Old Madam Yu was not a foolish woman. She knew her sister well enough to realize that she was here for some reason. After all, more than fifty years had passed since she last saw this woman and all of a sudden, Yu Sa was trying her best to stick close to her.

Either she ran into some trouble or she couldn't return to her village again. These two reasons must have driven Yu Sa to take refuge in her village but Old Madam Yu was not willing to let her stay. She was not going to let Yu Sa think that she could stay here and take advantage of her granddaughter.

It was one thing that Yu Sa had taken advantage of her but Yu Dong, she would not allow that to happen!

With a stern expression, Old Madam Yu stared at Yu Sa's family before saying, "My granddaughter does not raise useless people in her family. Even if you are old or young, you need to work hard. If you cannot work hard then there is no food or clothes waiting for you in this house."

"You…are you joking with me?" Yu Sa thought that Old Madam Yu was only saying such things to scare her. After all, how could Yu Dong who was this rich ask her family members to work hard? Shouldn't they all sit back and enjoy a satisfied life?

Yu Sa couldn't help but say, "You have so many servants and so much wealth, why do you still need to work hard?" As she spoke she did not forget to look at Old Madam Yu suspiciously.

Old Madam Yu curled her lips. Even though Yu Sa did not tell the reasons for her sudden visit, Old Madam Yu understood that this woman was here to leech off Yu Dong along with her family!

Back then she pushed her out of the house and did not even let her take a few pairs of clothes, saying that it would be worn by her daughters. If not for the fact that Old Madam Yu was already wise enough to sew a few pockets inside her clothes and save some coins. She would have left with nothing in her hands.

And now that she was living a good life, Yu Sa wanted to share the same. How could there be a good thing like that!?

She sneered and stated, "Don't look at the wealth that we have, if we did not work hard how would we have such good days? My granddaughter just like me had nothing in her hands when she started, she had risen from the dust before establishing such a large business."

"And she doesn't like anyone sitting at home and waiting for food. Look at the house everyone unless you are incapable of working, you have to go out. Even I, at my age, need to go to the farm and work."

Of course, Old Madam Yu was lying, she only went to the rice fields along with the wheat fields because she could not sit still.

However, she did not want Yu Sa and her family to think that they could sit back and eat.

She added subtly, "This meal. I have used my share to feed your family, Elder sister. I hope you liked the meal."

'To hell with liking the meal!' Yu Sa suddenly felt that the meal in her mouth was not as delicious as she had thought it was earlier. She did not know that she would have to work even after coming so far.

Inside Chen Mi's room, the mers were also worried. Chen Mi sipped on the milky white fish soup and sighed heavily. Today he was supposed to have a wonderful time feasting on the seafood that his wife had left behind but now!

"No they aren't," Shen Li coaxed his son who was sitting in the twin carrier seat. Yu Dong had asked Mother Chen to make this especially for their sons such that he could feed them without any problem. He scooped a spoonful of milk and helped Dou Dou to drink it.

Once his eldest son drank milk, he turned to Feng Feng who slurped his milk in one go.

He turned to look at the rest of the mers and then explained, "Did you not see their luggage? Anyone with one glance can tell that they are here to stay forever. Most probably they ran into trouble and ended up running here."

As he spoke, his face could not help but scrunch up. He was afraid that Yu Sa and her family might bring something troublesome to their house. That family seemed restless at one glance!

Especially that young mer who did not speak much but continued staring here and there. Because he was not taken care of by Yu Sa and Ming Sheng, that mer did not say anything and was rather calm but Shen Li had seen such mers in the village.

They were calculative and restless and stirred up sh*t every now and then.

He was worried that he not only had to take care of Yu Sa and Ming Sheng but even guard against that mer who had little to no space in his family.

His eyes flickered as he sighed, "I hope Dong Dong returns soon."
