'That's practically saying I will be your husband!' Xavier thought to himself.

'Wh-what do I do now? Should I just forcefully remove her arms? No, she might get hurt. But, what other option is there?' Xavier came up with a plan but immediately discarded it. He didn't want to mistakenly harm his self-proclaimed wife.

"Hehe~" Out of the blue, Alice started giggling, her previous demeanor vanishing as if it had never existed in the first place.

"I'm just kidding." Alice said in a playful tone as she released Xavier from her tight hug.

"..." Xavier had a deadpan expression on his face.

"After all, as husband and wife, we're bound to stay together forever." Alice said with an unsettling smile.
