Gravity Falls: The One That Has To Fix The Timeline

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: I thought You Were Just A Triangle

*YAWN*

" Hey! Dipper pass me the remote! " Screamed out Stan while his body sunk deeper and deeper into his sofa. Dipper let out an annoyed grunt from the kitchen, as he hurried walked towards Stan's voice.

" It's right next to your foot. Can't you just- "

" No! Get it for me. " Yelled Grunkle Stan cutting off Dipper. Dipper could only let out a defeated sigh as he walked over towards Stan grabbing onto the remote directly next to his foot and handing it to him.

" Finally it's about time you do something useful...But, cut some firewood outside or do something besides sitting in the attic all day. " Dipper swallowed his spit, before responding." Well, what's Mabel and Soos doing- "

" They are already outside enjoying life, go do anything kid. Make some friends or something. " Dipper dropped his shoulders and headed towards the door with a defeated look. Slowly he creaked open the door and walked outside...

As Dipper began to cut firewood, on the other side of the dense forest, stood a small figure glaring down at a journal, his eyes filled with a desire. His fingers twitched eagerly, his white hair flowing in the gentle gusts. As he began to cackle, his pupils scanning the opened journal.

In his fingers was a picture of Grunkle Stan with his eyes crudely X'd out.

" Stan Pines. I've got you now. Once I finish the preparation...Your secrets are as good as mine. "...

Chirp Chirp Chirp

Walking through a muddy path, two figures, a small girl and a man, walking side to side, laughing heartily. Before one of them spoke.

" Hey Mabel, what do you think Dipper's doing? " Asked Soos, Mabel simply shrugged her shoulders as she spoke her voice fueled with bitterness.

" Probably in the attic, reading that stupid journal... Seems to be the only thing he wants to do now. " This response made Soos shoot his head down surprised, catching Mabel off guard who looked at him concerned.

"W- What did something fly in my hair? "

" Oh, no I've never seen you get so mad before. " Mabel quickly scoffed at the notion, rolling her eyes, as she kicked at pebble skipping it across the path.

" Tsk right. You should have seen when Waddles ate my... " Right as Mabel was about to finish speaking, the path she and Soos were walking on, suddenly split going two separate directions, making both of them stop. " What should we do? " Asked Mabel but oddly, when she said this, her eyes seemed hazy like her mind was filled with other thoughts.

" I don't know maybe we should split up and go different directions- "

" That's a dumb idea. Go in different directions. Tch."

" I'm sorry Mabel, I didn't mean to make you mad. " Responded Soos while holding up his hands. Mabel quickly looked up at him with a look of panic on her face.

" Oh no, I wasn't talking about the path, I'm sorry Soos my mind was on something else. But still, I don't think we should split up."

" Yeah it was a dumb idea, but I guess we should go left. " Said Soos with sweat dripping down his face. Still nervous that he upset Mabel. Mabel nodded, as she and Soos began to walk down the left path.

Their footsteps echoed out rhythmically, filling the awkward silence between the two. They were once laughing heartily and now. Not a single word was said between one another.

Step

Step

Step

They're walking turning from a few seconds to several minutes. Until abruptly Soos stopped on a dime and began to glance around the forest baffled. Mabel looked at him, as he spoke. " Mabel, did you hear a voice speaking? "

" No? Maybe you heard that bird. " Responded Mabel pointing up at a bird that had recently flown off a tree branch, the bird flapped his wings, once, twice, and then a third time until its motion completely seized, Mabel looked at the hovering bird, her pupils dilating, her index finger began to twitch rapidly before her body became motionless, still pointing up into the sky.

Throughout the forest, everything was frozen. Soos, Mabel, and Dipper who was halfway through a swing using an axe. The birds were frozen, the worms digging in the dirt, motionless. Everything in Gravity Falls was frozen in time... Except for three things. Sitting on a rock looking down at the massive lake was Dale.

Watching the countless amount of fish breaking through the surface of the water, before abruptly the splashing fish stopped mid-air.

" What the hell? " Said Dale pushing off the rock, standing up straight. His mind racing before his brain clicked...

Pov: Dale

Time froze? Why would time... Did Bill Cipher- Crack

The sound of quick cracking, flooded my ears, as the ground underneath began to tremble incredibly, the unbendable rocks I was standing on turning into mere gravel, as pebbles floated into the air, the once gentle breeze turned harsh. Causing my hair to tussle in the wind.

Did he unfreeze time just to make an entrance? Well, I guess you would expect this kind of entrance from a god- *WARP*

The air in front of me started to crudely twist around, affixing into one another, as the shape of a triangle started to develop, followed by a singular eye and the bright glowing color of yellow... and finally a tophat.

A powerful gust of wind slammed into me, sending my feet sliding back, dragging through the newly created gravel, as a voice rang out to me.

" The name is Bill Cipher. Nice to meet you. Flaky."

Flaky? What type of name is flaky? Did he mistake me for another person? I stared at him confused as he began to float around me, glaring at me intensely.

" Don't give me that stupid face. I know your name is not Flaky, Dale. It's just a nickname, no need to get worked up about it. " A creepy laugh followed suit from his comment, as he stopped directly in front of me, his pupil mere millimeters away from my body. " But, you should be honored, I left Gideon just to talk to you. "

So, Gideon did summon him. I'm guessing that's what the time rift that time patroller was looking for. Gideon found the journal earlier than he was meant to.

" Whose Gideon? "

" Don't act dumb with me Flaky, I know you're special. You see I'm a being, that knows all, that's seen all. And yet, I know nothing about you. It doesn't help you got that nifty unicorn necklace either. Sure you might of 'Protected' yourself from me, but it also gave you away. No mere human would go out of their way to find a unicorn. "

He's been watching my actions. I figure that, but still, it's good to have confirmation.

" But I don't want to waste, well not your time, I guess your faith is a better term Flaky, I'm sure you have millions of plans running through your mind right now. Not like it matters, but still I don't know who told you about me. Whether it was Timebaby, or someone else. Just know I will be watching you. VERY CLOSELY"

Bill's body abruptly shot up into the air floating several feet above me

" Sorry for the brief convo Flakly, I didn't want to keep Gideon waiting too long. If you ever want to sā“š“®š“Ŗš““ Ī±š—€Ī±š—‚ā‚™, I'll be here just for you Flakly... Also, remember to buy GOLD! "

In a single flashing light, Bill Cipher's body flickered, disappearing entirely, and yet the forest around me was still frozen. I'm guessing until he finishes his agreement/contract with Gideon, the time will stay frozen.

I also assume he couldn't freeze Gideon due to him being the one who summoned him. Meaning, I got pretty lucky...Umm, well it's time for me to rush to Stan, isn't it? Great and here I thought I was doing a good job keeping the timeline in check...
