Chapter 357: Domain of Screams
Velra didn't stop after the boar.
One Supreme Rank devil might feed Zain for a short while, but she wanted more.
She wanted to keep a generous stockpile of meat for him and the rest of the Sect.
Her appetite for prey had only grown after testing her new powers, and she wanted to push them further.
It didn't take long before she came across her next opportunity.
Three Supreme Rank devils were now locked in a savage brawl.
The first was a massive, warty toad, its swollen body dripping with poisonous mucus that hissed when it hit the ground.
Every croak sent flecks of venomous saliva sizzling into the dirt.
The second was a hulking, winged tiger, its striped muscles rippling with raw physical power.
Blue fire crackled in its maw, shifted to icy mist, and again to molten lava.
It could unleash multiple elemental breaths at will.
The third was a sleek, black beast with no wings, yet it floated unnaturally above the ground.
Bolts of lightning danced across its fur, arcs snapping toward anything too close to it.
It was a thunderborne predator.
Velra's lips curled. "Perfect. Three in one… you'll all scream for me."
She stepped forward, and with a thought, her [Velvet Demon Zone] bloomed into existence.
The domain burst outward like a living wave, its black-and-pink ether warping the air.
In an instant, it swallowed all three devils, saturating their senses with her sadistic influence.
The reaction was immediate.
The toad's swollen body quivered violently.
Every thunder scorch and elemental burn on its flesh now felt like molten acid poured straight into its veins.
It gurgled and croaked in agony, the sound wet and ugly.
The winged tiger bellowed in rage, but its movements faltered.
Poison from the toad's mucus was already in its bloodstream, and under Velra's [Velvet Demon Zone], that venom now burned like liquid fire in every muscle.
The thunder beast snarled and thrashed midair, arcs of lightning snapping wildly.
Yet each spark that crawled across its skin felt like red-hot needles stabbing deep, mixing with the pain of claw wounds carved into its hide.
Velra's grin widened as her ether pulsed stronger thanks to the beast's scream. "That's it… more. Suffer for me."
The corrosive-pink ether swirled around her body like a living storm, tendrils curling outward and solidifying.
In moments, she had shaped it into a deadly arsenal.
A barbed, glistening net shimmered into existence, each strand laced with her venom, ready to burn and tear flesh.
Thick, spike-studded chains coiled like serpents, their hooks angled to rip scales and skin.
A heavier, rune-marked collar and restraint chains manifested for the black thunder beast, each link humming with her corrupt ether.
Velra tilted her head, smiling cruelly at the three trapped beasts.
"Hehe… now, be ready for a private session with your mistress," she purred, licking her lips.
The toad gurgled in panic, trying to back away, but the barbed net slithered toward it like a predator.
The winged tiger snarled, its claws sparking with elemental energy, but the spiked chains clinked menacingly, circling closer.
The thunder beast thrashed in the air, lightning crackling wildly, but the restraint chains snapped tight with a metallic hiss, anchoring it to the ground.
"Struggle," Velra said, her smile widening as she stepped forward. "The more you fight, the more it excites me."
The toad croaked in fury, spitting a glob of venom. Velra sidestepped effortlessly, laughing.
"Good. Keep trying. I want to hear you beg when you realize it's pointless."
She flicked her fingers, and the barbed net shot forward, wrapping around the toad with a wet, tearing sound.
Its muffled croaks turned into shrill, pain-filled screams as the barbs dug deep, pumping her venom into its body.
The tiger roared and lunged, but the spiked chains lashed across its back, ripping out tufts of fur and drawing blood.
It snarled, but the roar wavered, shifting into a guttural growl of pain.
Velra turned her gaze to the thunder beast, smirking.
"And you… I'll save for last. I want to see how long your lightning can hold before it turns into a whimper."
The three supreme devils writhed under her control, their suffering fueling her ether more and more with every passing second.

In the Heavenly Demon Mansion, Savra and Zelia sat in the main hall, waiting.
Zelia glanced at Savra. "Savra… after Velra comes back, Zain should recover, right?"
Savra smiled. "Of course. With the devils Velra brings, we'll cook a feast for him."
"With that much devil meat, and with his body that can absorb anything, his recovery will be fast."
Zelia leaned back slightly. "And after that… it will be your turn to be turned into his slave."
Savra grinned. "Yeah, of course."
She then looked at Zelia. "Why, Zelia? Are you not ready to be like us?"
Zelia hesitated. "A bit… yeah. I'm hesitant. Becoming my little brother's slave… I feel like I'm the worst big sister."
Savra leaned forward, resting her elbow on her knee. "Of course not, Zelia. 'Slave' is just a word, nothing more."
She tilted her head, her tone firm. "Whether you accept it or not, you'll always be his big sister. And you're a good one."
Her eyes narrowed slightly. "If it wasn't for your care, Zain might've turned his back on you long ago."
"But even after his mind fused with that Mo Tianheng, he still calls you his big sister."
Zelia's gaze dropped to the floor. "…You really think so?"
Savra nodded without hesitation. "I know so. And even if you became his slave, so what? You're still Zelia. No matter what changes, you'll always be his big sister."
Zelia crossed her arms slowly. "I'll… think about it. But first, I want to see how Zain changes your power."
Savra's lips curved into a smirk. "Fair enough. Just be ready. Once you see it, you might change your mind faster than you expect."
Zelia gave a small nod. "Yeah… I hope I do."
