Xavier's heart sank, realizing she was set on joining him, no matter how flimsy his excuses. He needed a new plan, and fast. "How about… I pick up the stuff we need, then come right back? That way, you can relax here with Jaffar."

The suggestion made her eyes narrow and her pupils resembled black holes, her lips pursing as she tilted her head. "You want to leave me behind?"

"No, no, just… I mean, I thought you'd like a break after your trip here." He forced another smile, hoping he sounded convincing. "Make yourself comfortable. I'll be back in twenty minutes, tops."

"No~ I don't wanna~" Alice cooed in a soft voice.

'Ugh! What do I do? I can't let her continue to boss me around like this. I know! Let's act a bit serious! That might just work.' Xavier inwardly nodded his head in agreement.

"Enough." Xavier said in a calm voice, his earlier demeanor vanished as if it never existed.

"Huh?" Alice raised an eyebrow in confusion. Wasn't he quite nervous and scared up until a second ago? How did his demeanor change so suddenly?

"That's enough. Follow me." Xavier uttered in a serious voice and he started walking.

"Eh?" Alice let out a cute sound of confusion. She couldn't wrap her head around how the situation did a complete 180. Just a minute ago, she was the one in control but now, the situation changed entirely.

"It smells good." Alice said before she took the cup and sipped on the coffee.

"It tastes even better!" Alice said taking a sip.

"Haah~" Xavier who sat on the other side of the table sighed. He looked at Alice and said.

"Tell me."

"Do I bleed? Yes, I do. Every month. Which means my body is ready to conceive your child~" Alice said with a perverted smile on her face.
