Chapter 34: Chapter 034: All the well-behaved Hufflepuffs
"Rita Skeeter? That reporter from the Daily Prophet?" Fred asked with a puzzled look on his face. "What does this have to do with her."
George added, "And we are not interested in her. She is destined to have unrequited love."
"That's such a pity." Kyle did not continue the topic, and passed between the two of them after a perfunctory sentence.
Lunch had already started at this time, and Kyle just wanted to sit there and taste the tender steak and pumpkin juice instead of standing at the door of the Great Hall like an idiot.
But Fred and George didn't think so, and they followed Kyle all the way to the Hufflepuff table.
"Although there is no evidence, I always feel that it was because of your presence that the Charms classroom exploded."
Fred pushed Cedric away and sat next to Kyle. He took a glass of pumpkin juice and took a big sip. Then he continued. "Why else did nothing happen before? As soon as you came here, If something like this happened, it must have been your influence."
Hearing this, Kyle felt his back sink, and he almost choked on the pumpkin juice.
What do you mean? What did he do? He was obviously always helping, so does he really have to blame him for this?
Kyle turned his head and raised his middle finger without saying a word.
But Fred turned a blind eye to this and still said to himself. "It's a pity that you are not in Gryffindor."
"We have asked." George said with a smile. "The first lesson for Gryffindor freshmen is Potions. If you were there, and with the cooperation of the freshmen, Snape would probably be the one who enters the Hospital Wing."
"Yes, it's such a pity." Fred put down the pumpkin juice in his hand and said regretfully. "If we can really send Snape to the Hospital Wing, you will become the whole Hogwarts hero!"
I don't know what Fred was thinking, but he, who was full of regret just now, suddenly became excited, and his whole body was trembling.
Fred was so excited that he didn't even feel Cedric tugging on his robe secretly.
"To be honest Kyle, I still feel that you shouldn't be in Hufflepuff. Gryffindor is your real home."
"I guess you are right, but Fred, George..." Kyle suddenly cleared his throat and said with a smile. "Why do you think the new students in Gryffindor will cooperate with me to deal with Professor Snape?" In my opinion, all the little wizards in Gryffindor are polite and well-spoken, and the Head of Gryffindor is kind, so they won't be so... well, unruly."
"What nonsense are you talking about, Kyle? Will an honest kid who obeys the rules be sorted into Gryffindor?" Fred was stunned for a moment, then raised his eyebrows and said. "Oh, by the way, I can't say that, I should say us just like adventure..."
"So... Mr. Weasley, is this the reason why you don't eat at your own House table?"
A cold, emotionless voice came from behind.
Fred and George's smiles suddenly disappeared, and they turned their heads to look behind them with difficulty.
"Professor McGonagall, when did you arrive..." Fred forced a smile and said dryly. "Well, I think you must have misunderstood something. I can explain it."
"No need, Mr. Weasley, I think I can completely understand what you are saying, and there is no misunderstanding. And you should be glad that it is me and not Professor Snape who is standing here."
Professor McGonagall's face was calm and looked no different than usual. "Because you disrespected the Professor, ten points will be deducted from Gryffindor, ten points from each of you."
Fortunately, it's just a point deduction.
Fred and George breathed a sigh of relief. The school had just started, and Gryffindor's hourglass was still very rich, but it was only twenty points, which was acceptable.
"In addition..." Professor McGonagall glanced at the twins and continued. "In view of your performance at the Sorting Ceremony, you two will be in solitary confinement every night for the next week."
Sorting Ceremony? They thought that the incident was over.
They may not care about the deduction of points. Still, confinement is different, not to mention being locked up for a week in a row and not allowed to go out at night for seven days. This is simply killing them!
The two of them had begun to despair.
"Professor, please..."
Fred and George looked at Professor McGonagall pleading, trying to awaken pity in her heart in this way.
It's a pity that Professor McGonagall ignored them at all, and his tone of voice didn't even fluctuate at all.
"Time starts at eleven o'clock in the evening. Go to Filch and he will take you to the Trophy Room. There is a roster there, which records the names and deeds of all outstanding students in Gryffindor since its establishment."
"You need to copy this roster completely until it is complete. Remember, each person must do it once, and no magic or magic quills are allowed, all must be copied by hand."
After Professor McGonagall finished speaking, she pointed in the direction of Gryffindor and said. "Now, Mr. Weasleys, hurry back to your tables!"
Fred and George, as if struck by lightning, quickly returned to Gryffindor's seat with their heads lowered, their faces full of despair.
Kyle also lowered his head, trying hard not to laugh. It was not until the twins left that he turned around and said. "Good afternoon, Professor McGonagall. It's nice to see you here."
Professor McGonagall's voice finally fluctuated a little, and she replied. "Good afternoon, Mr. Chopper."
"Just call me Kyle, Professor." Kyle smiled and said. "Have you had lunch? If not, have something here."
Cedric also reacted at this time and hurriedly moved to the side, leaving a spacious enough place.
Professor McGonagall's expression softened a little and said. "I'd love to, but unfortunately I've already eaten."
To maintain her majestic personality, Professor McGonagall usually comes to the Great Hall before lunchtime or stays directly in her office. She rarely eats with the little wizards.
"That's really unfortunate." Kyle sighed softly, and the other little badgers also cooperated with a disappointed expression as if they really wanted to eat at the same table with Professor McGonagall.
All Hufflepuff students are well-behaved.
Professor McGonagall looked at the scene in front of her, then compared it with the chaotic Gryffindor table next door, and a feeling of fatigue suddenly surged in her heart.
Very striking when compared.
Why are all the good kids in other Houses, especially Kyle and Cedric. Even if one of them is assigned to Gryffindor, it is very good.
That damn Sorting Hat...
