Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem

Chapter 360: Big Sister’s Hesitation

Savra moved her arms and legs slowly at first, testing her range of motion.

She twisted her waist, stretched her shoulders, then took a few quick steps.

"Hm…" she muttered, throwing a light kick and a punch. "With this suit, I feel lighter… more flexible. It's easier to move."

She also tapped her fingers against the material. "And the defense is better, too. This thing could take a solid hit."

As she moved, information about her new abilities flowed naturally into her mind.

She paused mid-step, her eyes widening slightly. "Zain… these abilities are amazing."

Zain leaned back with a faint smile. "Of course, they are."

Savra kept reading the details in her mind, nodding as she understood each one.

Zain spoke again. "And with this power, the ether in the Devil Nest won't hurt you anymore."

"Just like with me and Velra, this place will actually feed you."

Savra smirked, realizing what he meant. She could already feel it.

The protective barrier Zain had placed on her earlier was gone, yet she felt no harm.

The corrosive ether in the air felt normal now, almost refreshing.

She took a deep breath, and her body absorbed it naturally, converting it into [Infernal Demon Ether].

She grinned as she felt her strength grow. "Not bad… this really makes me stronger."

Zain sat back in his throne, his expression calm but his voice firm.

"Good. Now… can you bring me more? I'm out of ether, and I'm hungry."

Savra nodded without hesitation. "Yes, Zain. I'll head to the back and get you more food right now."

She turned on her heel and walked toward the kitchen, her steps quick.

On the way, she was already thinking which devil to prepare next for him.

Meanwhile, Zelia was still standing in the hall, watching quietly.

Zain shifted his gaze toward her. "Big sis… what will it be, then?"

"Savra's already been transformed. You're the only one left who hasn't."

Zelia's eyes lowered slightly. "It's not that I don't want to… but I'm hesitant."

Zain tilted his head. "What is it, big sis? You can just talk to me."

Zelia took a breath. "When you said you were from another world, my heart didn't feel at ease."

"Even if my face looked calm, inside… it wasn't."

"I kept telling myself you're the same, but deep down, I couldn't fully accept it."

"The thought that my little brother might have died…"

Zain let out a quiet sigh and pushed himself up from the throne.

Even with little strength left, he walked toward her.

He reached out and pulled her into a hug. "Big sis… remember? At night, you always stayed with me."

"I hugged you to help you calm down after Father's scolding."

Zelia's eyes widened slightly as the memories returned.

Those quiet nights, his warmth, his voice.

Zain continued. "Feel it now. I'm still the same Zain. Maybe I've changed a bit… but I'm still your little brother."

Zelia's lips trembled, and she let out a small sob, tears sliding down her cheeks.

Zain pulled back slightly, looking right into her eyes. "Has your heart eased?"

Zelia wiped her tears and gave a small nod. "…Yes."

A faint smile appeared on Zain's lips. "Then… do you want to be transformed?"

Zelia hesitated for only a second before nodding again. "Yes."

"Good," Zain said. "But you'll have to wait. My ether is finished. I need to eat more first."

Zelia nodded again. "Alright. I'll wait."

Before long, footsteps came from the hall.

Savra entered first, holding a large tray piled with cooked devil meat.

Velra followed, carrying a huge pot of soup that steamed and filled the room with a rich, wild aroma.

Savra set the tray down in front of him. "Here. Fresh and hot. Eat."

Velra put the pot beside it. "And this should go down easy."

Zain didn't bother with a spoon or knife.

He grabbed a chunk of meat with his bare hand and bit into it, tearing it apart with ease.

The juices dripped down his fingers, but he didn't stop to wipe them.

His [Heavenly Demon God] went to work immediately, breaking down the flesh, bones, and even the poisonous ether inside.

He swallowed and reached for the soup, lifting the entire pot to his mouth.

The hot broth slid down his throat, mixed with chunks of meat, and it instantly turned into [Heavenly Demon Ether] inside his body.

Savra crossed her arms. "You really eat like a beast when you're hungry."

Velra smirked. "A beast that gets stronger with every bite."

Zain just kept eating, alternating between meat and soup, until nothing was left but bones and an empty pot.

He set them down with a satisfied breath. "Good… that should be enough to start."

Zain then turned his crimson gaze toward Zelia. "Come here, big sis. It's time for your transformation."

Both Savra and Velra glanced at each other, surprised.

Savra tilted her head. "Zelia… you've decided already?"

Zelia nodded once, her face calm but her hands tightening slightly at her sides.

"Yes. I thought about it… I don't want to just watch from the side anymore."

Velra raised a brow. "Oh? And why's that?"

Zelia looked at each of them in turn. "Because I want to be strong enough to stand beside you all."

"Strong enough to protect Zain if the time comes…"

"And strong enough to make sure none of us are separated again."

Savra's smirk softened into a small smile. "Heh… so that's your reason."

Zelia nodded again. "I'm his sister. I want to walk with him, not behind him."

"And if that means becoming like you two… then so be it."

Velra grinned. "Good answer. Now all of us will be transformed… and truly be members of the Heavenly Demon Sect."

Savra crossed her arms, smirking again. "Then we'll be complete."

Zain leaned back on the throne, his voice low and certain.

"Once this is done, there won't be anyone who can touch us."

Zelia stepped forward, her eyes locked on him. "I'm ready."

Velra chuckled and gave her a pat on the shoulder. "You'll love it. Trust me."
