Chapter 375: Chapter 375: The Nuns
A pair of round, red half-rim glasses rested quietly on the edge of the bed, teetering as if about to fall.
Not that it mattered if they did fall—beneath them were a hat and clothes cushioning the drop.
Sucrose lay on top of Nolan, pulling the blanket up to cover her snowy white shoulders. However, because the blanket was spread horizontally, her delicate legs, clad in torn, semi-sheer black stockings, were left exposed. A small hole revealed the fair skin of her calves.
At this moment, Sucrose was in a state of complete exhaustion—what one might call "total collapse." She had no strength left in her body, but she had successfully completed her breakthrough. In fact, her level had risen to 41.
"You're such a troublesome adventurer..."
Sucrose puffed out her cheeks, drawing circles on Nolan's cheek with her finger in a mock expression of frustration.
Hmph! How dare he make me do such embarrassing things!
Nolan, stroking her smooth and soft back, chuckled.
"Sorry about that, but there was no other way. Breakthroughs require more energy than normal level-ups, so I had to trouble you just a little."
Although his explanation made sense, Sucrose still pinched his cheek in protest, expressing her dissatisfaction.
Nolan didn't mind and continued holding her in his arms.
By around ten in the morning, thanks to the restorative effects of the "universal energy," Sucrose had recovered quickly.
After getting dressed, the two left the room and headed to the living room.
Nolan planned to give Sucrose a tour of the "Wonderland" and explain its benefits, hoping she'd visit more often in the future. He also thought it would be a good opportunity for her to meet Mona, who was studying the stars here.
Both women were scholars, each walking their own path in pursuit of the world's truths. While their fields of study were different, they undoubtedly shared much in common.
At that moment, Lisa contacted Nolan telepathically, saying she wanted to visit the "Wonderland" to discuss setting up her own laboratory.
After receiving his approval, she teleported directly to his side.
"Oh? Lisa!"
Seeing Lisa, wearing her signature witch's hat and purple robes, suddenly appear, Sucrose exclaimed in surprise.
"Well, well, it's little Sucrose! Are you having a romantic rendezvous here with our dear adventurer?" Lisa teased with a playful smile.
"N-no, it's not like that..." Sucrose stammered, her gaze falling to the ground in embarrassment.
Oh no... What do I do? Sucrose's mind spiraled into chaos. Lisa must have figured out that I... I did that_ with Nolan! Ah, how embarrassing! She's going to laugh at me for sure..._
Unaware of Sucrose's internal turmoil, Nolan might have reassured her by saying, "Don't worry, Lisa didn't actually see anything. She can't possibly know."
Though, judging from Lisa's knowing smile, it seemed like she had a pretty good idea of what had happened.
"Lisa, you're thinking of setting up a laboratory here, right?" Nolan said, quickly changing the subject. "By the way, Sucrose, would you like to have one as well?"
The suggestion caught Sucrose's attention, effectively diverting her thoughts from her embarrassment.
One lab or two—it didn't really matter. Adding another one wouldn't be an issue either.
The current "Wonderland" had already expanded to 130 square meters, with a high enough ceiling to accommodate multiple floors if necessary. Adding additional labs wouldn't be a problem.
"Eh, really? Is that possible?" Sucrose's heart naturally leaned toward wanting to stay close to Nolan while doing her research.
So, the idea of building a lab here piqued her interest.
"Of course." Nolan playfully pinched her fluffy ears before musing, "Why don't we reorganize the space a bit? Let's divide it into two areas: one for living and one for research."
Currently, only Mona had a lab in the Wonderland, and her quiet astrological research didn't disturb anyone else. But Lisa and Sucrose's studies were entirely different—one focused on elemental research, and the other on biology. Unlike astrology, these fields weren't exactly "silent."
It made sense to separate the living and research areas.
"That does make sense. Why don't we plan out our home together?" Lisa said, a small smile gracing her lips.
"You three can discuss it with Mona. The living area doesn't need much planning, so focus on how you want the research area to look," Nolan replied with a grin.
Experts like Lisa and Sucrose could handle the layout of the research area. Oh, and Fischl—her Highness might have specific preferences for her quarters too.
He decided to bring Fischl into the conversation and contacted her via long-distance communication. She replied that she was currently on a task for the Adventurers' Guild and wouldn't return to Mondstadt until midday.
Well, that was typical. The Adventurers' Guild often had plenty of investigative missions.
When Fischl went on these missions, she rarely brought dry rations or tents. Instead, Mona would deliver freshly made meals to her during breaks.
After all, if freshly cooked food was an option, why settle for rations? It wasn't much trouble for Mona either.
As for why Fischl didn't simply enter the Wonderland to eat, it was because the Wonderland's location was tied to Nolan. Wherever he exited the space, that's where its entrance would appear.
If Fischl teleported into the Wonderland mid-mission, she wouldn't be able to return to her original position. Thus, she typically waited until her tasks were done and returned to her Mondstadt home before coming to the Wonderland.
By then, whether it was Jean, Lisa, or Sucrose, someone was usually in Mondstadt, making it convenient to teleport back.
"Alright, since our dear adventurer is shirking responsibility, leave the planning to us." Lisa chuckled, gesturing for Sucrose to follow her as they went off to find Mona.
Nolan, meanwhile, had another task—helping Albedo in the snowy mountains. Without lingering in the Wonderland, he set off for Dragonspine.

Dragonspine, Camp at Foot of the Mountain
Nolan used his mental energy to control the "Moonlight Greatsword," experiencing the thrill of sword flight. After about half an hour, he reached the base camp at the foot of Dragonspine.
(T/N: Dammm, Here is the Legendary Sword Flight!!)
Compared to his last visit, the number of adventurers here had significantly increased. It was even starting to resemble a small village.
Despite Dragonspine's cold and dangers, adventurers' passion for treasure hunting was unquenchable!
Nolan stopped here instead of flying straight to Albedo's camp further up the mountain because he had spotted two familiar faces: Barbara and Rosaria, two sisters from the Church of Favonius.
They seemed to be preparing to ascend the mountain, heading toward the Snow-Covered Path.
Retracting the "Moonlight Greatsword" into Wonderland, Nolan unfolded his Wind Glider and gently descended beside them.
"Hello, Miss Barbara and Miss Rosaria!" he greeted cheerfully.
"Oh, it's the Honorary Knight! What brings you here?" Barbara exclaimed, surprised to see him.
Rosaria's reaction was much more subdued. Folding her arms, she said casually, "Oh, it's you."
That was typical—after all, Nolan had only met Rosaria a few times, so they weren't exactly close.
