Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 104: Dinner or Death Challenge

Dahlia walked beside Garion, glancing toward the restaurant door with a puzzled look.

"Master, why are we going to the restaurant now? The demonic boars haven't even been butchered yet?"

She frowned slightly. "Even if the restaurant's magic can butcher and cook them quickly, it still takes time."

Garion smirked. "Don't worry about that. I already prepared something special."

Dahlia narrowed her eyes. "It's not... vegetable dishes, right?"

Garion chuckled, shaking his head. "Of course not. I was just teasing you all earlier. Tonight's all about meat."

He paused, then added with a grin, "I've cooked something really delicious. A special recovery meal for everyone."

The disciples behind them froze. Their smiles faded instantly.

Rynor leaned toward his twin. "Did he just say... he's cooking?"

Rynar grimaced. "Yeah. And we've never actually eaten Master's cooking before."

Rynor frowned. "So is it good?"

Rynar shook his head in anger. "How would I know?"

Clara crossed her arms, tilting her head. "If it's anything like his 'special drinks', we're doomed."

Eliza sighed quietly. "Yeah. I drink those 'special drinks' every day… and every time, I regret it."

The other nodded in agreement, faces grim.

Dahlia turned and glared at them. "Stop complaining! Master's cooking is really delicious."

They all blinked in shock. "You've tried it, Senior Sister?"

Dahlia nodded. "Of course. The drinks he makes are a nightmare, but his real cooking is actually amazing."

Garion's grin widened, clearly amused. "You heard her. Now go on and eat."

The group hesitated for a moment before slowly walking into the restaurant.

As soon as they sat down, the restaurant's magic activated.

Plates began appearing one by one, floating smoothly from the kitchen to the tables.

The rich, meaty, and faintly spicy smell filled the entire room. Everyone's stomachs growled instantly.

Garion stood at the front, looking pleased. "Eat up, my disciples."

He spreads his arms wide, showcasing the foods.

"These are special recovery meals. High in protein and mana density... with a bit of special, extra flavor."

The disciples stared at the food, both amazed and scared.

The steaks were thick and sizzling, glowing faintly with red mana.

They smelled really good... but when their eyes moved to the bubbling crimson soup beside the steak...

Eliza frowned. "What the hell is this?"

Dahlia blinked, turning to her Master. "Master, what the hell are these?"

Garion grinned proudly. "Demonic Steak and Hell Broth."

The disciples froze. The room went silent for a moment.

Rynar muttered, "Why does every name he gives sound dangerous?"

Rynor groaned. "Anything that starts with 'demonic' usually ends in pain."

Clara sighed. "And 'Hell Broth'? That doesn't sound like a delicious broth. It sounds more like a broth for torture."

A few disciples whispered among themselves nervously.

"Senior Sister, are you really sure that Master can cook?"

Dahlia hesitated, her confident look faltering a bit after seeing the food.

"I... did eat it once. It was good then... but seeing it now, I'm also suddenly a little scared."

All of them... including Arden quickly frowned, hearing what Dahlia had just said.

"Senior Sister," Rynor said quietly, "you're the most senior one here... so, uh, can you go first?"

Dahlia frowned deeply, muttering. "All of you are really cowards."

She then looked down at her plate, sighing and whispering under her breath.

"Please don't kill me..."

She cut into the steak and took a bite. The moment it touched her tongue, her eyes widened.

"Hot! Spicy!" she shouted, waving her hand near her mouth.

The disciples winced, and Rynar snapped his finger. "I fucking knew it."

But before they could do anything, Dahlia kept eating and did not stop.

Bite after bite, she continued, making her face quickly red and her eyes watered, but she didn't stop at all.

Everyone stared in shock.

Rynor blinked. "How the hell is she still eating that demonic food?"

Clara leaned forward, panicking. "Is she okay?"

Eliza frowned, shaking her head. "I don't know, but she looks like she's suffering."

Then, Dahlia slammed her fist lightly on the table, yelling loudly.

"It's so hot! So spicy! But how the hell can it be so fucking good!"

The disciples' jaws dropped.

Garion smirked, folding his arms proudly. "Of course it's good. I cooked it."

Dahlia pointed her fork at him, coughing slightly.

"You... you're insane, Master! How dare you make this food so fucking spicy..."

Her eyes were red, her face flushed, but she still took another piece and shoved it into her mouth, groaning in half pain and half delight.

"But this... this is just incredible! I can't stop eating it!"

The others exchanged glances, unsure.

Rynor gulped and picked up his fork. "Well... if Senior Sister's still alive..."

Rynar sighed, picking his for up too. "Fine. If we die, we die together."

They both took a bite and a second later... both of them screamed. "SPICY!"

But then, like Dahlia, they didn't stop and kept eating.

Clara and Eliza followed reluctantly, and within seconds, the entire restaurant was filled with coughing and groaning.

Yet everyone kept eating like it was nothing.

Garion chuckled softly, shaking his head. "That's the spirit. Even your tongues are training now."

Dahlia squinted at him suspiciously as he picked up her bowl of Hell Broth. "Let's see if this one tastes any better."

She took a careful sip, and in an instant, her eyes widened. "What the?! How can this taste spicier than the steak?!"

The disciples were shocked, hearing that, and even Rynor tried to stop Dahlia.

"Senior Sister... don't! You'll melt your insides by drinking that magma soup!"

Dahlia ignored him and lifted the bowl high. She cannot even stop her own body.

"Screw it."

She drank the whole thing in one go and the moment she finished, her face turned bright red.

She slammed the bowl down hard, breathing heavily and then gasped, feeling so confused.

"Hot! So fucking hot! But... how can it be so damn delicious?! It's even better than the steak!"

Everyone stared in disbelief.

Garion smirked proudly. "Of course. Just like I said. My food is the best."

Dahlia pointed at him once again. "I tell you again... You're a crazy one, but... this is the best food I've ever eaten."

Garion laughed hard, smirking. "Don't think this dinner is all there is. There's another surprise waiting for you."
