God’s Perspective

Chapter 13 : A Plan In Motion

It has been 14 days since I arrived in this world, and all of my followers have reached level 3, with only a few still at level 2. The most powerful among them is close to achieving level 4, just a couple of hundred quarks away. Once they reach level 5, they will gain access to two skills, significantly enhancing their combat abilities.

As I examine the stats of my strongest followers, one name stands out: Garrick. He is only a few hundred experience points away from level 4, and his attributes are remarkable.

If Garrick manages to collect a Quarks on his next hunt, he will certainly reach level 4, which will grant him an entire extra point to allocate to his attributes. I’ve designed the leveling system so that each level up awards 1 stat point, which can be divided into increments of 0.1, allowing for fine-tuning of specific attributes. With his current strength of 2.4, Garrick is already nearly two and a half times stronger than the average human. Just imagine if he decided to funnel all his stat points into strength by the time he reaches level 10; he could attain a staggering 9.4, making him nine times stronger than an ordinary person. He has the strength of nine people, making him nine times more powerful than an average person. However, having the combined power of nine individuals in one body doesn’t just add up—it amplifies his strength exponentially, far beyond the simple sum of nine. A mere swing of his sword could easily slice you up like a butter.

I look at my saintess, and im glad on her achievement.

Eliza has now become twice as intelligent as an average person, and her enhanced charisma ensures that everyone she helps adores her.

As their abilities grow, I can feel a faint resistance from the world, like a slight flick against me. It's so minor that I can easily ignore it, though it might be because I’ve been increasing their strength too rapidly. In any case, I believe this resistance will fade as I continue to rank up.

With my inherent divine knowledge, I understand that I must successfully integrate my divinity into the very essence of the world to further solidify my presence here. The exact meaning of this is still unclear to me, but I believe that as I advance further into the divine, I will eventually uncover the answers.

Perhaps I need to integrate the power of the world into my believers rather than relying solely on my divinity. However, since I’m structuring their abilities like in a role-playing game, I’m unsure how to connect this to the world effectively.

As I sift through the knowledge gleaned from my believers, I identify a potential avenue for integrating it into my Divine Interface.

I’ve learned that the Stormpelt Wolf near the village is a spiritual beast that hasn’t yet achieved rank 1. A rank 1 spiritual beast produces a mana core that encapsulates its spirituality and mana and serves as the foundation for its initial spiritual skills.

If I can break this down and analyze its essence, I believe I could infuse that into the system.

Scanning the area around the village, I locate a lost rank 1 spiritual beast about eight miles away. I realize that Ravenshade Village is really quite isolated, situated on the border of a forest where I discovered this rank 1 spiritual beast. This forest emanates an energy that feels both foreign and familiar, though I can’t quite identify it yet; perhaps in the future, further investigation will yield answers.

I brought a creature into my divine realm: a Stormpelt King. Despite its impressive appearance, it's limited to rank 1 spiritual beast, unable to ascend further due to its impure bloodline. The aura of this place, alongside my own, overwhelms it, leaving it petrified and subdued. Since the Stormpelt King isn’t one of my believers, it naturally feels the weight of my divinity pressing down on it.

Regrettably, I must bring an end to its existence for the sake of my ongoing experiments. My apologies, Wolfie…

I carefully extracted the gem-like crystal nestled deep within the Stormpelt Wolf King. It was about the size of a fist and emitted a faint glow, radiating both spiritual energy and mana. A mana core. This is the very essence of the power of every spiritual beast.

After breaking it down to its core essence, I integrated it into my Divine Interface. The entire process only took a day, during which I completed both the enhancement and integration.

The results were impressive: believers can now use mana when activating skills, instead of depending solely on my divine energy.

However, this process has also caused new resources to appear—HP and MP.

I need to focus on integrating the skills they’ve acquired with the new resources. To achieve this, each person will need a mana core to activate their mana veins. Since I don’t have direct control over mana, I’ll need to obtain a mana stone for each of them and manually integrate it. However, I can’t do this until they reach level 10. Attempting to add a mana core at level 5 would overwhelm them, as even the weakest core is equivalent to level 10 or higher. Therefore, I’ll make this a requirement for their advancement to level 10. Additionally, they will need to hunt for their own mana cores; I can’t continue to do it for them every time they upgrade. Once they reach level 10, they’ll unlock their mana veins, and HP and MP resources will emerge. Their skills will then be powered by mana instead of other resources.

As for the altar statue beside me, it’s basically ready. A few more prayers will fully empower it, but even if I stopped the prayers, it wouldn’t matter anymore. The statue is already at a point where it’s almost done. Now, I’m just waiting for the merchants to arrive. The question is, how can I convince them to become my followers? What benefits can I offer them?

When the merchants arrive in Ravenshade, they’ll notice how different this village is compared to others. Almost everyone here uses the skills I’ve given them in their daily lives, which should be obvious to anyone. But then again, this isn’t much different from what mages in this world can do. I haven’t met a mage yet, but I can sense their mana, and it seems like they can do most of what I’ve achieved here. I just don’t fully understand how they use their mana.

The people in Ravenshade are good at adapting to mana, but when I looked closer, I realized that most of them aren’t compatible with it. Only one person, Eliza, can hold the tiniest amount of mana, but it quickly disperses. That’s why I need to give them mana cores to activate their mana veins, allowing them to store mana properly. Once they manage that, they’ll be no different from mages who naturally have the ability to store and use mana.

But back to the merchants. How can I encourage them to worship me? I can’t just force them to believe without offering something in return. They’re merchants—they’ll need real benefits to follow me. Then I had an idea: a festival!

I’ll host a festival in Ravenshade, featuring a fighting competition and a craftsmanship contest. This will start after my virtual altar mission ends and showcase the abilities I’ve given to the villagers. I’ll also let the villagers sell items from the system store in exchange for real money or trade them for supplies the merchants bring. Preferably potions for healing and status buffs. This will show the merchants the advantages of being connected to me.

Now, I just need to wait for the day to end. I’ll make the announcement after the night mass, and we can start preparing for the festival.
