation.

"Wait! Without its explicit consent, it can't be placed into the inventory? Does that mean... if the Twelfth Herrscher were to agree, I could store her in the inventory? Then, could I carry her to other worlds?"

And those warships and spaceships in the cosmos? Similarly... she could fully control them in an incredibly short time.

The current Twelfth Herrscher cannot fully utilize her powers.

Fifty thousand years ago, the Twelfth Herrscher could control all machines and humans in a city within minutes. Yet in the Sakurazan Chapter, she couldn't even fully control Yae Sakura.

Although Yae Sakura and Kallen played a role in this, it's more likely that the current Twelfth Herrscher is far weaker than her past self.

However, she couldn't just leave this dangerous Black Box in the storehouse. Serenade wasn't sure what to do. This box was too perilous.

One day, she would come out again.

Unless... someone could come along, just like Theresa had, to tame her.

But it was still several hundred years before Theresa's birth, and with history having changed, there was no guarantee that Theresa would even appear.

Kallen was still alive; perhaps Lord Otto couldn't use Kallen's genes to create others anymore?

All of this made things terribly complicated!

But now was not the time for such thoughts. Serenade placed the black box aside and looked at Kallen lying on the bed. Before treating her, she needed to clean Kallen's body first.

"Kallen, according to Rin, you were holding a twin sister who looks exactly like you... Is that the one on the bed?" Just as Serenade was about to move, Yae Sakura suddenly ran into her room.

She immediately noticed Kallen lying on Serenade's bed.

"Sakura, you're here..." Serenade turned to look at Yae Sakura, appearing very calm.

"She really does... look just like you, Kallen!" Yae Sakura stepped in, studying Kallen on the bed. Surprisingly, she truly was the spitting image of Serenade.

"Mm..." Serenade didn't speak, instead gazing at Yae Sakura and the Kallen on the bed. Originally... this Kallen should have been found by Yae Sakura, but now it had become her turn.

Is what I'm doing considered tearing apart their ship?

It makes me feel like a villain too...

Now that I'm Kallen too, I guess there isn't much difference between Kallen and Yae Sakura anymore.

"Need any help?" Yae Sakura glanced at Kallen on the bed. Whether it was because of her resemblance to Serenade or some other reason, she felt an instant connection to this little pig Kallen they had just met.

"All right, I've got it from here. If anything comes up, go about your business," Serenade said, taking the warm water from Yae Sakura.

She's so thoughtful, Serenade mused. Bringing warm water, what a good wife.

"Right. It's almost noon, I'll go prepare lunch." Yae Sakura nodded...

She cast one more look at Kallen on the bed, then glanced at the other Kallen facing Serenade... Two identical Kallens...

How blissful!!
