Forced Wedding; A Weird Freaky Love

Chapter 6: Bite his head off

Quens Ayadmie Belkhodja Coldguard is a woman of remarkable physical beauty, a quality that is evident in her four children, especially her three sons. It is noteworthy that all six individuals bear a striking resemblance to one another, displaying a familial likeness that is simultaneously that of siblings instead of children and parents. The children seem to be copies or doubles of each of their parents, with younger versions.

In addition to her physical beauty and striking figure, the woman is of noble descent, belonging to an Italian-Arab and African-German aristocratic family. She exemplifies a fascinating combination of exotic complexity and ethnic eccentricity that evokes a deep emotional response.

Moreover, her eccentricity can be attributed to the fact that she represents four different ethnic groups, each proud of its unique cultural heritage. She was born to be self-sufficient and every other name they call her.

It could be perceived as a curse that has manifested itself in her life, as evidenced by the fact that during her childhood no boy was ever considered suitable for her company. In addition, her friends held her in high esteem and considered her a divine being.

This was a source of pride for her, as her physical beauty was unparalleled. She exuded a kind of power over those around her, to the extent that she occasionally displayed a lack of self-awareness.

She was prone to finding faults in those with whom she interacted, including both boys and girls. No one was immune to her judgments, especially males who sought her attention. She would identify deficiencies that people of sound mind would not normally look for or notice with naked eyes. However, she was able to identify these flaws and vocalize them without regard for the feelings of the other person.

Because of her self-absorption and sense of entitlement, she viewed her friends' admiration for her as unquestioning adoration, and allowed herself to act with impunity until her peers collectively determined that she was beyond their pale and even labeled her unstable.

Some of them decided collectively for the sake of their own mental state it was better to avoid her company, which didn't affect her in any way possible, it was a good riddance instead.

Anyway, those hideous creatures only knew how to tarnish her image, it was only out of courtesy that she accepted them as friends, and because they knew how to stroke her ego well. If they decided to leave on their own, that was their business, so no one could accuse her of being something she wasn't. She did her best, and it wasn't her fault if people didn't understand her efforts to fit in.

After some of them leave, despite the lack of company, let's say admirers she doesn't feel burdened or hurt. On the contrary she strived to be better, making her treacherous worshipers feel like they were some hindrance in her life.

Sure, they were!

Her parents didn't have a different experience though. Even those who gave birth to her sometimes felt overwhelmed by her demanding manners, her haughty attitude, and her excessive arrogance. It was as if she felt far above them, even though it was thanks to them that she had this magnificent genetic gift of which she was so proud.

It's not wrong to say that she disliked them.

It was a relief for her parents when they married her off to Pekon, who was more than happy to take her as his wife.

Since they had more than one child, they didn't feel the need to spend a fortune on her wedding, as she'd said she was entitled to but they did their best.

It was a good thing, really!

At that time, her parents could see in Pekon's eyes that he didn't care the way their daughter was and he loved her anyway with all her flaws, so there was no point in thinking twice. It was more than a good deal for them! At least they knew he would treat her well, not like some prize or anything of that sort.

They knew Pekon was a well-educated young man, despite his wealth and talent, however, he was always kind and respectful to his in-laws, and to this day, he's still the same charming young man who asked for their daughter's hand in marriage with stars in his eyes!

They can't say the same for their daughter, who is becoming increasingly unreasonable with each passing day. They even thought she might one day raise the sky on her head and blow it away if the stars weren't what she thought they should be!

And with Pekon doting on her every second day as if they never grow cold to each other, it won't take long in their opinion.

However, Pekon was the only one who had caught Quens eye. He was athletic, intelligent, and he was also very handsome when he was young. And for everyone's misfortune, he's matured into a finer version of his young self, a Greek god.

They were destined to meet!

Many of her so-called friends or those who had left her wished her ill and called her names behind her back, they despised her to their heart's content. They all wanted to see if she would dare to raise her head in front of them after treating them like freaks when she had lost everything that made her so arrogant and haughty.

Her fake friends were so excited for her to find the perfect man she was clamoring about, they even wished he might be nothing but smoke and mirrors!

They were so excited for the guy to turn out to be a quack, a brute who would beat her, cheat on her, and hate her. They were willing to do anything for her! But she rejected them without any consideration or pity. Oh, wouldn't it be great to see her grovel before them for a change!

Some even wanted her to be left alone, without anyone to accompany her. They wanted her to come back like a bitch, begging them to take her with them so they could treat her like shit—like she didn't even deserve to be their mistress, let alone their dog.

But, as luck would have it, those naughty dreams and wicked desires never came to fruition because Pekon was the polar opposite of what they wanted for her. And that's when they had a lightbulb moment: "There really is prejudice in heaven!" She has everything while others have nothing.

Quens' first encounter with Xander was a total game-changer! He blew her mind away like she was a candle on a windowsill!

Pekon put her in all her states without even knowing it—and it was incredible! She was absolutely thrilled to find out that such a person could really exist! She was absolutely certain that the perfect man she was looking for only existed in books. People tried to tell her that such a man didn't exist, but she knew better!

She spent a sleepless night thinking about him, how he overpowered the players of the opposing team, and how he scored high in the oral competition on various subjects without fail. She was amazed at his abilities!

That's how she knew there was no one in the world more made for her than this beautiful interracial god who seemed to be cut from the same cloth as her. With Nigerian, Arab, Indian, and Hawaiian grandparents, an Egyptian father and a Pakistani mother, and being Hawaiian himself, he was a jackpot.

A fine specimen, even finer than she was, and Pekon was rich, very rich.

She was absolutely thrilled that she never let any of those idiots who chased after like primate in heat never touch her! She was destined for so much more than just rubbing shoulders with those filthy people who don't understand what she represents!

Who knows where she would be today, huh? She would probably be old and ugly at the prime of her life with a bunch of children who have nothing of her, having inherited everything from their idiotic father who knows nothing but using her as a layer and discarding her when she was no longer productive.

Oh, hell no! She knew better than anyone.

This incredible destiny for which she was destined was to be with Pekon, as anyone with eyes can see!

Just look at her today! She's still radiant and fulfilled, striving for happiness without a single ugly wrinkle to spoil her boundless beauty. It's incredible! She just gets more beautiful and younger every day. Isn't that wonderful? It really is!

She left the room with these images of her first meeting with Pekon in her mind which put her in a good mood at once. She'd almost forgotten that she was on the verge of questioning her decision to marry her daughter so young to someone the girl did not love. But she was determined not to do so.

She strode purposefully to the clearing, humming a cheerful tune to keep her spirits up. She wasn't going to see her daughter before the ceremony was over. She needed to resolve this issue once and for all.

She wasn't going to let herself be swayed and lose sleep over something so trivial and stressful, especially when it was affecting her stunning appearance. Her daughter needed to grow up and learn some valuable lessons today. She had to stay strong for her daughter's sake!

She didn't want to undo all her hard work just minutes before the big day. What was the point of going to all the trouble if she was just going to back down?

She knew the makeup artists and hairdressers would do a great job on her daughter, so why bother supervising everything? She can get someone else to do this little task because no one would dare override her instructions.

This is a simple task, so it's not a problem at all.

Besides, she has no problem with that side of things. Everything is already perfect, right? She just has to wait until after the ring and vow ceremony. She can see them at the reception; it won't kill her.

She's just avoiding any confrontation that her presence might cause if she dares to venture into Kelsey's room. Playing the ostrich for now seems like the perfect strategy, even if it itches to see what her daughter looks like after makeup. But since she has already chosen everything, she pinches herself to stay put for a moment, there's more at risk here

It's a bit unusual for a mother to think of getting rid of her daughter like this, but Quens sees no harm in it, except that she's doing her duty as a parent. Her parents did the same with her, so why can't she?

She arrived at the clearing looking more radiant than ever. People were amazed that she could stay so teenage-fresh at forty-four! When she walked into the clearing, everyone turned to look at her.

She had a presence that was truly incredible, which commanded respect and admiration from all. She walked with her head held high, not paying attention to the cameras pointed at her. She seemed born to be in the spotlight, she is in her element.

She greeted a few close friends with a small, charming smile and a slight nod of the head as she passed by. She would have added a few hand's wave here and there if she could have managed it. These people don't deserve too much of her attention and energy. She greets them out of courtesy.

She made her way to the front of the seats reserved for close relatives of the bride and groom. The left side was for the groom, and the right side was for the bride. She sat with a confident, graceful posture, her back straight and her head held high, as if she owned the world itself. She was Italian by blood and origin, with a beautiful blend of Arab, and other bloodlines after all.

After she passed, the angels and fairies started raining petals from the sky again, excited for the groom to arrive with his mother. Meanwhile, the most beautiful music is played softly by the most talented seraphim the ColdGuard could create, while playing the lute, lyre, harp, zither, trumpet, and other basic instruments. The atmosphere is filled with joy and harmony!

Meanwhile, Xander arrived at the door of his daughter's suite, where he paused to take a deep breath, trying to control himself so as not to falter. The discussion was already over and his daughter had already accepted her fate.

He was so proud of her! There was no way he was going to bore her with the whys and wherefores of why she didn't drop everything and run far, far away, even to another planet if necessary.

He entered the room, glanced at the waiter, who seemed to be at the end of his tether from standing for more than three hours, even though he was the third one at that post during the day. Pekon dismissed him with a shake of his head, "It's time for this poor boy to take a break." He mumbled under his breath.

He loves his wife, but he's never understood her eagerness when it comes to holding events, it's beyond him.

The waiter bowed slightly before making a military detour, as if he was in front of a senior officer, and left, leaving father, son and daughter alone.

Pekon crossed the room with his head held high and mingled with the small gathering of the siblings, without the presence of the makeup artists and the others who had to reluctantly leave the room when their work was done, leaving the young people to their privacy.

They had spent more than nine hours preparing Kelsey for her wedding, and they could have easily spent another ten if asked, but work is work.

"So here we are on the big day, huh? The day my little girl will go far away from me to find another man who is not me." Xander announced bitterly, "and yet we had agreed that you would stay within my walls until you were thirty." He paused as if he understood that he did exactly what he didn't want to.

"But hey, we will not discuss this again, but I have no intention of taking back my ring anytime soon. You keep it until you don't want it anymore, or until you're thirty, or at least until the day you feel like you belong, okay?" He really doesn't want to see her go, especially not into the arms of someone who was forced upon her.

Xander tries with all his being to remain calm and cool, like a father who has made a final and decisive decision, but in the face of those four pairs of olive eyes, each one a shade lighter or darker than the other, fixed on him, he has lost all his bearings.

He's always been a great dad to his kids. He's loving, protective, and affectionate. He's never raised his voice to them, not once since he never felt the need to do so. He's always tried to be a better father than his own, he had promised himself to be a decent human being.

So he feels helpless and overwhelmed by the whole situation, and their look makes him even more nervous and guilty. He feels like he's let them down, like he's abandoned them. He's really ashamed of himself!

He's always had a soft spot for his kids, maybe because he has such a strong bond with their mom and they look just like her or maybe it's for a completely different matter . He doesn't know much about it, but one thing's for sure: despite his wealth, these four kids are his real fortune.

And then, in their family, they don't pretend to be a happy and loving family just to keep the public happy. They really are, except that certain everyday problems and the inconveniences of being parents and teenagers sometimes come along and disrupt this peaceful harmony that didn't bother him one bit.

They all found their father's feeble attempt at emotional control pretty funny. He's never been good at it. He's pretty open about everything, so their mom manages almost everything related to the kids with an iron fist. Otherwise, they'd be too spoiled to live next to them.

They're not angry with him, and they don't blame him for what happened to their sister. They all know what their mother is like and that their father always made sure they had a way out with her.

"Don't worry, old man, I'm fine. The four of you look like you are at a funeral while we are about to celebrate my wedding. What is wrong with you?" Kelsey scolded them, looking at them tenderly as if they were children. She knew their concern for her was real and sincere, and it touched her deeply, but it was too late to change anything.

Just as she was finishing her little scolding, a gong sounded throughout the compound. It was the groom's entrance signal, he was ready to take his place and await the handing over of his future wife.

Everyone winced at the sound of the gong and looked up at the ceiling. It was as if they were looking at this gong of misfortune, indicating that it was time to go to the electric chair, which sounded throughout the villa with extraordinary force, making the floor and walls vibrate.

After glancing at the ceiling for a moment, as if they were looking at the gong of misfortune that signaled their doom, they all turned at the same time to their only daughter and sister, their eyes full of tenderness, hidden emotions, unspoken words, suppressed tears, and total support.

They all think there's still time, but their sister and daughter's determined look stops them from saying it out loud. They respect her and trust her too much to question her decision. If she says she can handle it, that means she can handle it.

They stay silent for a few minutes, before Kelsey speaks up. No one minded their silence. It seemed like they'd all agreed to send her good vibes before she got started with this arranged marriage.

"Hey guys, could I ask you a favor? After thinking about it, I think I can afford to change my mind," She announced a little hesitantly, four pairs of eyes turned to her excitedly. Kwanley and Tash were over the moon, pumped their fists in the air as if they'd just won the lottery.

But they can be more in control of their emotions than that, Kwanley decides to smile and nod as if to encourage his sister's decision, just as his father does without saying a word. But Tash still took the lead. If he can't let his joy overflow as he pleases, then he can contribute.

"So where are we taking the jet? We'll have to avoid Mother's wrath for three months or more until she calms down a bit and listens to us peacefully. Then we'll be free to go wherever we want!" Tash chimed in with obvious joy, his eyes twinkling with a wide, generous smile that he displayed without embarrassment. And his cheerful tone! We won't even talk about it. He was just waiting for it, and he was ready!

Tekori comes to put an arm around his neck with a smug laugh, just as happy and enthusiastic as his little brother. They're overjoyed and ready for this moment, and they're not afraid to show it!

"I'm going on an amazing trip! I don't want to spend my time here on the island waiting for Mother to calm down. I want to travel the world with you until I'm thirty, which means it will take us a while to come back here." He chuckled even more at his own words.

The coming days will be fun and full of adventures!

"Oh, that wasn't what we agreed on." Their father joined the conversation. He felt like he needed to get all these travel ideas sorted before they got out of hand. He's fine with them leaving right away, but they have to keep up with their studies.

The four of them turned sharply towards him and looked at their father with a mix of curiosity and defiance, as if they were ready to challenge him at any moment. After all, he had agreed that Kelsey should cancel the wedding, right? Why was he raising his voice now? They were curious to know what had upset their father.

"Hey, can I ask you not to give me those fierce, disapproving, disappointed looks? They're making me feel pretty bad here. I'm always up for anything you want to do. It's just that you're not dropping out of school." Xander quickly added before someone decided to take matters into their own hands and bite his head off in a fit of anger.

When he saw them breathe again and stop frowning, he felt almost relieved. The danger was over.

"Your studies are important. You are the future leaders of our holdings. You are intelligent, but you still need to educate yourself. After that, you're free to go, but don't forget to behave well. Your reputation precedes you, and in our circle, that's something not to be neglected. Billionaires or not, people are always looking for the slightest flaw to bring you down. Don't give them an excuse to do that, because that's what makes us men and women, not the money we have."

They all let out a sigh of relief, not even realizing they had been holding their breath. They thought they might have to challenge their father to get their little sister out of there. Thank goodness that's not the case!

They love their father too much to challenge him.

On top of that, Pekon isn't raising Simonne couche-toi la and Persimmon who anyone can mistreat or bully anytime they want to.

They have every right to defend themselves if they're attacked, but they can't deliberately start fights with people just because they're rich and can do whatever they want with a snap of their fingers. He raised them better than that.

Even their mother isn't exempt from this retaliation. If she's the one who's in the dark and has failed to uphold the family precept, they have the right to defend themselves. So they've set up a system that works for everyone.

Pekon has seen and heard many families lose themselves because of family problems, and he didn't want to alienate his children. He loves his family, and each birth has brought him a different kind of joy, they are his blessings. He wants this to last until he becomes senile and returns to his natural state, dust or light.

Kwanley let out a bitter laugh, almost as if he were mocking his father's words. "We are Coldguard, dad. Even if we behave well, they will always find things to say, stories to make up, and other nonsense to tarnish our image. Our family name is a bit of a magnet for trouble and tarnished reputation. Besides, it doesn't matter if the accusations against us are true or not. People just believe everything they hear in the media and will apologise when proven wrong."

"I know, I know, sweetheart. So be clear with yourself and don't give them a chance to damage your reputation. Make sure you're not doing anything you'll regret or that will weigh on your conscience. As long as you're free and at peace with who you are, everything is fine. I just want my kids to know how to handle the pressure they'll face in the real world." Xander told them, looking them in the eye.

They all nodded enthusiastically, like children being given candy. Their father's way of thinking was always very refreshing. He always encourages self-esteem, self-love, and inner peace.

He's never wavered from this approach. It's a core belief for him, and he wants his children to embrace the same principles to live a happy and meaningful life. It's not about pleasing others, but about being at peace with oneself.

After all, there's nothing more fulfilling than feeling guilt-free, right?
