...

Clara stood in the bustling central square, surrounded by jubilant villagers celebrating their first missions as if it were a grand festival. The lively atmosphere buzzed with excitement, but Clara's thoughts were focused on one thing: she had finally pooled enough quarks for her first skill after unlocking her craftsman class just a day ago.

As she scanned the list of available skills, her heart raced. The options were enticing.

Clara had always dreamed of following in her father’s footsteps as a blacksmith, but the allure of Basic Enchanting captivated her imagination. She envisioned herself creating powerful weapons, like the blazing flame sword her father had described in enchanting bedtime stories about heroes battling dragons. Those tales filled her with wonder.

But as she glanced at her quark balance—110 quarks—disappointment washed over her. She was still 70 quarks short of her desired skill. Just yesterday, she had been sure she had pooled enough, but now it seemed she needed to earn more. Buying the recommended potions in the system store make this slightly more difficult. But although she hadn’t yet mastered reading, she had made progress and could recognize bits of words. The thought filled her with joy.

Her gaze fell upon a mission notification buzzing among the villagers. Hope sparked within her; perhaps today she could earn the quarks she needed. Clara opened the Virtual Church app, its logo featuring a magnificent building with a prominent cross, a symbol of the god of imagination.

For now, she chose to save her quarks, deciding against purchasing access to the remote option on the Divine Interface. Standing in front of the altar felt fulfilling enough. She knew that once she acquired the Basic Enchanting skill, her time would be consumed by mastering it, making access to the Divine Interface even more desirable.

In the virtual layout of the church, She was drawn to a virtual chair made of rich red cedar, its wooden design emanating a comforting vibe that resonated with her. The chairs adorned with moving icons, representing the villagers. Some chairs were unoccupied and bore a (+) sign. Curiously, Clara tapped on one, and an image of herself appeared above it, looking astonished. It was like a reflection in calm water, reminiscent of what her mother called a mirror.

Above the chairs, a replica of the altar displayed a bar indicating its energy charging percentage, which was still only a tenth filled. Clara noticed the villagers with their eyes closed, seemingly in prayer. A soft, flowing golden glow radiates from the window containing them, connecting to the virtual altar above. It looks like light is being transferred into the altar, adding to its energy.  Realizing that all of them are doing the mission, she followed suit and began her own quiet contemplation.

Unlike traditional prayers that could leave one feeling drained, the Virtual Church offered a more relaxed experience. There were no incantations to recite; all she needed to do was focus on the altar. Spending an hour in this state granted her 15 quarks, making it a serene way to earn the currency she needed. Clara decided to pray for four hours that day, taking breaks to complete her chores. This balance felt right, and with determination, she aimed to make the most of her time, fully committed to achieving her goal of acquiring the Basic Enchanting skill.

...

As I surveyed the scene with my divine sight, I noticed that most individuals were actively engaged in their mission, while others were planning to undertake theirs once they completed their current tasks. Beside me stood an altar, strikingly similar to the one found in the virtual church. This altar is central to my plan for my world dom—well, to bless the populace, as I prefer to think of it. My intention is to have this altar distributed by a merchant across various villages and cities that lack a divine presence. However, deploying it in a location already occupied by another god would be perilous, as they would immediately detect its presence and likely destroy it along with its bearer.

The merchant responsible for this task won't arrive for another two weeks, giving me ample time to infuse the altar with faith power. It's important to understand that faith power differs significantly from spirituality. faith power requires genuine belief and devotion. And Spirituality does not disrupt the daily lives of individuals; instead, it represents sacrifices made to the deity they worship. That's why they become drained of spirituality when they pray directly to me.

Newly born gods, such as myself, are forged from this coagulated faith energy, which ultimately forms the divine realm. Once the divine realm is established, faith energy is transformed into divinity, leading to the birth of a god.

As I mentioned earlier, the altar is not yet fully imbued with faith energy to qualify as a true altar. Once this altar is deployed, I will need to create another one for use in a different location. This process is crucial, as each altar must be adequately charged with faith power to effectively fulfill its purpose in being my anchor and tether in this world.

Observing the villagers' class choices, I noticed that very few opted for the craftsman class; the majority favored mage, followed by warrior, aid, and knight classes. I have plans to introduce a class advancement system for them once they reach level 50. Based on the skills they select every five levels, this system will allow for more specialized classes tailored to their individual needs and preferences. This will enhance their abilities and make them more effective in their chosen paths.

I also want the villagers to be versatile across all available classes, especially in the event of a disaster, such as a war against the followers of other gods. The more powerful and adaptable they become, the safer they will be. By encouraging a broad skill set, they can better respond to various threats and challenges, ensuring their survival and resilience in difficult times.

However, I won't disclose this intention to them. I prefer to take a hands-off approach, allowing them to make their own choices without constant guidance. I want them to develop their own strategies and view the system merely as a tool for support, fostering their independence and critical thinking in the face of challenges.
