Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire

Chapter 375: The Holy Dragon Heir's God-Slaying Stratagem (Part 2)

"I wonder what a true Pure-blooded Titan looks like?"

Even though Noah was extremely curious, he couldn't satisfy this curiosity in a short amount of time.

"After the transformation, come see me on the Alviss Continent."

Sorlon's condition had stabilized, and seeing this, Noah gave a word of advice, left a coordinate in his consciousness, and then withdrew that intention.

...

"Your Majesty Noah, we have completed the full conquest of the Flame Sun Sect Country; all temples have been destroyed, and the legion is without a target. Please issue orders."

When Noah withdrew his intention and focused on the present, the figure of the Fairy Queen Lu Tixiya came into view, reporting the final results of this war.

"All battle groups, rest on the spot and stand by at any time. The war is not over; this is just the beginning."

Although a True God's Sect Country had been destroyed, Noah did not intend to stop there because his fury had not been vented.

Indeed, losing a Sect Country in the Material Realm would be a significant loss for any Divine, but it was just a major loss, not touching the essence.

The Flame Sun Sovereign, whom Noah targeted first, apparently had multiple fields of faith pasture, and the Sect Country was merely one of them.

Thus, Noah's act of destroying a field of faith, while it enraged that Divine, was not unbearable. If the Sect Country were truly extinguished and faith severed, he should come down to stop Noah and not fight to the death.

But he didn't. When Noah destroyed the Capital City of the Sect Country, that Divine simply became silent, clearly having accepted the loss in this plane and chosen damage control.

The Flame Sun Sovereign accepted it, but Noah could not accept merely destroying one Sect Country and massacring hundreds of thousands of devout followers, was not enough to shake a Divine's Immortal foundation.

Given this, what revenge was there to speak of?

However, when Noah's orders were passed down, they instantly caused a lot of reactions in the army,

as the Dragon-men who survived to the end of the war and gained many military achievements naturally hoped the war could continue, cheering joyously for it.

But many Dragon Lords hoped this Holy Dragon Emperor would stop at this point. In their eyes, such a bloody act of revenge against a Divine was enough. Continuing to press could lead to unpredictable consequences.

"Father, do you intend to continue attacking the Flame Sun Evil God's faction?"

Noah's eldest son, Iliad, upon learning his father did not intend to end the war, came to ask.

"What? Do you, like some of the lords under my command, think I should end the war here? Think that my revenge on the Divine should stop here?"

Noah looked down at his most gentle-natured son, with no expectations, ready to listen to what he had come to say.

"No, Father. I indeed had thoughts of stopping you from waging war, but before coming here, I had a discussion with Terra. He changed some of my views. I think your decision is correct."

"Oh? What did he say that changed your mind?"

Noah became somewhat intrigued, asking with keen interest.

"Even if you stop the war now, the Flame Sun Evil God will not negotiate with you. It doesn't seek peace; it only wants to kill you and us."

"Now that's my offspring."

Noah appreciatively nodded. Those wishing he would end the war, in his eyes, were short-sighted and foolish. To think of stopping when the war reached this level shows they want to stop, but the other party doesn't.

Having already stabbed at a Divine's faith foundation, the only option was to continue until destroying its immortality, making it fall from the stars.

"Continue."

"The Evil God views us as mortal enemies; there is no possibility of reconciliation. Either we are completely destroyed by him, or we sever his faith.

So, we must fight, only war, until the day the stars fall and the Divine Country shatters!"

"Hahaha, not bad, such a vision makes sense."

Noah was delighted, but amidst such joy, his tone shifted,

"But you are my eldest son; merely seeing these things isn't enough. This is basic. You came to see me; do you not have any constructive suggestions?"

"I have some vague ideas."

"Then let's hear it."

Noah's gaze at his eldest son changed considerably. Although gentle and compassionate, he could accept others' opinions and change his viewpoint.

His will was resilient, but he wasn't stubborn. He swiftly corrected himself when recognizing his shortcomings.

"Father, do you now see the Divines as enemies?"

Upon hearing Noah, Iliad did not respond but rather questioned back.

"It's not that I see the Divines as enemies; it's that no Divine now can accept my existence."

Noah corrected him.

A ruling Monarch capable of destroying a Divine's Sect Country; which Divine reliant on secular faith could accept and accommodate such an existence? A broad mind is not enough.

"Your thinking is incorrect."

When Noah finished speaking, Iliad stated bluntly.

"Then tell me, what is incorrect?"

The unparalleled Golden Dragon was not angered by his offspring's offensive speech.

"You cannot view Divines as a whole. Divines have never been united; they are dispersed, opposing, and of different factional strata."

"So, what is your suggestion?"

Noah lowered his head, having a different attitude towards this son than before.

"The enemy of my enemy might be turned into a friend, or at least gain some help even if not won over."

Iliad's thoughts became clear, his eyes gradually bright; he indeed had a kind heart and embraced all beings, except for an Evil God wanting to kill his father.

His kindness and compassion were not cheap; the demise of life was regrettable, but from the ashes ground to dust could emerge more brilliant prosperity,

"The Flame Sun Sovereign is indeed a True God, yet specifically wields a portion of the Divine Position [Sun], the most dangerous part, also possessing Medium Divine Power, an unsuitable match for such a potent position.

All Divines entering the Sun Domain are his Divine enemies. Father, I can be very certain these Divines wish more than you for the Flame Sun Evil God's immediate fall.

So, we can contact these Divines. Perhaps they, like the Flame Sun Evil God, will detest you, but if you want to destroy the Flame Sun Sovereign's entire faith, then I believe these Divines would be happy to provide support, such as telling us the Divine's faith foundation coordinates on other planes."

"Hahaha..."

Upon hearing his son's suggestion, Noah couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Not only because the suggestion was highly constructive and feasible but because these words had completely overturned Noah's previous perception of this son.

"Really impressive, is this your own idea or did you and Terra come up with it together?"

"This is a newly refined idea of mine."

Iliad replied.

"Since it's your proposed idea, you shall execute it. I don't expect to ally with any Divine, but I need the coordinates of all Heliers' faith planes."

Noah's request was broad, quite relaxed.

"Father, you shouldn't harbor such hostility toward the Divines. Although your actions have threatened many, there are Divines you can approach. There's no conflict of interest with them, possible for alliance."

Iliad couldn't help but sigh, advising his father.
