On the other side in the guest pavilion, Yu Sa and her family members were wrought with slight worry. They thought that this house was under Old Madam Yu and thus came running after selling everything but it was another thing if Yu Dong was the one who owned the house.

If she and Old Madam Yu separated and the latter was only letting Old Madam Yu live in the house because she was old and had nowhere to go then it was going to be troublesome.

"Wife, what are we going to do now?" Ming Sheng asked worriedly. He was anxious and scared, they had nowhere to go now. If Yu Dong pushed them out of the house, what would they do?

"What can we do?" Yu Sa said with a grimace. "Other than ignoring everything staying stuck in this house is our only option. It's not like Yu Dong would kick us out, right? No matter what she is our junior. She needs to listen to us even if she doesn't want to!"

Yu Sa was banking on the fact that Yu Dong was their junior and would not be able to do anything too extreme. At most, she would fight with them but it was not like she would starve or beat them right?

Yu Binghuan and Yu Rongsa glanced at one another. Yu Rongsa then said to Yu Sa, "But I heard that Yu Dong killed the woman who tried to attack her village. Do you think a woman like her would stay quiet when we take advantage of her?"

"Those were all rumours. At most Yu Dong would have fought with them and given them a few hits," Yu Sa did not believe that Yu Dong would have chopped the necks of those women. She firmly believed that it was the villagers who exaggerated the rumour and nothing else.

"That's right," Yu Qinian who was already seeing a wonderful life in front of her, did not want her grandmother to be scared off by Yu Rongsa and chimed in immediately. "How can she kill someone what about the law and order then? Not to mention Grandmother and Mother are her elders, there is no way Yu Dong would raise her hand, right?

If she does then we would run out and make a ruckus, telling everyone that she was hurting us."

This was what Second Madam Yu asked her and her family to do. She told them that Yu Dong would certainly try to make them leave, so instead they needed to make sure that they would push her in a corner and make her accept them.

Once her reputation was threatened then Yu Dong would certainly not fight with them. She would ask them to come back and even treat them better.

Yu Sa also calmed down after hearing Yu Qinian's words. She nodded and said to her family, "You all need to just focus on ignoring whatever they say, every time Hongmei or anyone else asks you to leave just act as if you have no idea what they are talking about. Remember that we have nowhere to go now, if you let them get to your head then we are going to live on the street."

The rest of the family agrees, Yu Lang and Yu Xing who were Yu Sa's daughters.

Soon, it was lunchtime and Yu Sa with her family marched down to the main building the second she and the rest of the family smelled something good.

"Hongmei, is the food ready?" Yu Sa acted as if she was not a guest and sat down in the main seat of the head of the family. She then turned to look at Chen Mi who was cooking in the kitchen and frowned before scolding him, "You what are you dilly-dallying for?

Move your hands faster can't you see the women of the house are getting starved." She then snapped her fingers and ordered, "Faster, do it faster!"

Chen Mi's face turned red. It had been a very long time since he was treated like this and he almost dropped the ladle in the pot but then Old Madam Yu spoke up, "He is my grandson-in-law, Elder sister. Not yours, I have no problem with him and …can you get up? You are sitting in my seat."

Old Madam Yu's attitude was firm. She knew that Yu Dong respected her husbands a lot and would not like it if someone were to disrespect them.

Yu Sa curled her lips, she stated, "I am just telling him to work quickly. As a mer, he should have placed the dishes on the table before people sat down."

"He and the rest cooked all morning while taking care of the children," Old Madam Yu stared down at Yu Sa waiting for her to move her butt. "Not to mention, it's still an hour early. We usually eat around two in the noon, however, my grandson-in-law was kind enough to cook something for you as you came from far away."

In short, Old Madam Yu was telling Yu Sa to keep her mouth shut and not throw orders willy-nilly when she and her family did nothing but laze around all morning.

Yu Sa on the other hand looked at Old Madam Yu with a shocked and confused look on her face. She then moved to the side with Old Madam Yu looking down at her. Though she wanted to say something more, her belly was rumbling with hunger. She then turned to look at her grandsons-in-law and sons-in-law, who nodded and rushed inside the kitchen.

They picked up the meat and the egg dishes leaving the vegetables on the aisle for Chen Mi to pick.

"Why did you not tell us to help, Brother Mi?"

"There is no need for you to be this shy, Ah Mi,"

The mers said to Chen Mi before snatching everything that was on the aisle only leaving a bowl of fried eggplants with marinated sauce.
