From Idol to Adventurer : how hard can it be right?

After we all agreed to train with makoto she offered an inn nwxt to her blacksmith shop, it's a big inn nonethless and probably a good way to get some sleep rather than we used to during our walk to marinara.

After adressing our room i'm with cynthia.... great.... and mr khirhan is next door well i was hoping that i could be his room mate but makoto said that he already has a wife so yeah no chance i will be his dormmate.

Well nothing better than a Cynthia anyway perhaps I just need to be closer to her and maybe she will opened up why she behave like this.

"Say Cynthia.... Why do you become an Adventurer anyway? I mean most girls like me and you probably sit nice In a Cafe or helping they're family out" while sitting on my own bed arranging my little to no stuff.

"Hmmm let's see... I just wanna have some money I guess"

Typical Cynthia answer...

"But..."

Wait... There's more?

"There's this one time in my childhood life, there's a person I like he is a adventurer he is awesome not gonna lie"

"So what's your saying is... A random dud who is a adventurer is make you want to become a adventurer?"

"Mhmmm he also wear this cool looking armor too"

"It's heavy isn't?"

"You read my mind Erika I tried doing it in my first time as a adventurer and it's really like no joke heavy that's why I recommend you to wear just a slight armor"

Wow... She care about me... Never knew the gold digging Cynthia Atsuki would be care about me....

"And also it could save me some coin if you want to repair your armor since we're now a team you know"

And there's go my hope of her care for me rather than her coin obsession

"Oh yeah I wanna asked another thing Cynthia"

"Sure go ahead Erika, there's nothing for me is personal... Except me and my coin"

Again.... Her coin obsession...

"Anyway are you going to believe that makoto is willingly.... Out of her heart.... Train us and also willingly again... Upgrade our stuff? She seems sketchy you know...."

"Nah you're just too cautious about the fact a friend of khirhan is willingly to offered us an upgrade you know she is the grand swordmaster and also a blacksmith that's a combo you know"

She saying it like it's a normal and casual thing... I mean yeah it is but surely it's not right?, After that she suggested that we should sleep don't want to not impressed the one and only grand swordmaster she said.... I have some bad feeling about her already and it's not just one.

Morning arises and khirhan knocked on our door that our breakfast is ready... And Cynthia well.. looking at her she probably won't waking up earlier even if I try to so how about I get in first on the breakfast line.

"Good morning khirha.... wow... Did you do"

Looking at the dining table there's a lot of eye catching food... I know I'm not from here but this is the most temptingly food course I ever seen even in my old past live....

"Mhmmm I made it myself I learned a thing or two when you get married you know hahaha"

"Wow your wife must be the greatest chef ever if her husband making this... Delicacy of a royal dish"

"Too much praising for someone like me go on eat your breakfast I'm going to wake her up since she's probably sleeping am I right?"

I nodded since he probably mentioned Cynthia and her way of sleeping, even though I don't know what almost all of this...

He then get back and... He carrying her on his shoulder.... Great... She's so sleepy that khirhan had to pick her up.... And put her right across me at the dining table, her face just plopped down at the table while khirhan sigh at her actions, he then proceed to whispering something into Cynthia ear that makes her instantly waking up and hit khirhan Chin along the way.

"Mr khirhan are you okay? If Cynthia gave you a headache I can punch her if you wanted to"

"Hehehe no need no need just a minor bump, anyway glad that you are awake Cynthia"

"NEVER DO THAT AGAIN" Cynthia said while pointing at khirhan,

"If I didn't do that you will be sleeping all day long hahaha" as he gets up and going back to his chair remind the two of us to eat the breakfast and go to makoto blacksmithing shop, while he wanted to go to the Kingdom marketplace to look for stuff for our next trip.

As we depart and heading to next door which is makoto blacksmithing shop, as we entered there was none.... Not even makoto or her forge is on.... So she isn't here yet.... Great....

"No sign of makoto.... So what do we do now Cynthia?"

"Well I guess we could look around at her collection since we can't lifted up any of her weapon since she put a spell on it, so just sight seeing is good enough for me" she said while shrugging off looking at the different kinds of weapon makoto had for a someone called the grand swordmaster.

After awhile of waiting she Arive with a bunch of material she dropped off of by her own.

"Phew what a relief carrying all of this material is no easy joke hahaha...."

..... Both of us are silence in awe because the material she brought is... A lot.... Wait a minute....

"Miss makoto are we going to start tra-" before I even finished my word makoto interrupt me by shushing my mouth and she nodded

"Well of course we're going to started now prepared your blacksmithing apron we're forging some stuff"

Yup my one true fear being used to get something... Typical... But she is the grand swordmaster she probably know that we're going to training right?.... Right?....

"Yup help with my forging and then we continue on our training"

Okay that doesn't sound that bad, after awhile of helping her hammering forging making sword armor and other stuff me and Cynthia eventually tired out from the stuff we do... And this isn't even the training.... And it's already evening we just help her doing her chores for a DAY WITH NO BREAK OR RESTING!!!

"Miss makoto... umm when are we going to train?"

"Yeah my arm already sloppy look" Cynthia showed her hand that looks like a Jello

"Alright alright ladies we're going to do it tomorrow"

"Really?!!!" We both said it with full excitement

"After we done with my stuff"

And then we flopped down to the floor, and then someone knocked makoto door it turned out to be khirhan after a day not meeting with him we eventually go to him and asked to leave, makoto explain that we're just some minor things in her shop but in reality... It's some labor that people do.

He then proceed to carry us both in his hand like a bag of food in his side to the inn makoto saved us for.

"So how was it?" He sat down at one of the sofa across us

"It was torturous, we spent our full day just forging stuff... FORGING!!! NOT EVEN TRAINING KHIRHAN" Cynthia really hate it while saying that she even said some nonsense thing that we not even do.

"Hehehe... Well well well... It appears that she likes your spirit"

"Huh?" We both confused about what he said

"Mhmmm to test if you two are worthy she always does that to her disciples or someone who try to learn from her, to proof that you two are worthy of her knowledge... I mean I'm probably going to do the same thing but different from her so it's the same thing that we Grand Master do"

"You too?.... There's no way you also do that... Right?" I said it that I can't believe he the most generous person THE perfect person in this whole adventure scheme... Damn

"Mhmmm... Knowledge is key to everything if you aren't deem worthy by the beholder then you aren't worthy to have any knowledge learned by it"

Damn... So in the end we need to rely on hardworking for passing to be worthy by her... Well I mean it is true if we aren't ready for it then we can't just used it out of the blue.

"So same day as tomorrow? Labo-... I mean more hardwork huh?" I said while almost saying labor

"Hahahaha yeah probably... new day new stuff you know maybe tomorrow you get to train with her she's amazing you know" khirhan said while he get up and try to leave to make dinner

"I doubt that she probably will force us more labor you know that's how she Invision us, a free labor worker" Cynthia shrugged and plopped her head on my lap

"Hey Cynthia!? Find your own pillow not my thigh"

"Why not I'm tired from the labor that makoto gave me"

"Me too and I don't have any pillow like you using my thigh"

"Too slow blee hehehe"

she sticking her tongue out.... Damn you blue furball.. I know one trick of my sleeve also Cynthia Atsuki~

"Mr Khirha-"

"No funny" Cynthia instantly gets up and plopped into the other sofa while sticking her middle finger out to me.... Well I can't do that since I'm an Idol... But that's my past life... Can I... No no no no my dignity as an idol will be ruined well I guess tomorrow is a new day huh?....
