Chapter 303: At Worst, Sink the Continent
Even until the end, Noah didn't know the true age of his Angel Companion, because even his parents were unaware. When they started exploring, Ophelia was already quite famous in Heaven as the second generation of Blazing Sky.
Noah didn't really care about this though. After all, they were both of the Longevity Species; what's a difference of a few hundred years anyway? As an Ancestor Dragon, he didn't mind.
Moreover, it was confirmed that Ophelia had only him as a partner, and that was enough. There was no need to mind a mere age difference of a few centuries.
"Who captured whom in the end?"
But, Noah, who appeared carefree, couldn't help but ponder after sending off his parents.
All this time, Noah believed it was his own charm that won over the heart of a Six-winged Seraph. But now, suddenly knowing that Ophelia had a few hundred more years of experience than him made it hard for Noah to remain that narcissistic.
Who was the hunter? Who was the prey? Recalling the scene of their deep exchanges, Noah found it difficult to determine.
"Forget it, we already have children. Why think so much?"
Noah quickly gave up on this line of thought and turned to the situation he needed to face. In the Otherworld, the Dragon did not have any allied forces for support, but similarly, he had no weaknesses.
The only two he could call weaknesses, his biological parents, he had already sent away under the guise of visiting their grandchild. Two adult Golden Dragons, now not in prime condition, could withdraw gracefully to go recuperate without getting entangled with Noah any longer, awkwardly.
Therefore, now Noah could display his power without any hesitation. At worst, he could sink the land; after all, he didn't live here.
The orc army attacking Grudia was annihilated, and Noah personally butchered two Orc Legends, whose tribal forces also perished under the Dragon Group's Dragon Breath.
Although the orc tribal forces had their own air power, those ferocious Beast Dragon Cavalry once instilled fear in the human armies in the fortress, making them uneasy even in sleep, tensing up at the sound of breaking wind.
But these Beast Dragons could barely be called Sub-dragons. When confronting real adult Giant Dragons, even one-on-one, they could only be slaughtered, not to mention that the Beast Dragons were outnumbered by Adult Dragons, succumbing after merely a single collision, before even the ground forces were wiped out.
Finally, with the Dragon Group gaining absolute air superiority and no high-level power to restrain them, even if the orcs grew extra legs, they could only wail under the Breathing of Giant Dragons, their souls returning to the earth.
The Orc tribal alliance would undoubtedly learn of the complete annihilation of this conquering army, but Noah thought that given the orc tribe's level of civilization development, it would take some time for them to verify and corroborate the news. During this time, Noah considered completely taking Grudia first.
"There are two Legends in the Capital City, one belonging to the public office, and the other is a friend of the public office Legend."
Upon learning of Grudia's high-end military setup, Noah couldn't help but laugh,
"Three Legends, yet only you, one Legend, are present at the frontline, while the other two Legends are holed up in the capital; your country is truly interesting."
"Because Mitre is our nation's largest city, most prosperous in development, and also the richest city, almost half of the population and nearly seventy percent of the Transcendents are concentrated there."
Hearing Noah's voice, which wasn't a jibe but akin to mockery, Erwin couldn't help but explain.
"Oh, nourishing a city with the strength of a nation, indeed it needs good protection."
Noah nodded nonchalantly, finding it indeed a common development mode in Human-like Civilizations. Even in his own domain, most resources and policies favored Elisium.
However, cities outside Elisium in his domain were not poorly built. They enjoyed stable population and economic growth each year, only inferior to Elisium.
Moreover, unlike the development model of one country sustaining one city, Elisium City was the first to be constructed. The other cities were established as a result of Elisium's development and prosperity, not in a parasitic or exploitative relationship.
"Since it's a city constructed with the nation's full strength, it shouldn't be a battlefield, as after all, it will be yours, and also mine."
After a brief consideration, Noah made a decision,
"I will send two dragons to follow you back to eradicate the surrenderists in your Capital City and help you ascend the throne, becoming the Monarch."
"Two Dragons?"
Erwin looked confused and puzzled, not concerned with the number of dragons, merely surprised that,
"You're not going?"
"Do human Legends who are willing to bow before orcs require my personal handling?"
Noah chuckled, showing a hint of disdain.
"Then which two dragons do you plan to send?"
Erwin asked, with no doubt in his mind that with the power held by this Golden Dragon, as long as it returned with him, circling over the Capital City once, those two Legends affiliated with the public office would surrender without a fight. If Legends can surrender to orcs, is surrendering to a Giant Dragon any stranger?
"Of course, Ancient Dragons!"
Though the power of Adult Dragons wasn't weak, expecting them to deter Legends was frankly a joke, so Noah sought the dragons from his partner's family.
