"Go!" Raze shouted as Roan launched forward like a meteor.

Roan shrouded himself with flames and slammed into the Ravenous Tyrant.

Boom!

The Ravenous Tyrant didn't expect that it would be unable to block the attack!

It happened so quickly and it could only roar in fury, swinging its large arm, aiming to swat the dragon away like an insect.

Roan twisted mid-air, dodging the strike and slashed its claws against the Tyrant's flesh, only to find its wounds regenerating almost instantly.

"Damn, its regeneration is faster than expected," Raze muttered. "We need to push harder!"

Bang!

Lyra finally fired a high-caliber bullet straight into the Tyrant's eye—a direct hit.

The creature suddenly lost the vision of its right eye and staggered back. It wasn't in pain but it was definitely surprised by that attack!

Unfortunately, this Zombie didn't fall. Instead, after learning that it could still move, it pounced forward and targeted Roan who had burnt its skin just now.

Jaxon, on the other hand, noticed the overflowing power coming from the Zombie Lord and shouted, "It's about to use a sweeping attack—move now!"

His warning gave the team just enough time to dodge as the Tyrant ripped through the air, tearing apart everything in its path.

A shockwave sent rubble flying, nearly knocking Lyra from her spot!

Thankfully, Jaxon saw this move used against the Bone Army of the Necromancers. Once Jaxon analyzed the pattern of the Zombie, there was no way he would forget about it.

Now!

Tessa finally reappeared and struck from the shadows.

Her daggers were coated in venom and she landed strikes on the Tyrant's joints, slowing its movements.

As for the effectiveness of the venom, she wasn't really sure… After all, the Zombie Lord's body was completely different from humans.

However, the venom's effect could actually coagulate blood. The Zombies still had blood in their veins so once it solidified, it would still provide some assistance to them since the Zombies would have stiffer movements.

Unfortunately, even as Tessa darted away, the monster turned unnaturally fast, nearly crushing her under its weight!

Even if the venom was effective, it would probably take some time to solidify the Zombie's blood.

Kael reached out his hand and his healing light formed a protective barrier around her just in time.

"It's not as strong as I thought… We can keep this up!" Raze suddenly said as she analyzed the Zombie Lord's attack patterns.

Soon, Roan unleashed torrents of fire, the flames consumed the Ravenous Tyrant's body, but the creature's regeneration never stopped.

Raze's halberd cleaved through its limbs and with her current strength, she created deep gashes opening across its body!

"Hooo~ Would you look at that… Its regeneration had gotten slow!" Raze said with a laugh and this boosted everyone's confidence!

They were damaging the Zombie Lord!

With their huge amount of Spirit Stones, Potions, Talismans, and Tokens, they were confident to last in this battle even for more than 24 hours!

"We can do this!"

Lyra said as she changed her position from the ruined remains of a building to a spot farther from the Zombie Lord… After getting a more hidden spot, Lyra continued on her assault!

Each shot from her rifle would always hit her target!

She would always strike the Zombie's weak points without missing. It could be the Zombie's eyes, joints, or areas already injured by her teammates.

On the other hand, Tessa moved like a true assassin, slipping in and out of the monster's blind spots, landing crippling blows on its tendons, slicing through its muscles, but the Tyrant simply adapted.

Jaxon clenched his fists, his foresight barely keeping him ahead of the beast's learning counterattacks. Nonetheless, his constant advice to his teammates allowed them to properly deal with the Zombie Lord's antics.

"Tsk… It's adapting again." He grumbled.

"It's learning how we fight." Kael wiped the sweat from his brow, his Healing Hand talent working overtime to mend wounds faster than they could accumulate.

The ones who was always injured was none other than Roan…

Roan would get punched and kicked while it tore through the Zombie's flesh and burned its muscles…

Clack…

His reserves were nearly drained so he quickly drank a Spirit Recovery Potion and readied his pills.

"We need to end this soon or we won't have the strength left to escape." He said that but the battle continued for three more hours

The Ravenous Tyrant still stood before them, it was already battered but it was still slowly recovering!

Raze frowned seeing that it was already regenerating its missing arm. They took a lot of time just to cut that off!

Raze gritted her teeth. Enough was enough. She wanted to deal with this Zombie without relying on Shane's items but she was already reaching her limit.

The Zombie Lord that the ROTK Clan allowed to escape had already evolved too much!

"Fine, you bastard," she grumbled.

"Let's see how you handle this." From her inventory, she materialized the Sentinel Mk-IV Automated Turret, a sleek, state-of-the-art combat machine!

It was an item lent to her by Shane!

"Hahaha! Die!" Lyra saw what Raze had just taken out and she immediately felt excited! She knew the firepower of that turret as she had seen it in action during the Zombie Wave before.

The others also felt excited and immediately moved away from its line of fire.

The turret was soon activated, locking onto the Tyrant. It had its own program that was arranged by Cloud after all.

With such an incredible A.I. managing its targeting system, it was easy for Raze to include the Turret in strategies.

A mechanical beep sounded.

[ Target acquired. ]

In just a moment, the turret's barrels glowed, and in the next second, a barrage of energy bullets tore through the air!

The rounds struck the Ravenous Tyrant's body, burning through its rotting flesh and leaving seared holes that did not immediately regenerate!

Just like that, the battlefield was filled with the smell of burnt flesh!

They would normally dislike this smell but it was different at the moment. Raze's team knew that it was a good sign!

The Zombie Lord howled. Its body tried to adapt from the Energy Bullets but it just convulsed as chunks of flesh disintegrated under the continuous fire.

The Turret was not stopping at all!

For the first time, the Tyrant stumbled back and fell to the ground!

Bam!

The ground shook for a moment from the collapse of the Zombie Lord!

It was a chance!

Lyra reloaded her sniper rifle, her eyes focused on the Zombie's body hoping to find a clue where its core was located…

With her Sharpshooter Talent, she naturally had the best vision on the team.

Finally, she found out that one of the Zombie Lord's cores was actually located in its stomach!

She then used a Piercing Skill to ensure that her plan would work… After aiming, she then pulled the trigger.

The shot hit its mark and she confirmed that the Zombie Lord's regeneration slowed down by a huge degree!

"This is working," she called out.

Raze's also noticed this and smiled. If the turret worked, then they needed to keep up the pressure. She reached into her dimensional bag, pulling out everything she had saved for a moment like this.

Three Electric Shock Grenades flew through the air, detonating the moment they struck the Tyrant's hide. Arcs of electricity crackled across its monstrous frame, locking its muscles in place!

Indeed, it sent its body into violent spasms!

It was actually an incredibly expensive item in the Survivor Store! However, the one in the store was only an Exceptional Grade. The ones she threw just now were actually Epic Grade Items!

The team immediately acted as they continued the attack. Even Roan would shoot balls of fire from time to time. It no longer had to tank the attacks of the Zombie Lord thanks to the Turret that was suppressing its movement.

Roan suddenly looked excited seeing that the Zombie struggled to move!

The young dragon could tell that the Zombie Lord was dying!

Raze also noticed this and she was already on the move, throwing Lightning Talismans toward Roan!

The red dragon absorbed the lightning into its scales, and in the next instant, a lightning-infused fire blast erupted from its mouth!

It's a special move they created and it provides more power than just casting the Lightning to the Zombie Lord!

Just like that, flames and electricity combined, striking the Tyrant's chest with a blasting force!

It even burned through the muscles and bones of the Zombie Lord!

To their surprise, the Lightning Fire Combo seemed to have completely stopped the enemy's regeneration entirely!
