Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire

Chapter 375: The Holy Dragon Heir's God-Slaying Conspiracy

"I agree!"

The wanderer, who once only yearned for survival, was long dissatisfied with his current state. When the opportunity for further ascension presented itself, he agreed without hesitation, even if it meant challenging death.

"Good spirit!"

Noah praised, then stretched out his hand. A blazing fire meteor immediately fell from the sun of the Dragon Domain, heading straight for the blood pool the Golden Giant had prepared for himself.

This was one of the roots that had created the Dragon Blood creatures all over the Dragon Domain. It was the True Blood separated by Noah when he first became an ancestor. As for his True Blood now, it's said that, regardless of whom it's given to, it's a form of cruel slaughter rather than a gift.

Boom—

The Red Gold Meteor fell. In the instant before the giant could react, the power contained within completely engulfed him. When Noah initially separated the True Blood, the spirituality contained within transformed into thousands of Dragon Snakes, devouring Sorlon.

The seemingly mighty Golden Giant couldn't even hold out for a moment before his flesh was torn to shreds by the Dragon Snakes, leaving his skin and flesh hanging off his skeleton like strips of cloth.

In the blink of an eye, the giant, reduced to a skeleton by Noah's True Blood, unleashed the deep-seated power within him. Golden Thunder flashed and danced between his flesh and bones, striking at each ferocious Dragon Snake, attempting to shatter them.

But the number of Dragon Snakes was too great. Although the initial explosion of Thunder achieved some success, it quickly lost momentum. The Dragon Snakes, like little dragons, burrowed into the giant's flesh.

Crack~

A teeth-clenching sound of breaking bones resounded. In the clash between the Dragon Snakes and Thunder, even the only intact bone couldn't withstand the pressure, cracking appeared in abundance. The Dragon Snakes roared, crawling into the cracks and integrating into the marrow, penetrating into the organs.

"Ah—"

Despite being a Titan Bloodline Awakener tempered for decades, he couldn't help but howl in the agony of every inch of his body being destroyed. However, he soon found himself unable to make a sound as his vocal organs were destroyed, rendering his outcries into incomprehensible whimpers.

Noah could feel the pain endured by the eagerly awaiting Augustus, whose True Blood was more akin to a cruel torture than the key to transformation and evolution.

A normal reception of a True Blood gift wouldn't be like this. Although it would involve at least two life-and-death trials, it wouldn't be so overwhelmingly dire, leaving no way out.

But having even a sliver of Titan Bloodline was the reason, as the initial burst of Titan Bloodline, though quickly declining, never ceased to resist. The weakness wasn't in the Titan Bloodline, but in Sorlon.

Watching Sorlon's aura weaken, about to crumble into a pile of broken bones and flesh, Noah intervened again. Not to mention that the True Blood originally came from him, Sorlon's existence came with a significant amount of Titan Bloodline brought up by him. Without it, this minor wanderer wouldn't have even achieved this much.

Of course, the critical point for Noah's intervention was that due to the influence of the environment, Sorlon developed a sort of admiration or even faith in him.

This faith was the key that allowed Noah to intervene. Otherwise, with his current power, coordinating the ancestral force and Titan Bloodline would be quite troublesome.

Word Spirit·Emperor

Except for the Divine and the Ascenders who tread the Divine Domain, no one could see the Power of Faith drawn in by Noah. This power could effortlessly traverse space, bend reality, and create wonders.

Noah was already well-versed in how to utilize this power, confident that he could indirectly apply this power to himself in certain ways.

But it was just a thought as he had no intention of implementing it. Having witnessed the downside of the Power of Faith, he understood that while it was nearly omnipotent, it was also an almost insoluble poison.

Noah had no intention of Divine Enthronement and naturally wouldn't be tainted by such power.

"Holy Dragon Emperor~"

With the support of the infused Power of Faith, Sorlon's waning Life Fire began to burn fiercely again. Along with the strengthening of his life aura, the once feeble Golden Thunder started to pulse anew.

This was a confrontation between two supreme bloodlines, two mighty forces clashing and competing within Sorlon, determining which was stronger. However, the result was obvious.

How could an incomplete bloodline resist the complete ancestral force, especially when the source of the bloodline was there to support? How could the resistance of the Titan Bloodline succeed?

Thus, after numerous breakdowns and reassemblies, Noah saw fine Dragon Scales growing on the reconstructed bones.

Not only on the bones, but traces of Dragonification appeared on the pulsating heart and the newly constructed blood vessel network. Sorlon had begun the preliminary fusion with True Blood, finally persevering through and commencing a journey of evolution and transformation.

"What a pity!"

Seeing such a scene, Noah sighed, with little joy in his eyes. Such an outcome was expected; as long as his will could endure, he would inevitably reach this point.

Noah regretted not being able to bring about the birth of a real Titan. The so-called nearly omnipotent power could only accelerate the awakening of the Titan Bloodline but couldn't perfect it.
