Chapter 229: Chapter 229

The sound of a ship's whistle echoed as a naval warship, previously docked outside Marineford, set sail once again.

Moving slowly, the ship dragged behind it four enormous, unconscious Sea Kings.

Turning to look at the injured Sea Kings, Smoker maintained a neutral expression as he glanced at Tina.

"At this point, if you told me those kids were the main force from another world here to help us complete our mission, I'd believe you," Smoker remarked.

Just moments earlier, the four children had effortlessly subdued the massive Sea Kings before his eyes. Each used their unique abilities to incapacitate the creatures without causing fatal harm, as they intended to bring them back alive.

Smoker took another look at the Sea Kings—one knocked out by a small fist, another rendered unconscious by colliding with a golden barrier, one frozen solid, and the last slapped senseless. Taking a deep breath, he shifted his gaze to Klee and her companions, who were now energetically playing.

"I've just gained a lot more confidence in the success of this plan," Smoker admitted. "If these kids are this strong, then the adult reinforcements from their world must be even more formidable."

Having just heard Tina's explanation, Smoker looked up at the blue sky and the open Gates of Justice ahead. Amid swirling smoke, his eyes gleamed with determination.

"It looks like I might live to see the birth of a new world after all," he said. "I used to think we wouldn't witness such a transformation in our lifetimes. After all, in this pirate era, the Navy's strength and preparation are still lacking."

"But with these powerful reinforcements from another world, things will be different. Moving forward will be much simpler."

As the ship passed through the Gates of Justice, Smoker's voice carried on the wind.

"Those driven by ambition and evil have already become pirates. All we need to do now is eliminate these extreme criminals and destroy the source of oppression. Then, only the law-abiding citizens will remain."

"With the knowledge from these otherworldly allies, the Navy can establish a new order and maintain peace. Soon enough, our world will know true harmony."

Beneath the gentle breeze, warships from across the globe advanced toward the Gates of Justice, converging to uphold their vision of justice.

"Woo~"

The whistle of another ship signaled its arrival at the naval port. Onboard, Klee waved goodbye to Tina.

"Tina-sis, Klee's going to find Brother Hiroshi. These big fish need to be delivered quickly, or it'll be a waste if they die."

Turning to Qiqi and the others, Klee nodded firmly. "Qiqi-sis, Xiaohei, Riri, stay here and watch the big fish. I'll be back with Brother Hiroshi soon."

Golden light shimmered across Klee's body as she transformed into a streak of light, speeding toward Marineford.

Standing by Qiqi and the others, Tina watched as Klee disappeared into the distance, momentarily stunned before sighing with resignation.

Ever since she had seen Klee effortlessly subdue the massive Sea Kings, Tina's worldview had shifted dramatically.

"So she glows and flies now. Small matter. I'm a Rear Admiral. I've seen stranger things. Stay calm."

Nearby, more naval warships began docking at the port.

"Brother Hiroshi!"

At the naval training grounds, a streak of golden light descended, revealing Klee. She sprinted toward Hiroshi, who was busy acting as a drill instructor.

In the eyes of the naval recruits, their devilish new instructor's demeanor transformed instantly upon seeing the small girl. From a Spartan taskmaster, he became a gentle older brother.

Smiling, Hiroshi picked up Klee and gave the eavesdropping recruits a sidelong glance. Instantly, sweat poured down their foreheads, and their push-up speed doubled, almost leaving afterimages.

Patting Klee's head, Hiroshi asked with a smile, "Klee, weren't you out fishing with Tina and the others? Why are you back so soon?"

"Brother Hiroshi!" Klee exclaimed excitedly, wrapping her arms around his neck. Her small hands gestured as she described the giant fish they had caught.

Pointing toward the naval port, Klee said happily, "Tina-sis and the others are watching the big fish there. Let's hurry, Brother Hiroshi. If they die, they can't have baby fish later!"

Laughing softly, Hiroshi shook his head and floated into the air.

Looking down at the recruits sneaking glances at him, Hiroshi said calmly, "Add 2,000 more reps to your training. If it's not done when I return, you'll miss tonight's special meal."

The recruits' eyes widened in horror as they pushed themselves even harder.

"No matter what, we can't lose Instructor Hiroshi's special dinner!" they roared, their voices echoing through the training grounds. Returning naval officers smiled in approval, reminiscing about their own training days.

At the naval port, three figures who stood out from the usual naval crowd disembarked from a warship. Among them was Donquixote Doflamingo, clad in his signature pink coat.

Scanning the surrounding naval officers, who looked at him with a mix of disgust and fear, Doflamingo let out his signature laugh.

"I never thought the Navy would one day invite pirates like us to Marineford. This is delightful! Fufufufufu!"

His gaze shifted to the four colossal Sea Kings near the naval ships. Doflamingo's pupils narrowed slightly. With his strength, he could see how these Sea Kings had been defeated in an instant, their lives spared with precise control.

"Fufu."

Chuckling softly, Doflamingo stepped onto Marineford's ground. Glancing at the children playing nearby, he turned to the naval officers sent to greet him.

"It seems the Navy has a few new monsters. Are those four gigantic Sea Kings meant to intimidate us?"

"Fufufu, how terrifying," he mocked. "Terrifying enough to make me want to see the Navy dance for me."

Invisible strings descended from the sky, attaching themselves to the naval officers. Raising his hands, Doflamingo grinned wickedly. "Dance for me and soothe my frightened soul."

"Wait!"

A sudden voice interrupted Doflamingo. Gecko Moria, dressed like a clown, stepped past the immobilized officers, his gaze fixed on Qiqi with a manic intensity.

"Those kids aren't ordinary," Moria exclaimed, his eyes wild. "Especially that bandaged one!"

"There's no doubt about it! She's a zombie! A zombie that can walk freely in the sunlight!"

"Oh~" Doflamingo's interest piqued as he turned to examine Qiqi and the others more closely. His gaze lingered on Riri's dragon horns, and a sly grin spread across his face.

"I've found something interesting too," he mused.
