Chapter 43: Date
The next day arrived, and Aether had planned a truly memorable day for Eula. He wanted to show her just how much she meant to him, knowing she had been feeling a bit left out lately. He'd spent the early hours carefully arranging everything with the help of some friends in Mondstadt, determined to make it an experience Eula would never forget.
As the morning sun rose over Mondstadt, Eula walked out to meet Aether, who was waiting by the city gates with a small bouquet of Cecelias. He smiled warmly as she approached, offering her the flowers with a little bow.
"These are for you, my Ice Princess," he said, a bit of charm in his voice.
Eula raised an eyebrow, but a slight blush coloured her cheeks as she accepted the flowers. "Starting off well, I see. I hope you can keep up the charm all day," she teased.
Aether grinned. "Oh, I've got a few surprises in store. Just wait."
Their first stop was Starfell Lake. Aether had arranged a small picnic by the lake's edge, complete with all of Eula's favourite foods. The area was quiet, with a gentle breeze and the sound of water lapping against the shore. They sat down on the soft blanket, enjoying the food and each other's company, exchanging light-hearted jokes and stories.
After their picnic, Aether guided Eula up to Windrise, where the grand Anemo Archon statue overlooked the land. The lush greenery and tall tree with its roots winding around the cliff made it a picturesque location, perfect for a quiet moment.
Eula took a deep breath, looking around. "You've outdone yourself, Aether. It's… perfect."
Aether took her hand and gently pulled her closer. "It's perfect because you're here, Eula." His gaze was sincere as he looked into her eyes, causing her to look away for a moment, caught off-guard by his warmth.
They spent the afternoon exploring some of Eula's favourite spots around Mondstadt, with Aether continuously finding ways to surprise her, from a special dance with no one around to watch, to treating her to rare wines he'd managed to obtain from Diluc.
As the sun began to set, they made their way back towards the city. Instead of heading back to the Knights' headquarters, Aether led her up to a secluded rooftop with a view over the entire cityscape. He had arranged for small lanterns to be placed around, casting a warm, golden glow.
Eula was speechless as she took it all in. "Aether… you really went all out."
He shrugged, giving her a playful smile. "Only the best for the best."
She chuckled, the warmth in her usually stoic eyes a rare sight. "I have to admit, this is… one of the best days I've had."
They sat side by side, watching the lights of Mondstadt below. Aether reached over, wrapping an arm around her shoulders, and Eula leaned into him, both of them content in each other's presence.
After a long moment of silence, Eula looked up at him. "Thank you, Aether… for everything."
Aether glanced down, smiling softly as he tilted her chin up. "I'd do it all again, just to see you happy." With that, he leaned down, pressing a gentle, heartfelt kiss to her lips.
In that quiet moment, with the city lights below and the stars above, it was as if time stood still, and nothing else mattered.
As then they both looked at Eachother, as then they kissee, as there tongue meet and started to fight, as they started to take Eachother saliva

After spitting after they saw there spit making a small line, as Aether realized something the kiss felt cold, like Eula had took a few breath mints
Aether looked at Eula. "Hey Eula, does a Vision Effect someone um serthen parts"
Eula looked at him. "What do you mean"
Aether looked at and smiled. "It is not bad, just that when I kissed I felt cold, when I kissed Amber it always felt hot or heat, when I kissed Lisa yesterday it felt electric so I am just asking".
Eula chuckled, a glint of amusement in her eyes. "So, you're telling me kissing me feels like a winter breeze? I suppose that's fitting." She gave him a playful nudge. "And you say Amber's kiss feels warm? Typical Pyro Vision, I suppose."
Aether nodded, smiling. "It makes sense, doesn't it? Each of you has this unique aura because of your Visions. But with you, Eula, it's… refreshing. Like a cool wave in summer."
Eula's expression softened, a rare gentleness in her gaze. "You know, Aether, most people are just intimidated by me because of my Vision, my family history, my 'vengeful' reputation… but you've always seen past that. I don't think I've ever felt this understood."
Aether reached out, brushing a strand of her hair back. "You're more than just a Cryo Vision, more than the stories people tell. You're… well, you're Eula. And I wouldn't have it any other way."
They shared another tender kiss, the cold sensation mixing with Aether's warmth. It was a unique feeling, one that perfectly symbolised the two of them: a balance of opposites.
Pulling back, Eula smirked, her usual confidence returning. "Just don't go around telling people you prefer icy kisses over fiery ones. Wouldn't want Amber or Lisa getting ideas."
Aether chuckled, shaking his head. "I wouldn't dream of it."
With a shared laugh, they gazed out over Mondstadt, enjoying the quietness of the night and the comfort of each other's presence. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day, a memory they both knew they'd cherish for a long time.
Eula then looked at Aether and made one had a circle and then started to put another finger into it. "You know still wanna do more with you today"
Aether face went read, as he reconised the gester. "I um wow".
Aether cleared his throat, his cheeks flushed. "Eula, you're... well, not one for subtlety, are you?"
Eula smirked, her eyes twinkling mischievously. "Why waste time with subtleties? I'm a Lawrence, after all. We don't hold back."
Aether ran a hand through his hair, chuckling nervously. "True... but, uh, maybe we could save that for a more… private time? Tonight's been perfect, and I want to enjoy every bit of it."
Eula gave him an approving nod, appreciating his sincerity. "Alright, Aether. I suppose I can wait a little longer." She stepped closer, resting her head on his shoulder, her voice softer. "Just… don't keep me waiting too long, okay?"
Aether gently put an arm around her, feeling the warmth between them even through her cold aura. "Promise. For now, let's just enjoy this moment."
They stayed like that for a while, enjoying the quiet intimacy, knowing they had time to explore all that lay ahead—together.
Meanwhile back with Amber, Her house was mess
Amber was looking around. "Where did that Little Dragon go".
Paimon was with her as she looked around. "Why does he have so much energy".
Amber sighed, hands on her hips, glancing around the scattered cushions, overturned vases, and bits of trinkets lying across the floor. "Honestly, I thought I was prepared for anything... but this little guy has more energy than a whole squad of outriders!"
Paimon floated nearby, visibly exhausted. "Paimon doesn't think even Aether's stamina can keep up with him! He's like a mini hurricane!"
Just then, a small crash came from behind the couch, followed by a gleeful giggle and a flick of a tiny tail disappearing around the corner.
Amber hurried over, calling out, "Luminis! Come on out, it's way past your bedtime!"
But instead, Luminis popped up from behind a stack of books, his eyes wide with excitement. "But Auntie Amber, there's so much to explore! I haven't even seen the other half of the house yet!"
Amber gave him a playful yet exasperated smile. "You really are your father's child, aren't you?"
Paimon rubbed her temples. "How does Aether manage this? It's like he's got a mini version of himself but even more… energetic!"
Amber chuckled and crouched down to Luminis's level. "Alright, little dragon, how about a deal? If you settle down and let me tell you a bedtime story, I'll show you my secret stash of Wind Gliders tomorrow. Deal?"
Luminis's eyes lit up, and he practically vibrated with excitement. "Deal! Can I fly one? Can I, can I?"
Amber grinned. "If you're on your best behaviour, maybe! Now, come on, let's get you to bed."
As Amber tucked him in, Paimon floated down beside her, giving her an approving nod. "You really are good with kids, Amber."
Amber shrugged with a soft smile. "Guess I've had a lot of practice with Aether's antics. Plus, it's kinda nice… makes the house feel a little more like family." She gave Luminis's forehead a gentle pat as his eyes finally began to close. "Goodnight, little dragon."
Luminis then looked at Amber. "Auntie Amber, can I call your Mama Amber as well"
Amber was caught of guard, sure she was also dating Aether, but she was not married to him unlike Eula. "I um... Sure".
Amber sighed, hands on her hips, glancing around the scattered cushions, overturned vases, and bits of trinkets lying across the floor. "Honestly, I thought I was prepared for anything... but this little guy has more energy than a whole squad of outriders!"

The night was peaceful as Amber quietly slipped out of Luminis's room, making her way to the living area where she found Paimon, who was sprawled on the couch munching on a leftover snack. The moment Amber walked in, Paimon's eyes lit up, sensing a chance to tease her friend even more.
"So, 'Mama Amber,' how does it feel to be all official now?" Paimon smirked, clearly enjoying Amber's flustered expression.
Amber chuckled, still a little overwhelmed by the events of the evening. "Honestly? It feels… wonderful. I didn't expect it, but Luminis is such a sweet kid. And being part of Aether's life in this way… it's more than I ever imagined." Her gaze softened, a dreamy look in her eyes.
Paimon raised an eyebrow. "So, you really are part of the family now, huh? Does this mean you're planning to stick around with Aether for the long haul?"
Amber's blush deepened, but she nodded firmly. "I'd like to. Aether… he's someone special. And now, with Luminis, Eula, and everyone else… it feels like we're building something real together."
Paimon munched on her snack thoughtfully. "Well, just don't let Eula hear you slacking off! She's not the type to just sit by and watch."
Amber laughed, imagining Eula's reaction to the conversation. "Oh, I know! Eula's protective in her own way. But I think we're all getting used to sharing Aether in our own ways. It's… different, but it feels right."
As they chatted, there was a light knock on the door, and Amber opened it to see Eula herself standing there with a grin. "Speaking of the devil…" Amber joked, gesturing for her to come in.
Eula rolled her eyes with a small smirk. "I figured I'd stop by and see how my future sister-wife is holding up with our energetic little dragon."
Amber burst into laughter, but the endearment in Eula's tone was undeniable. "Well, he's certainly got his father's energy! But I think I handled it," she replied, grinning.
Eula gave Amber an approving nod. "Good, because we're all in this together. And I… I'm glad we are."
The three women exchanged glances, feeling the growing camaraderie among them. Though it had started as an unusual arrangement, it was clear that they were becoming a family in more ways than one.
Just then, they heard the light footsteps of Luminis shuffling down the hall, rubbing his eyes sleepily. "Mama Amber? Mama Eula?" he mumbled, half-asleep. "Can I have a bedtime story?"
Amber looked at Eula, a smile spreading across her face. "How about we both read to him?" she suggested.
Eula nodded, and together, the three of them settled on the couch, Luminis nestled between them as they began to tell him stories. Paimon joined in, adding her own animated commentary, and soon the room was filled with laughter and warmth.
As Luminis's eyelids grew heavy, Amber wrapped a protective arm around him, glancing over at Eula, who mirrored the gesture. In that quiet moment, the three of them—Amber, Eula, and Luminis—felt like they were exactly where they belonged.
The night may have started quietly, but it ended with a sense of unity that went beyond words, and as they drifted into their own thoughts, each of them knew that, whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
