Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 103: Garion’s Secret Recipe: Pain and Gain

Garion was now standing at the gate of God Gym. He was staring at the dark sky above the Demon Gate Island.

His hands rested behind his back as he exhaled softly, before smirking.

"It seems that I can't stay on this island any longer. If I want to spread our name, I'll have to step out into the vast world."

He tilted his head sluggishly, looking toward the direction of the forest Dahlia and the others went to, and smirking.

"Whoever you are... thank you for attacking us. If not for you, that new mission wouldn't have appeared."

He chuckled and turned around, heading back toward the restaurant section.

"But still... I can't go out alone. I'll need to take some disciples with me. The world has to see the strength of the God Gym's disciples firsthand."

He then stopped in front of the restaurant's door and sighed softly.

"But if I take all the strong ones with me, the rest will struggle to hold this place together."

A smirk then suddenly appeared on his face.

"It seems that I need to make them stronger and to do that... I'll need to train them even harder than before."

He headed toward the kitchen counter, pulling out a pile of freshly butchered demonic meat from his system storage.

"Not bad. Even dead, these things have more mana than simple beast meats."

He cracked his neck and rolled his shoulder as he took out some cooking utensils.

"Alright then... Let's see what I can make out of these good meats."

His knife moved fast as he sliced through each piece precisely, and as he cooked, his mind drifted to his disciples.

"They must have been fighting hard. They're probably covered in blood, bruised, and mud right now."

He smirked, setting his knife down and retrieving another utensil.

"They'd better come back in one piece... Dahlia too. That girl always overdoes it."

He grabbed a bowl and began to mix herbs and spices.

He mixed Crimson Pepperlead, Spirit Salt, and Beast Vine oil, and the aroma quickly grew stronger.

"Let's cook something heavy," he said, tossing the cut meat into a pan with a sizzle.

"They deserve something that'll make their bodies scream... and thank me at the same time."

The oil hissed violently as he flipped the meat, flames briefly rising from the pan.

He cooked fast, cutting, seasoning, and flipping in one smooth rhythm.

"Demonic Steak..." he muttered as he sprinkled Spirit Salt over the sizzling meat.

"Hell Broth..." he muttered as he dropped some demonic beast bones and herbs into the large pot.

The water in the large pot quickly glowed faintly red, which was why it was called Hell Broth.

He tasted the broth, then nodded in approval.

"Maybe a little extra kick... something that make their veins burn and their recovery faster."

He reached for a jar of red powder and dumped its contents into the pot, causing the water to bubble violently.

"Good. Something that'll make them cry in pain and thank me later."

He flipped another steak, steam rising, filling the whole restaurant with the delicious smell.

Garion leaned over the counter, watching the meat cook and smirking.

"When they get back, they'll eat this and recover twice as fast."

He turned to the pot, stirring the bubbling broth slowly.

"It's funny that back on earth I used to make protein shakes and some simple beef bone broth, but now I'm cooking unique food for my disciples."

He chuckled softly.

"Guess some things never change. Still feeding tired athletes, but younger and stronger ones now."

He moved the steak to a plate and wiped his hands on a towel.

He then grabbed the ladle and poured the steaming, glowing red broth into a bowl beside the steak.

"Perfect. A full recovery meal. High mana density, heavy protein, and insane spice. They'll hate it for a minute... but love it after."

He then turned toward the system.

"Alright. Use the restaurant function to copy this recipe and cook the rest for all of them."

[Processing...]

[Replicating meal... 102 portions in progress.]

The kitchen lights brightened slightly as mana flowed through the restaurant's equipment.

Pots lifted by themselves, knives moved through the air, and dozens of pans began to sizzle at once.

Garion crossed his arms, watching it with satisfaction.

"Heh... that's more like it."

Rows of plates began to appear along the counter, each one filled with the glowing meat and steaming red broth, perfectly identical to his own.

Garion smirked. "Good. Now let's see if my disciples can handle their reward."

He turned toward the main doors, looking out into the night.

"Hurry up, you brats, your dinner's waiting and almost getting cold."

He had barely finished speaking when he heard some footsteps, raising his eyebrow. "Already?"

They stumbled in one after another.

Their clothes were torn, faces sweaty, and most were covered in dirt and blood.

Some were limping, others leaning on each other for support.

About thirty of them had glowing green veins along their arms, clear signs of poison.

His eyes also spotted Dahlia, and unlike others, she wasn't injured at all.

Garion smirked. "It seems that you all handled those bastards pretty easily."

Dahlia blinked, surprised. "You knew about them, Master?"

"Of course," Garion said, grinning.

"I could sense them the moment they set foot on the island. But I believe that you all could handle it."

Dahlia puffed her chest slightly, proud. "Of course, Master. I'm strong."

Garion chuckled. "No doubt about that."

Dahlia gestured to the disciples behind her to bring the fifty Demonic Boars.

"We also brought something for dinner. The Demonic Boars we hunted and also... we bring other gifts."

The disciples then brought the four corpses and put him in front of Garion.

"These four corpses are Second Realm Cultivators' corpses. Can you turn them into cadavers later for study?"

She paused, glancing at the injured. "But first... the poisoned and wounded need help."

Garion walked over, inspecting a few disciples. He touched one's shoulder, using his mana to inspect the poison.

"Hmm. Mild toxin. Don't worry, I'll fix them later after we have dinner."

The disciples nodded weakly as they all went to the restaurant with Garion.
