People are just going about their days, enjoying their meals, drinks, kids laughing in the park having a good time. A little girl opens her bag of chips and begins to masticate on her snacks— sitting on a bench with a puppy, laying it's fragile head, on her lap. The weather suddenly becomes cold; frigid air covers the planet as it is enveloped by a dark cloud, across the world's atmosphere. Unknown alien ships begin to fall from the sky— like meteors crashing into the planet at high speeds. Confused by all the destruction and violence; people are screaming as they are killed by these unknown extraterrestrial forces.

"When you lose everything, what will you do Mason?" an unknown woman's voice can be heard, in the little child's head.

The alien ships are piercing the ground with their massive weapons— made of unknown alloy metals not found on earth; creatures on two legs drop from orbit and begin attacking the humans. One notices a young seven year old boy standing there in shock, the being extends its right hand, transforming into a tentacle; the slimy appendage of the creature, instantly grabs hold of the boys head. He could not scream, he could not cry, all he did was wait.

"What can you do?" her voice can still be heard in his head.

Within hours cities were destroyed— within minutes the hopes of people— within seconds, their lives. What once was a lively world filled with life and sound; was now filled with silence and peace. Just like all things should be, just how things should have always been. The tentacle wraps around the boys head and crushes it within a second, tossing the lifeless body away.

"Nothing. You can do nothing." her voice gets quieter as if she is fading away.

"You are wrong!" replied Mason as he is getting up from his bed, sweating, panting, exhaustion in his eyes, pain in his heart. He took a moment to calm his nerves and relax his body, he looks around and notices he is in his room. Pushing back the black hair covering his eyes— finally realizing it was all just a dream, he falls back on his bed.

'Same dream again.'

"Mason sweety— breakfast is ready— come out when you ready!" a voice can be heard from outside his room. It sounds like a woman, her footsteps get quieter as she walks away from the door.

"Yes!" replied Mason.

After getting dressed up and ready— he went into the living room of the house— he saw a woman sitting on the couch. She had beautiful long wavy red hair, an hour glass figure, a black dress, black lace stockings, a witches hat, flawless skin, black eyeliner, velvet lipstick, crimson eyes and a black staff. She stared at him for a few seconds before she waved her hand to greet him.

"Good morning Mason." said the woman.

"Morning Ma'am." replied Mason.

"Ma'am?" she began to laugh. "Since when have you ever called me that? I didn't think you were the type for jokes— you are funny hun!"

Another woman came out of the kitchen—wiping her hands with a cloth. She had a very kind and relaxed look in her face.

"Breakfast is ready, come eat you two before it gets cold!"

The red hair witch and Mason both nodded and followed her into the kitchen. The 3 of them sat down at the dining table. Mason gets a good look at the other woman. She had a brunette loose ponytail, that hung over her right shoulder, hourglass figure, simple white shirt, blue jeans, tan cooking apron, hazel eyes and just as incredible to look at as the red haired woman. The brunette haired woman was a little confused as to why Mason was staring at her so much.

"Is something wrong Mason?"

"No. Sorry." replied Mason.

The red hair woman begins to devour her waffles, bacons, eggs and sausages while hearing their conversation. "This so delicious! Oops forgot the syrup stuff people love so much!" She pours syrup over everything on her plate.

"I see...if you want to talk about it sweety I am here for you always." she said with an angelic voice.

"It's fine thank you."

The red hair woman gets up and grabs herself a cup of coffee with 2 cubes of BonBon sugar and a bit of MooMoo milk; she sits back down and stirs her coffee with the sugar and milk inside. "You should make me these waffle things for dinner too they are pretty good! That way I can here everyday won't that be awesome!"

The brunette woman quickly replies with a smile to the red haired woman. "No."

"Aww." said the red hair woman as she continued to eat her breakfast.

"Well you should eat up and get going soon or else you are gonna be late for the entrance ceremony Mason." said the brunette woman.

"I understand, thank you for the breakfast." Mason quickly eats and gets up. "Good bye." he walks out the door waving his hand to them.

They both wave back to him and once the door closes, the room gets quiet, almost like they have been waiting for him to leave.

"Oh dear, it seems he has forgotten us Liliana." The red haired woman said as she was sighing. "He didn't even call you mom— are you sure this was the right call?"

"This is for the best." said Liliana.

"I understand." said the red hair woman.

"I will keep him safe this time." Liliana clenched her fists slowly.

"I hope so Liliana, I really do."

'Who were they?'

When Mason stepped out of the house— he realized he was in the middle of a dark forest. The trees were massive they reached the sky, shrouding the light, making it look like it was nighttime. Not only that but the trees leaves glow, in a dim neon blue light and these little creatures which resemble butterflies also have this neon glow, flying underneath the neon leaves. In the middle of it all was just his little house with the lights on.

'So this is normal gotcha.'

Some of them fly lower to where Mason is standing— circling him for a few seconds— then they leave a glowing trail of what looks like magic dust. Mason believes they are trying to lead him somewhere, since he has no idea where he is exactly, he follows them as they move in a certain path. After what feels like half an hour he reaches the end of the forest. He waves to them as a thank you gesture, they emit flashing neon lights back to him and go back inside the forest.

'Step 1 figure out what is going on.'

His eyes adjust to the bright sun after being in the dark for a long time, before him stands a massive looking castle which also looks like a school. 5 blue wyverns are soaring above the castle, female and male students can be seen walking and talking throughout the area. There are very few male students and a lot of female students, however the females look different. Some have wings, horns, scales, fur and many more features while all the males appear to look just like average humans.

The entrance to the castle-like school was incredible, it even had its own moat and gate entrance like those seen in medieval times. The Castle towers were all blue and the banners at the top had symbols of a crescent moon. In front of the entrance it read "Lunar Academy".

'Step 2 try not to stand out.'

"Hey dude you must be new like me!"

Mason turns around to see an unfamiliar face, short guy with a muscular physique, bald and a cheerful personality. He seems close to his age as well.

"I can tell your new like me since you don't have the uniform on yet, want to be friends?"

Mason replied. "Sure."

"Awesome bro, names Mash by the way! Mash Potato."

"My name is Mason."

"Hmm oh is that it?"

Curiously Mason asked. "What is?"

"You only have a first name— well I guess that is fine— it doesn't bother me but every man has a first and last name, so it is rare to meet someone with only one first name. Only Valkyrie have a first name and Company name." replied Mash.

'Why can't I remember my last name?'

"I see." Mason replied.

Every student makes their way inside the school and you hear bells ringing in the distance while a melody plays. That signals everyone to get inside their designated classes inside the academy and prepare for lessons. Mason and Mash quickly run towards the gate so they are not late for their first day.

They both make it inside and follow the other new students while walking past some male students with unique looking outfits. They seem to be having some kind of sparring session but they are not the ones doing the fighting. Two girls stand in front of them with confidence and fiery looks in their eyes. Standing opposite of each other, there is a woman in the middle who yells "Fight!". The girls begin to fight each other, they are going at it blow for blow, while the guys standing behind them are cheering them on.

Mash notices Mason lagging behind and see's he is interested in the match happening behind them. He walks towards Mason and smiles while watching alongside him as well.

"Pretty cool huh, two commanders are training right now to see whose Valkyrie is stronger."

Mason is stunned by how strong the women are and how they can take a beating without going down.

"How come the men don't fight though?" Mason asked in a confused tone.

Mash laughs. "Bro are you kidding? If we fight, the women will kill us with one punch! There is no way we could stand a ghost of chance against them! Now come on, let us get to the ceremony before we get into trouble."

"Alright." said Mason.

They both arrive to the entrance ceremony with many others, they can see hundreds of new female students but only about 20 new male students. It looked like a indoor assembly hall that schools had just way more massive— there were plenty of seats— so everyone sat down as soon as they arrived. A women, in a blue skin-tight dress, blonde long hair with curls at the tips, heels, blue staff and wizard hat takes the stage with other people in blue uniforms and begins to speak, everyone becomes silent to show respect.

"I want to thank all the men who have showed up here to join our wonderful academy and to all the women who made it here, you should be honored that you made it this far in life to reach the academy. Your hard work has paid off and now if you work harder you will one day reach new heights and who knows you may even join the Moon Knights!" said the blonde woman with a powerful and beautiful speaking voice.

The new female recruits begin to cheer loudly and excitement fills the air. The male recruits are just as happy, Mash clapping along with a smile, while Mason stays silent— observing the situation.

"Starting today you are now part of the Luna Faction, everything you do, everything that you achieve shall be for our Goddess Luna! So make sure to do your best, don't give up and always strive for greatness! Now I don't want to take more of your time or the teachers. The Lunar Staff shall assign you to your classrooms and explain what to do. Thank you boys and girls and good luck in your future endeavors! Oh and welcome everyone to Lunar Academy!"

Her speech ends and she proceeds to walk out of the hall while her staff members stay behind. The new student casually talks with each other while they wait to be assigned to their designated classrooms. You can hear the joy and excitement the students, they have heard great things about this place and are looking forward to their time here.

"This is it bro! Aren't you excited?" Mash said.

"Sure." Mason replied.

'Step 3 don't die.'
