From Idol to Adventurer : how hard can it be right?

As we both wake up in the morning doing our usual day Cynthia still asleep and khirhan made us a breakfast casual one and khirhan Carry Cynthia again to the dining table nothing peticular here, after we finish our breakfast and preparing to meet makoto khirhan said that she's in the colosseum.... Now we're finally getting some real training moment... I just hope that she doesn't kill us in the process....

After we done we eventually head out to the colosseum.... And as expected... It's in a middle of the sea... Why would I even bother I would though but I'm not going to or she will nagging me.

We trying to cross the bridge that connected to the colosseum and it's really wobbly like no joke it's wobbly like a Jello, probably just the wind it is in the middle of the sea.

"Mr Khirhan... We're not going to die right? This bridge is really wobbling one false move and we're done" while saying that I was grabbing the rope full tight and not letting it go

"Yup this is the two other way we can Walk trough it" he didn't even bother to grabbed the rope of the bridge...

"And the other way is? Don't tell me you can teleported us into the colosseum and since we didn't asked you didn't do it...." Cynthia calmly in a sarcastic way saying that khirhan can do it

"That is the other way"

....

"Okay I'm going to kill him Erika if we fall because we didn't asked him and for once I asked you khirhan can you teleport us into the colosseum with... Safety"

"Sure thing Cynthia"

A bright light came from his hand and we're already in the colosseum and it's huge not gonna lie in the distance it's small but now... Yeah no wonder everyone in the kingdom can fit in, and... Where is she? I thought that she was asked us to be here, me and Cynthia searched around where khirhan was walking to the middle section he then pulled out his staff like one of those cool anime protagonist where he sense something coming, and he surely did with a second thought he block a sword coming from nowhere.

"As expected from khirhan you can still see my attack even if you're now almost in that old age"

"And you're attack never changed, I thought the Grand swordmaster would change her tactic against her old friend here"

She crashed down near the middle of the colosseum and picked her great sword upwith one hand... ONE FRICKING HAND.... Now I'm practically scared of what she can do at her full power....and on top of that khirhan blocked her with ease how strong is this old man?

Her great sword retract and become a small handle that she put in her hip, so it's a retractable sword... Or weapon? I don't know this world is insane.

"Anyway you two ready for the training?"

I'm scared.... I don't know about Cynthia here, she practically smiling like a little kid on Christmas day about to open they're gift.

"I'm so ready makoto and when do we start?"

"Right now is best am I right khirhan?"

"Sure if that is what both of you want... But" he then snapped his finger and a wooden sword appear Infront of me and Cynthia, while makoto was handed a cloth.

"Alright ladies first thing first you're first lesson is hitting me, if you can you will moved on to the next lesson easy am I right? And Also khirhan will also bind me with this cloth so I limited access to figh-" while explaining the rule and how we should fight her, khirhan bind her with the cloth he summoned and this blue furball interrupt her.

"Yeah yeah this that this that bla bla... Taste this wooden sword makoto"

She just charge straight in? W-wait Cynthia... Without further explanation of Cynthia word she tried to hit makoto right in the stomach but her calculation are wrong and makoto easily dodge her attack, she try and try and try and try different slash different area to attack not once near her, she's like one of those who want to hit a fly with a newspaper but failed miserably

I wanna try to so I picked up the sword... Which is I'm bad at but not that much so I walked very stealthily so that makoto doesn't spot me and at the last second she's Infront of me I close my eyes and... I swung the wooden sword at her head.

I HIT HER!!!...

As I opened my eyes... When does makoto hair turned Blue?

"Ouch... You hit me you dumbo"

"Hahahaha Cynthia you should try to avoid her attack too instead of focusing on me, and beside you two didn't even come close to me and not even one hit, what am I going to do if you two face me with my hand untied..."

"Relax makoto like I said before making a perfect-"

"Shush old man I know I know it takes time" she ripped the cloth that bind her with ease... Yup she really beat the demon king with ease if she can

"You know ladies how about I demonstrate you how will you become after I train you"

She then take the sword and aiming it at the far sea with one swoop of a Wooden sword she carved the sea in half for momentarily and the sea became normal again... Yup truly a protagonist energy around her.

"Say miss makoto if you're that powerful why wouldn't you be the hero of this continent?"

"Hehehe Erika dear there's more things than becoming a hero, for instance that was just some pure physical strength not some overpowered skill or ability, you get there sometime any day any weeks but the thing you don't want to leave behind is your determination about something you want to achieve with that, not even the demon king can rival you sweetie"

"Your welcome and beside being a hero is boring, you gotta do people chores like oh 'oh heroes you came can you do this for us? Bla bla bla' hahaha... She took a glance at khirhan, who helped us with everything he had.... I mean he is very useful unlike someone here, a quick glance to the Cynthia with a blank face.

"No I'm just surprised that I haven't die because of you"

We exchange glance and laughed at it, then makoto show us how to improve our battle style, and asked us to change our weapon to one of her picked, there's a lot here.... And I might probably pick the sword and shield, it is heavy and its hard to move sometimes but attacking and defending will be good with this, as for Cynthia she picked a battle axe... Neat I guess? She swinging it side by side and fall because of the momentum she make classic Cynthia doing....

Makoto then snapped her finger Infront of khirhan, he really doesn't understand until makoto do the "eye" thing, he then conjure out of thin air.... A wooden sword, Yup you hear me right a literal wooden sword.

"Hey umm Cynthia"

"Yeah?"

"I feel uncomfortable by the fact that she asked khirhan a wooden sword... Like an actual wooden sword"

"Hmmmm let me think for a second Erika.... Nah she maybe a Grand swordmaster but using a wooden stuff is a little too amateur you know she probably thinks she can beat us but we already have two of her item come on this is going to be easy, you do the defending and I will do the attacking"

Famous last word too before she got humiliated in two seconds where she jumped her when my stuff is kinda heavy and I can't really move....

"So Erika... Any last word?"

She raised her wooden sword at my face wanting me to give up that easily without any fighting....

"Dream on you... You... Ummm I never got this far..."

"Wise choice"

She then jump quite high in the air... I guess most people with that much athletism is able to do it, and then she strike me down with her wooden sword luckily for me I got my shield up to block her attack but still for a wooden sword her attack really do an impact, she then chipping away and able to make me pushed back because of her attack.

"You can't shield your way out of this erika~ one more move and you out of the colosseum"

Before I could look I already got pushed enough that a few more of her attack can make me fall to the ocean.

"Yes I can fall but have you seen this move yet? CYNTHIA NOW"

"Huh?"

She quickly turned around and see Cynthia with her axe about to do a striking move to her, makoto then put the wooden sword to block Cynthia attack but the sword got sliced Into two then I raised my sword up to her back just slightly pocking her Back.

"....."

"Hah nice one Erika we did it we beat her"

"I guess the two newbie got you makoto, like I said before right? The two had potential you just have to see it"

"Well... I must agree to you again khirhan the two really does have potential... I onthe other hand... probably need more practice I'm getting rusty am I right?"

"Not at all you still are the grand swordmaster of the marinara kingdom no need to feel off, they have they victory this time so next time no need to hold back like this one"

"Hehehe.... You are one cheeky old man aren't you khirhan?"

"What me? No no no I'm just a normal person no superpower or anything..."

"And yet this 'normal' person is supposed to be the grand mage of Dracoria the infamous kingdom that known for their experience in war literally"

"You can say that again... So what about them? Need more training?"

"Nah let them be, they earn a day off beside the princess of marinara need you to do something"

Makoto gave khirhan an invitation letter but he just kept it in his robe, probably reading it later but now me and Cynthia celebrating it like we already beaten the last boss, I mean in easy mode since she using a wooden sword it's a progress but now let's just enjoy this memory.

Then all of us when back to our place to rest and as usual Cynthia counting her coin once again every single night before she sleep she always count her coin.

"Hey Cynthia is that like a habit of your? Counting coin? I know you like them but I don't know that much though"

"Nah I'm just being cautious since you know me I'm not good at managing my money"

So that's why she always run out of coin.

"And also I have this fox girl that in my hometown that she always manage to sell me ridiculous item that I don't need in my adventure, I mean they will happen someday but who knows she really sneaky you should be careful around her she can scam you too if you're not lucky"

So a somewhat merchant fox girl huh? And she's a scam artist too.... This world had so much thing I don't know....

"Well since she is at Aurelia I'm sure she's not going here and beside she rarely go out of her store her store has so many people lining up to buy her stuff"

"So she's not a scammer?"

"Probably just me and my luck, but she's a good merchant know her way to sell stuff and if you need a information she can do that too"

"Wow impressive"

"Mhmmm anyway Erika tomorrow still training session day better sleep fast or she will be angry and more harsh on our training since we beat her once"

I nodded and tucked my blanket then say goodnight to her, before I could asleep I was thinking about that fox girl maybe she can provide me with a information why I sent here and I can finally go back to my original world.

Next morning as usual but... There's no khirhan at the dining table except for the breakfast... And a note let's see...

Dear Erika (probably the one who read this)

Myself and makoto have an urgent Matter with the princess of marinara, she needs us to help her deal with some stuff about "bargaining" but don't worry I made you and Cynthia a breakfast as usual and also makoto said that you should take a day off of training, there's should be some money in the middle of the dining table so no need to worried about spending your own money on your day off.

As I look behind she's already there checking the pouch that khirhan gave in the sofa.

"Mhmmm as expected from khirhan he always so generous to us"

"Oh hi Erika I just woke up when you mentioned the part about khirhan lending you some money"

I snatched it out of her hand without her even bothering to take it away again.

"Geeze calm down no need to rush"

"He asked me to take care of it no need for you to do that Cynthia, and beside let's have a breakfast first without any interruption... And no counting coin on the table too Cynthia"

We finished of our breakfast and let her know that we don't need to train because we get a day off she relief and really really happy about it and decided to suggest that we should take this day to see marinara at it's finest.

I agree and we put on our usual clothes still bring our weapon just in case and head out Into the street of marinara, as we walking around it's really feel like I'm in France many people from other places but here it's the same but difference here there's a lot of other races sure there's human but there's also dwarf, elf, beastkin, dracorian, fish men... Damn this is a lively kingdom.

"Ouch"

"H-hey you okay Erika I just warned you to keep your eyes on the road when you day dreaming again"

This mysterious person just help me rather than my own partner here... I wish I could be... Oh no

Keira? Oh so this is the fox girl merchant that know her business too well, then the two glared at each other without a second Cynthia grabbed me and pull me to her side.

Then I got grabbed by Keira and she also pulled me to her side.

She got a point there, before I could talk Keira brushes some dust off of me and then Cynthia pulled me again Toher side.

"No offense that's how we communicate, even though we have some struggle we can come out of it very safe thank you very much"

And again got pulled over by Keira to her side.

"Oh my my Cynthia you never change maybe I should help your friend here to see what's good for her"

And then it begins, the great tug of war and me as the rope.... The tugging me to their own side until...

"Ahem what are you three doing? You three making a scene you know"

Khirhan you savior!!! Thank you thank you, I hug him while the two Cynthia and Keira still glaring at each other.

"Sis? What are you doing here?"

"Huh... Oh hi big brother I... Ugh... Yep know me I'm expecting some stuff that was about to come so I started my business here as a waiting for it to come hahaha...."

"Sister? Big brother? Wait wait khirhan you and this... Sneaky fox are siblings?"

"Y-yeah why don't you tell us you have a siblings before?"

Classic khirhan answer, then out of nowhere Keira also hug khirhan and point her finger at Cynthia.

The two again banter again and even pulling each other hair.

"S-so khirhan is this how your-"

"Mhmmm she's my little sister, and no even though we're not related we're still siblings like you know adopted"

"Mhmmm our family is also have different race like Marinara here"

Well I guess asking what her mother is kinda feel racist now maybe sometime I'll asked him.

They both say it at the same time.

Wow they do that the same time again khirhan is like a father figure... Well he does have a family so I'm not surprised by it.

Then khirhan bop the two after the two bickering who will give up first, then the two apologize at the same time

"Alright then as it settles down Erika you still holding to the pouch I gave you?"

"Good good I just warning you that be careful around my sister she can make you spend that money without any hesitation"

"Got it thanks khirhan, wait a minute where did you come from anyway?"

He then point where a group of knight, makoto and a princess who is standing in a street waiting for khirhan to join back to the journey they are currently doing.

"So what are you doing now?"

"Decrypting stuff and it's not going anywhere, but no worries you Cynthia and makoto will continue to training tomorrow if all according to our schedule"

"Come on khirhan can't we take a break for I don't know 1 week or more? Look even Erika agree with me isn't that right Erika?"

I just gave her a small nodding and smile at him, I know we should be continuing our training but having more day off is really a good idea

"Hahahaha sure sure I'll try to asked her that if it's not working then tomorrow she will wait for you two at the colosseum okay?"

"Promise" the two of us agree to his condition.

Then he goes of to the group, but the princess stop and look at the two of us like seeing us as a threat.... Why would she... And then she walked with the ground matching them.

"Yeah I noticed that too"

"Ahem you two do you need anything for instance a perfect-"

"No way you fox even though you're brother is the grand mage I don't wanna-"

"Cynthia relax she is just doing her business, no need to shout at her anyway... Do you have anything that like a perfume?"

She then pulled out on her backpack... Another backpack that has a title perfume, as she opened it she has so many perfume for everything literally everything..... No wonder khirhan told me that....

"Ahem what flavor scent you want dear customer? We have all of it and-"

"I want an orchid"

She wondered about what in the world is an orchid, and I know for a fact that there no single orchid in this world so that mean that I already crack her weakness and-

"Of course I have it if not then I'm not the best merchant in Aurendor continent"

Aha that's it I'll use a food that isn't from here and-

I take out and gave her the 20 coin she asked for the price.

And after that our day end by getting to our place and eat the food we bought with khirhan money, and most of it are Cynthia food recommendation... Well it's mostly just seafood around here so rarely we find some beef or chicken meat I just hope tomorrow we don't bump into keira again.... She will trick me again and... Oh wow the perfume really do smell good.... As expected from a professional merchant.... Oh wait... I should've asked her about something to return back home ARGGGHHHHHH WHY AM I SO STUPID!!!!! ugh... Let's just continue it tomorrow....
