Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 326: Wretched Worms

Lady of Thorn shuddered at Noah's mischievous voice as she tried to take a step back, away from him.

But Noah was still holding tightly her two hands like a lover — as if unwilling to let her go — but the two of them knew better. Lady of Thorn would have ripped apart her two arms just to get as far away from this smiling monster if she could.

But her brain had been deeply wounded, a part of it bent like twisted steel. Her eyes were hazy, unable to distinguish between objective reality and imagined reality.

Blood flowed through her whole body like a cascade of crimson, plunging the ground into a shroud of lamentable gore.

She was a hair's breadth from dying. And she knew, if Noah struck her with his fate ability, then her death would be permanent. At that thought, she couldn't help but shudder in dread.

Her heart brimmed with fear for the smiling bastard in front of her, his face ridiculously beautiful even with her blood drenching his features.

"W-Who… who are you?" she stammered with her splintered lips.

Noah held her fearful gaze for a brief second before he parted his bloodied lips, his voice holding a note of amusement.

"Noah Vaelgrim."

The sound of destruction around the world started to lessen. The unstable and cracking space began to slowly repair itself. Time seemed to reappear again, taking its normal course.

The few surviving mortals sat there on the cracked ground, surrounded by the shredded rubble of their homes. Their eyes rose to the sky, questioning the fairness of the world.

But they should have known better.

This was a wicked universe where the strong had the right to do anything they pleased… simply because they were strong. Even if it meant destroying an entire realm just to kill a single person.

Yes, it was villainous, or simply unscrupulous.

The siblings should have thought better than to discard the lives of those mortals, should have tried to limit their fight so that they would be safe.

Why not?

If they had wanted, they could have done it easily. But the issue was, neither of them thought about it.

And you couldn't blame them.

They had been divine for so long, holding such boundless power, that there were just some things you stopped paying attention to.

Like the lives of miserable mortals who could be erased with only a snort.

It was the bitter truth.

And as Noah stood weightless high in the air amidst the crimson-stained sky, listening to their pleas, looking at their tears of blood shimmering down their cheeks and feeling anguish and hatred flare like incandescent fire inside their beings… he couldn't help but shake his head lightly in misery and pity.

With his eyes, he could already see some special ones among them, hearts burning hot with vengeance, carrying the seed of power to become a true nuisance to him and his siblings.

He didn't know what to do with them. He would have loved to kill them directly and take hold of their souls under his control…

'But that would have been too unjust, right' He mused with a slight chuckle before turning his head to the right, sparing a glance at his sister Aurelia.

"What do you think about it?" he asked directly, not even bothering to explain the meaning behind his question.

But Aurelia didn't need it. Her own eyes were glowing searing gold, making the very space in front of her distort and shimmer in dread.

She observed silently, then spoke: "What do you wish to do?" she asked.

Noah tilted his head in an inquiring manner, his shoulder-length silver hair brushing softly against his face, giving him a sudden unholy beauty that even made Aurelia pause a little, caught by the sight of Noah's face.

If Noah noticed her expression, he didn't show it, his own expression unmoving.

Aurelia took hold of herself after a moment, inwardly feeling a sense of relief that Noah hadn't noticed.

'What's wrong with you!' she berated herself, ashamed to have acted like this.

Sighing to gather her emotions, she explained her previous words more clearly: "I asked what you wish to do to them…"

"…because we will do exactly that." she said with a shrug.

"It doesn't matter if they grow enough to become an issue to us. Well, even 'issue' is too big a word. They would be, at best, some wretched worms trying to stand against primordial serpents just because they can slither."

She fixed her immaculate golden eyes on his white-threaded runic ones,

"And they would be shredded into a cascade of spilled organs, blood, muscle and flesh with our fangs if they ever dared."

She paused, letting her words sink deep inside Noah's head.

"All that to say… whatever you choose, it doesn't matter." she finished, then waited for Noah's answer.

And his answer came fast.

Noah only asked out of courtesy, mindful of his sister. After all, he didn't know her well enough yet to predict her actions.

But truthfully, he really didn't care that much about any of this.

True he felt pity, but he knew better than letting his emotions uncontrolled.

So without waiting, he raised his right hand at eye level, then clenched it. A cataract of invisible threads boomed out through the healing sky of the realm and wove themselves into a vast tapestry of threads.

Even Aurelia didn't see anything.

This was Noah's Providence. It could be seen only by him.

He raised a finger and started to slice some threads as if cutting ropes with a scissor.

Across the realm, people started to drop dead, their bodies evaporating like mist under a howling wind, their very memories erased from reality.

No one would remember them… except Noah, and Aurelia who was strong enough to retain her memories of them.

But that didn't lessen her shock as she sensed what happened. She snapped her head toward Noah, eyes wide.

Noah spared her a soft smile,

"I hate loose ends," he breathed as his hand passed through his silky silver hair, pulling it back.

"Anything can happen in this universe, so better to end things thoroughly to avoid unwanted consequences later."

Aurelia nodded, understanding clearly.

After that, they disappeared from the sky and reappeared inside a vast luxurious bedchamber where Lady of Thorn and Neron were indeed bound, blood still pouring from their bodies.

Asaemon was sitting before them, cross-legged on a chair made of twisted and mangled flesh.

Sensing the arrival of his siblings, he snapped his head toward them eagerly, before a beaming voice spread through the enclosed room.

"About damn time!"
