Chapter 327: Tell me.
The room was truly a luxurious one. It was spacious, the ground shrouded by a beautiful green carpet with thorns intertwined with branches of trees sensually designated all over it.
Each side of the walls was stamped with portraits of Neron and The Lady of Thorn, looking all loving and happy.
On the ceiling, there was a chandelier in the form of a blooming thorn, reflecting a soft but bright grey light across the floor.
In the middle of this sumptuous room was an enormous bed made of wood that shimmered with green light, covered in silky bedsheets, with a desk at its side.
On the bed, there were some… cuffs and also a short staff perfect for spanking.
Noah and his two siblings sat side by side in this room, each of them with their own chair.
Noah's chair was made of white-silver threads woven together, Asaemon's of flesh twitching like hungry maggots, and Aurelia's of golden wood that shimmered with an awe-inspiring glow.
They faced the chained and bleeding couple.
Neron looked at them with deep scorn and disgust on his face, his expression twisted into one of profound rage.
"You will regret all of this." He said, then fixed his heated gaze on Asaemon, "You know who I am. And you still dare to attack me?"
He chuckled coldly.
"Do you wish for death? Or do you think because of your status no one will dare to touch you?"
Asaemon was grinning as he heard Neron's words, then shrugged with complete indifference. "Maybe I will die, but you…"
His grin stretched sharper.
"…you are definitely going to die. No maybe. No perhaps. No 'if the gods will.'"
Lady of Thorn beside him quivered at the certainty dripping behind Asaemon's words. She looked at him, her eyes pleading, as she parted her bleeding lips, "W-why? Is it because I have rejected you?" She couldn't help but inquire.
They hadn't done anything to anyone.
They were just living their lives, so why were these two abominations here?
And who was the third one?
Her brain immediately paused on that thought.
'Third one…? Third abomination?' She immediately snapped her head toward Noah, finding him smiling like a devil, his sinister eyes locking into her yellow-grey ones.
He slowly raised his hand and put a single finger on his lips, telling her to stay quiet.
She looked around, and no one seemed to have noticed this exchange between them.
She shuddered.
Wings of fear fluttered inside her being as she realized the truth.
This man called Noah Vaelgrim was the third abomination.
Asaemon's voice pulled her away from her fearful thoughts, echoing with amusement inside her head,
"Well not really. Your husband told me some disrespectful things I couldn't accept. So I decided to kill him." He said with a beaming laugh before continuing.
"…well that was the initial reason. But it's no more. We are here because the youngest has some blood feud with your husband." He pointed at Noah, making him immediately the center of attention.
Noah's smile didn't waver under the sudden shift. Instead, it deepened as he locked his gaze on Neron.
"I have a question for you, if you don't mind me asking." He said, his voice deceptively polite.
Neron immediately frowned, sensing something wrong about all this. He stayed silent, glaring at Noah with scorn, refusing to answer.
Aurelia was watching all this with her usual calm, not saying anything.
Neron looked quite confident for a being in front of three abominations, but Noah could understand why.
'Luelle gives you this much confidence, huh.' He mused, finding it almost funny.
He turned his gaze toward Lady of Thorn and smirked, "You seem to love each other very much… can you bear the sight of her being… I don't know? Maybe cut into thousands of pieces?"
He said while holding his chin in a pensive manner.
Neron gritted his teeth, about to snarl, but Noah didn't give him the chance. He immediately appeared in front of Lady of Thorn who yelped in horror and fear as Noah touched her cheeks gently, almost lovingly — and that was exactly what made her recoil in dread.
"Your husband said cut into thousands of pieces is nothing much, not satisfying for him. But I thought, why not show him how much you love him?"
"Do you know how?" He asked.
She shook her head rapidly, body trembling.
Neron looked at this scene with anger boiling inside him like a hot kettle of water.
"LEAVE HER!" He shouted loudly, as he tried to approach Noah but only fell face-first because of his bindings, courtesy of Aurelia.
"Ouch! Must hurt, right? I put inside you one of my buddies to eat at your power. Like it?" Asaemon said as he raised his finger upward, showing a crimson leech shifting sluggishly around it.
Neron growled like a cornered beast.
"Do you mind if I open your chest, and show him how your heart beats only for him… even when I crush it down?" Noah continued, looking like a third-rate villain.
He didn't like it, but sometimes… sometimes you had to act like a true villain.
And indeed, as Lady of Thorn heard him, she snapped her head toward Neron, pleading with her eyes for him to cooperate.
Gritting his teeth until they cracked, Neron spoke, "What… what are your questions?" He uttered with difficulty.
Noah smiled and shifted his attention back to him.
"Klaus Worldborn and Orien Worldborn…" he said, making Neron's eyes widen, "do these names sound familiar?"
"How… how do you know them?" He blurted out.
Noah smirked darkly, "How are they doing?" He asked, ignoring his question.
Neron didn't want to respond, but with Noah's hand still on Lady of Thorn and slowly sliding down toward her throat…
"Good…" Neron scowled.
"You know, the two of them have taken something very important to me. Something that even if I have managed to take it back…"
He paused, his words carrying a dark, angry edge.
"…it isn't the same anymore."
He stood up and approached the fallen Neron.
"Tell me, what is the thing they love the most?"
"What is the thing they hold so dear in their hearts that taking it from them would be more painful than even killing them?"
He paused, Aurelia's and Asaemon's faces turning cold and dark as they felt the intense emotion of anger thundering through Noah's whole chest.
"Tell me…" he spoke again, the whole room detonated in bursts of deafening explosions, as his simple voice tore apart reality itself, causing splintered rocks to fly all around them.
Lady of Thorn shivered.
Aurelia and Asaemon stayed silent, watching.
Neron was shaking as Noah's eyes bored deep into him while he finished his words,
"…how can I slaughter all of you in the most painful way possible?"
