Going For The Dream

Chapter 46: Chapter Forty-Five

We have been in college for a few weeks now. My major's Computer Engineering. I was learning all I could about coding and such. There was even more to learn than I thought. I read so many books about it I thought I knew everything. Apparently not.

I joined the art club that Raiven showed me. It keeps surprising me when alphas are in art class. Art's an omega thing. It's feminine. Most alphas don't like doing it because of that. I loved to see when people don't follow the traditional values.

Everytime I went to class or even the club I learned something new. I loved being in college. I got to room with my mates. Got to learn something new everyday. I was even becoming friends with the new pack members.

Everything was so new and not at the same time. I was surrounded by a lot of people. New people and old. Ones I'm just meeting and ones I've been around for years.

"Sweetheart." I heard in my ear making me jolt. I lifted my eyes from my easel to look at who called me. I smiled when my eyes landed on Aiden.

"Aiden." I breathed out. "What you doing here?" My grip on my paintbrush tightened.

Aiden laughed. "Club's over." He ran his hand through my hair.

I glanced up at the clock. My eyes got huge. Club was over an hour ago. "You waited until now to tell me?"

Aiden slid his hand down to my cheek. "I was watching you. You're so beautiful when you're spaced out. I love to watch you."

I looked up at him. My eyes were wide and my mouth was open. "You do?" There's some things that I have never been told before that Aiden and Raiven keep telling me. Every time they say something I'm always surprised.

He smiled. "Of course sweetheart. Raiven and I both like watching you. You are so beautiful. You always do something that draws our attention."

I looked back at my painting. I was doing another rendition of my wolf painting I did on the school wall. This time another alpha was added in. I smiled at it. It was my life even if I didn't have the pups yet.

"Do you think everything would be better here on out? No more setbacks like the past year?" I nearly whispered. These past few months were the best but they were also the worst.

"Oh sweetheart. Of course it will. As long as we are together it will always be better." Aiden pulled me into a hug. "No matter what happens." He murmured into my ear.

I gripped his shirt tightly. "Papi." They seemed to always say things that make me emotional. It was always something I needed to hear though. They always said it when I needed it. They have been the best things that ever happened to me.

Slowly I pulled away. I glanced at my painting. "I'm almost done here. Go back to Raiven and I'll join you guys in a bit."

"Are you sure sweetheart? You'll be alone for a while longer?" Aiden inquired.

I nodded. "It's not the first time I was alone. I'll be fine."

"Yeah but that was before you were with us. That was when everyone thought you were an alpha." Aiden cupped my cheek and made me look at him.

I smiled. "Yes but I have your marks and your scents are all over me." I pressed my hand to his chest. "I'll be fine."

Aiden studied me for a bit. He then nodded and then leaned into me, pressing his lips against mine. He kissed me slowly and gently. He pressed his forehead against mine when he pulled away.

"Let us know when you're on the way back. Also let us know when you're in trouble"

I nodded. "I will."

Aiden stood up and walked out the room. I turned back to my painting. It is almost down. I continued painting until it was done. When it was, I signed it and then stood up. I would put it away so it wouldn't get damaged but it needs time to dry. I still leaned it against the wall out of the others way.

'I'm on the way back.' I linked the boys as I left the room.

'Finally. We were getting worried.' Raiven answered. I could hear the annoyance in his voice.

'Sorry Rai. I just finished. You know I don't like to stop when I'm almost done.'

'Yeah. I know. Hurry up.'

'Yeah. Yeah. Be there soon.'

Just as I turned the link off my path was blocked. I looked up to see what it was since I was looking down and rummaging through my bag. I frowned when I saw it was a guy I had never seen before.

He had black hair and black eyes. He even wore all black. What is this? Is his favorite color black or what? Who even is he?

"Excuse me? Can I help you?" I tilted my head and cocked my hip. I put my hand on my hip.

"A lowly omega? With two of the most powerful alphas? Disgraceful."

My frown got deeper. "Who are you to tell me if it's disgraceful? You don't know who I am or who they are."

He laughed. "Oh I know. Killian Borg. The omega son of the Borgs that owns SilverHeart. You're with Raiven Knight. The alpha heir of GoldFang. And Aiden Knoxx. The alpha that took over and changing Hellvener."

"And? They're my mates. What do you want?"

He looked down at me since they were a little bit taller than me. "I want you to leave them. You don't deserve to be with them."

I laughed so hard I had to put a hand to my stomach and one on the wall to keep me from falling. "Leave them? Do you not understand that they are my mates? Who does deserve to be with them if not me?"

"I would be a lot better than a lowly omega."

I laughed harder. "Who are you? What makes you better?"

He put a hand over his heart and raised his chin. It was a funny sight. It was almost like he thought he was better than everyone. "I am Cameron Smith. I'm a beta. I'm part of the Smith family that owns Crossfield."

I slowly slid down the wall so I was sitting on the floor. I was laughing so hard I couldn't stay standing. "Do you remember what happened to Hellvener?"

He looked down at me and frowned. "They were shut down."

I pressed a hand to the wall to help me stand back up. "Do you know why?"

"Yeah. The government caught them doing some shady things."

I stood up straight and looked him in the eyes. "Do you know why the government caught them?"

He tilted his head. "No. Why are you asking this?"

"Because I know what happened. They were going after Raiven's company. Then they went after me. Do you know what happens when someone goes after an alpha's mate?"

He took a step back. "They get whipped out."

I stepped toward them. "What do you think will happen to you if I tell them about this?"

He stepped back more before turning around and walking off. "Never mind. Forget this even happened. I'm sorry."

I chuckled as I started going on my way again. I winced as Aiden's voice came through my head.

'What's taking so long? Why are there strong emotions going through the bond?'

I giggled. 'Nothing Aiden. All's good. Be there soon.'
