Chapter 8: CHAPTER 7 DUCKS
"It seems that this is the only normal grade that I can hunt."
After pondering over his thoughts, he finally decided to hunt a certain creature, it is actually an aggressive duck, a lot stronger than the Three-Tailed Chicken.
"Maybe I should train the art of archery, with my advantage on my monster pets, I can fight in a safe manner, away from danger." He mutters to himself.
"Master, I suggest that you train the sword, your family has a manual regarding manipulating energy in order to fight in a longer range, the flying sword technique; the requirement is that the practitioner has to have supernatural genes." Eclipshea informs him.
His eyes widen after hearing this, he cannot help but stand up in shock.
After a while, he starts laughing.
He daydreams about controlling his sword from afar, looking extremely cool.
He even has an idea of using the sword as a flying ship, making a very grand entrance.
[I must remind the host that the requirement for training such a technique is a minimum of at least one supernatural gene.]
The system crushes his daydream instantly, but he does not care, he is confident that with his growth, it will not be long for him to start hunting supernatural-grade genetic creatures.
Also, he has Cleo's Clone, this will be his trump card.
After all, it is immortal, and according to the system, it will use a considerable amount of energy in order to revive, but this drawback is so small compared to the advantage.
"Eclipshea, tell me, is there any suitable normal-grade soul blessing in order for me to start practicing swordsmanship?" He quickly asks.
He wants to go back to the Realm of the Thousand Realm right now in order to hunt genetic creatures.
"There is, but it is not a normal grade but an advanced grade, it is extremely rare and precious, the sword slave is one of the strongest advanced grade genetic creatures in the Realm of the Thousand Worlds." She explains.
"Many genetic warriors would even equip their soul blessings into their soul slots." She added.
"Why is it considered precious?" He can't help but asks.
Hearing that the soul blessing is so great that many would equip it into their soul slots, he became interested.
He has the Gemstone of Life, and his soul slot will not be wasted even if he equips a normal-grade blessing.
"The Soul Blessing is a special type, it enhances the host's talent towards swordsmanship, increasing their comprehension of anything related to the way of wielding a sword." She explains
"Not only that, those that have supernatural genes are even capable of summoning illusionary swords made out entirely of energy but dealing all manners of damage." She added
"Lady Margaret is a prime example of this, together with the flying sword manual, the Oriend Family is capable of summoning multiple swords and wielding them just by thought."
Projecting his sister's image, she directly gives him a great example.
"Awesome!" Leon finally realises just how great the Soul Blessing was and some of his family's strength.
He decides that he will obtain such a blessing and raise it to Supernatural Grade.
He swears this, takes a deep breath to calm his raging heart, and asks Eclipshea.
"So what about my sword? The Sword Slave Soul Blessing might be extremely useful to me, but I still need a sword."
"Master does not need to worry; the Oriend Family owns a small mine of G-Force metals, creating a sword is an extremely easy request, I can send a small request myself, as your personal robot, I am authorised with such an order."
He snacks his head, forgetting about this fact.
He smiles and says. "Okay, order four swords, please; all of them should fit a two-sword style."
If it were anyone, they would be confused as to why he orders four swords, but as a robot, Eclipshea does not care about the reason, her programme only consists of following any order from her master.
"Request sent, the four swords will be sent after two weeks." Hearing this, Leon raises his eyebrow.
He cannot believe how fast they are capable of creating such items, but considering how advanced this world is, he can only smile bitterly.
'Hmm, unfortunately, Cleo's Clone is incapable of learning martial art technique yet. I should let it learn how to wield a sword or just basic attacks such as slash and stab.
Thinking about this, he stands up and says. "I will be staying in the Realm of the Thousand Worlds to train basic swordsmanship. I will return after two weeks; if my package arrives, bring it to my room."
He decided to steel himself and survive in the Realm of the Thousand Worlds for at least two weeks, but first he must learn how to carve a sword from wood.
With the genetic enhancement, human minds are much more nimble and can easily remember many details.
He is confident that, with thirty normal genes and the assistance of the system, he can create suitable training swords for both him and Cleo's Clone.
He expected that he would leave immediately, but after watching the videos about crafting, he was actually mesmerised, he hurriedly left with sweats falling down his face.
The amount of entertainment in this world is greater than in his former world, if he continues to watch fascinating things from this world, he might not be able to leave and would probably stay in the mansion and spend most of his time only watching videos.
Not to mention, he has a personal robot that can cater to his every need, including his arousal.
If not for the fact that she has the same appearance as his sister, he might not have been able to stop himself.
After entering the Realm of the Thousand Worlds, he heaves a sigh of relief and wipes the sweat from his forehead.
He cannot help but say. "The luxury and convenience of the True World are truly scary, fortunately, I have already experienced what helplessness is like, if not, I would probably become a fat lazy bxstard."
With his cloak, he easily escapes the gaze of his guardians.
They are used to his former self, flamboyant and proud, but they still do not know just how cautious and timid their new master is.
Unlike before, he is no longer acting like a newbie but not like a veteran either, he is more like a regular person.
He still exhibits a little bit of naivety, but not to the point that everyone sees him as a weakling.
Meanwhile, his guardians received a message from one of their informants that their young master had entered the realm, unfortunately, the informant did not see when Leon changed into his hunting clothes.
Passing through the busy street, he quickly comes out of the gate unnoticed.
Just like before, some veterans immediately see through his clothing, and since he does not carry anything worthy, they immediately lose interest.
"First target is the Big Bill Ducks." Unlike before, he has to fight these creatures, they are capable of fighting back, and with their numbers, they can even overwhelm genetic warriors that have twenty genes.
Since this is the case, he needs a weapon, and there are multiple trees around.
As long as he can grab a stick large enough to pretend to be a sword, he is all for it.
He does not have any equipment to craft, but this will change once he encounters a creature that is capable of dropping a pet egg.
For others, it is useless, but for him, it is priceless, and their feedback is capable of bridging the gap between him and those that have higher-grade genes.
Arriving at a clearing, he quickly spots some broken sticks, but they are not big enough to fit his criteria.
After searching for a half hour or so, he finally decides to break a couple of branches to obtain his so-called weapon.
Summoning his pet, the two of them work with each other, and after multiple tries, they finally obtain four thick and long sticks that they can use to practice.
An hour later, a cry of pain and cursing can be heard in the forest.
Leon is covered in bruises as he glares at his pet.
In order to learn quicker, he decided that he should spar with his pet.
Since his predecessor learned the way of the sword before, he thought that his pet should know a couple of moves.
His speculation was true, his pet might not know the names of his moves, but it instinctively attacks and blocks with a certain bit of accuracy, causing him to be beaten, he was unable to even fight back.
He grumbles.
Since this is the case, he realises that he cannot use such a method as a shortcut.
Sighing in disappointment, he decides to train simple sword attacks like slashes and stabs.
Sending his clones to hunt the Big Bill Ducks, he starts swinging his stick into a big tree.
Just the first swing causes his hand to ache, and the tree shakes.
Even with thirty genes, he was unable to break it, which is actually not surprising for him.
According to the information that he received from Eclipshea and watching the videos on the worldwide network, nearly everything inside the realm is enhanced by some sort of energy that all genetic creatures are capable of absorbing.
In fact, even drinking water can enhance the strength of normal humans, but for those with gene enhancement, the increase is negligible, it is so small to the point that it is nearly nonexistent.
"F*ck!" He curses loudly, but he does not stop swinging.
He has two swords, so he was using both, either one at a time or simultaneously.
He knows that he was right-handed in his former life, but in order to survive in this world, he must be adept at every part of his body.
That is why, every time he slashes or stabs, he moves his legs, advancing and retreating at the same time, over and over again.
If somebody sees him right now, they will be surprised.
No one dares to waste their energy in the wild; in this realm, every location, even the stronghold, is considered dangerous, and wasting energy for such a practice is frowned upon.
Unfortunately for them, they do not have an existence like Cleo's Clone to hunt for them.
Leon is still trying to adapt to this world, and with his current combat experience, getting killed has an incredibly high chance.
The system messages start assaulting, and he realises that with his two sticks, Cleo's clone is much stronger than before.
[Warning! Warning! Cleo's clone is now in a dangerous situation; its current condition is precarious.]
Leon, who was cursing loudly as his hand felt like sh*t after multiple attacks on the tree, knew that his pet was immortal, but there was still some sort of payment to revive it, and he did not want to know what it was.
Without hesitation, he drags his exhausted body towards the location of the river where the Big Bill Ducks reside.
He hopes that his pet is still alive when he gets there.
Meanwhile, near a certain river, a cloaked figure is fighting against multiple ducks that are the same size as a dog, he is barely hanging on as most of his cloaks are torn.
Even with his current condition, the individual is not afraid in the slightest, he is still fighting back.
Suddenly, a shout was heard and a bright light flashed in the area.
All the ducks were killed.
The individual quickly retreats and prepares himself.
In front of him, a lady with a sword is standing with an angry look.
"Ungrateful! You did not even thank me after saving your life, and now you are pointing your, huh?" She shouted.
"What type of weapons are those? Wait, do not tell me, are you actually fighting Big Bill Ducks with just two sticks?" Suddenly, she notices his weapons.
She cannot help but laugh.
"I cannot believe that there is someone as foolish as you, no wonder you nearly died from normal genetic creatures; not only are you poor, you are also stupid."
Wiping the tears from her eyes, she realises that what she had done was rude, she heard that most poor warriors would risk their lives to hunt aggressive, normal-grade genetic creatures.
But according to what she knows, most of them travel in groups, this is the first time she has seen such a stupid individual.
