(Editor's note: Apologies for the misstatement in Chapter 645. It was the Water Style: Giant Shark Bullet Jutsu that was nearing a breakthrough, not the Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, which will require another month to advance.)

At the mastery level, the Water Style: Giant Shark Bullet Jutsu didn't appear all that different on the surface—it still took the form of a large shark.

However, Seimei could distinctly feel that its internal stability had improved by leaps and bounds.

This enhancement meant it could now absorb much stronger jutsus.

And as if to prove its power…

In the distance, the Shadow Clone saw the shark missile speeding toward it. It quickly gathered chakra and unleashed its own jutsu:

Previously, the jutsu had some notable flaws. But Seimei had now managed to overcome those to a significant degree.

Additionally, the efficiency with which the shark utilized absorbed chakra had increased dramatically.

For example, after swallowing the fireball, the shark's size grew noticeably larger—almost resembling a massive, real-life shark. Its presence alone exuded a menacing pressure.

Although offense wasn't the primary purpose of this jutsu, its enhanced attack strength was certainly a welcome improvement.

Furthermore, the breakthrough to the mastery level gave Seimei a deeper understanding and control of Water Chakra. His grasp of both Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation had reached new heights.

In terms of chakra control, his proficiency jumped by roughly 1,000 points, allowing his progress bar to surpass the critical 60% threshold.

This improvement slightly increased his efficiency when training other skills.

However, since it wasn't a direct level-up, the boost wasn't particularly pronounced.

As for the second aspect…

The deeper understanding of Water Chakra caused another of his jutsus—Water Style: Exploding Water Colliding Wave—to break through its mastery limit. Its proficiency was no longer Lv7 (0/0) but had advanced to Lv7 (1/20000).

In other words, it could now continue leveling up.

Moreover, it had evolved. It was no longer Water Style: Exploding Water Colliding Wave but had become Water Style: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave—an A-rank jutsu!

Initially, Seimei had planned to find a way to acquire this advanced jutsu after dealing with the threat posed by Danzo.

But now, it seemed that wasn't necessary anymore.

Seimei formed seals once again and unleashed the Water Style: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave.

However, unlike Kisame Hoshigaki, Seimei couldn't breathe underwater using gills. As a result, he couldn't sustain this jutsu for long periods, which limited its full potential.

With that thought, Seimei abandoned the idea of allocating resources to the Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave.

What about the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken?

After half a month of practice, its proficiency had reached Lv9 (53,581/100,000), leaving over 46,000 points to advance to Lv10.

If he allocated the 87,000 chakra points to this, he could advance within approximately 18 days.

However, it was clear that his battle with Danzo couldn't be delayed that long.

Thus, it wasn't particularly meaningful either.

This left only the Chakra Cloak.

After half a month of practice, its proficiency had improved from Lv8 (18,200/50,000) to Lv8 (31,500/50,000).

Under the original training schedule, it would take another 20 days to advance to Lv9.
