Sophie's motivations could be fleshed out. The citizens are ungrateful scum. The climax didn't achieve its potential.

I will give you a book 2 to be proud of.

Don't worry! If you want to just read on when Bk 3 comes out, I'll provide a short explanation of any salient changes. And I'll be doing a super accelerated release schedule so we get to Bk 3 as quickly as possible.

I'm terribly at coming up with ads and cover ideas. All my ads massively underperform my friends' ads (or my friends enjoy lying to me). Please, please, any ideas let me know. If I like it, I promise I'll post my mockup in a response so you can see your idea come to life.
