After the three konoha ninjas left, the forest returned to its natural silence as the sun set on the horizon creating a picture-perfect scene of tranquility, only a couple feet away lay the badly mutilated corpse of Hugo a chunin who had a blick future filled with struggle before death like most civilian ninjas during this period.

But about 60 days ago Hugo began training harder, he improved his chakra levels and control through exercises, and he improved and even created new Jutsus, and with this strength, he began completing more missions building himself a good reputation for being a strong and component Genin with decent potential.

This led to him getting promoted to Chunin without any exams causing Hugo to think he might had a chance but in reality, this was the Mist Village's scheme to boost their numbers of the fodder since none of the Major Clans and Family where not willing to join the war effort without any security.

The Mist Village hoped to fill the spots left by the ninja who passed in the 2nd Great Ninja War with underqualified ninjas to appear stronger, and also allow them more access to fodder ninjas, instead of having to use real Chunin and Jonin they could just send out the weak and newly promoted ninjas.

This strategy was equivalent to having a loaded rifle with dummy rounds pointed at the other Great Nations, but it also this did led to the other Great Nations investigating this sudden increase in man manpower.

These investigations turned from the secret to having open skirmishes at Mist Village's borders to not only test their power but also all the Great Nation collectively decided to weaken Mist if their investigation bore fruit.

But after some digging the Great Nations found out the truth and quickly lost interest but some where unsatisfied, one of those people were Donzo Of The Root who wanted Kahona to start a war with the Great Nations. Unfortunately for him all the Kahona was still in the healing process from the last war, the only Village still openly budding head with them was the Iwagakure which could be managed with time.

So Kahona higher-ups and Clan heads all opposed war instead opting for healing and strengthing the future generations, and with the death of White Fang Sakumo Hatake two years ago and Jiraiya temporary leaving weakened Kahona. Even with all this Donzo of course found a way of creating a conflict between Kahona and Kirigakure.

Sadly, Hugo was just one of the many casualties caught up in a large schemes that involved the Great Nations....

[Unknown Amount Of Time Later]

'Where am I,' thought Hugo in a dark place, he sat himself up bearly able to see his hands and then it hit him, 'Ohh Shit, I died again a second time, hmm, did I get transmigrated again, please let it be somewhere less dangerous than that hell hole called the Naruto world!'

Hugo remember when he first entered the body of that Genin and how he was excited at first until he realized he didn't have a golden finger or any powerful bloodline, turning a deam into a nightmare. He also remembered the 30 people he killed even thought he had only been in the Naruto world for two months, the countless nights he spent have PTSD, living on edge barely getting any sleep, and lasty he recalled the few people he made friends with all dying in horrible ways.

Hugo pushing these memories to back of his head stood up before he felt his face, body, and clothing, and it came to him causing his face to turn sour, 'WTF, I'm still in the Naruto world, I have the same clothing I died in and even my facial features and hair are the same.'

Coming to this revalation didn't make Hugo happy instead it caused his guard to come up as he reach for a kunai getting into a fighting stance ready to fight, 'Fuck, shit, fuck, If I'm still were I died then those Iwagakure Ninjas probably isn't that far,' thought Hugo trying his hardest to pierce the dark with his normal eyes but when he was growing more fearful he saw a translucent number in the lower right corner of his vision.

When he focused on the bottom right corner he saw a 100x confusing him about it's function but a smile still grow on his face.

'Th... This can't be, I've awakened a system,' thought Hugo in jubilation even to the point of screaming until he remembered where he was so without hesitation Hugo's ninja training and survival skills to over, he quickly formed hand signs before placing his hands on the ground.

*Earth Release: Plowing Mole Rat*

Hugo's body began terraforming into the ground as he sunk into the ground about 50 feet before he thought surround by soul and rocks not daring to open his mouth, 'I know this drains Chakra ever second and I can't hid from sensory ninja but it better that just standing in the open, also with my current level of chakra and as long as I don't move I can maintain this ninjutsu for about 8 minutes.'

Hugo relaxed as he focused his attention on the 100x once agian and despite the dark soil around him it still glowed in a warm white light.

'Hmmm, what are these supposed mean,' thought Hugo not understanding what was going on with the the system, he then focused in his mind saying all types of things to get the system to work, 'Activate... System Awaken... ummmm, system please greet your HOST...'

After a quick pause Hugo frustration grew, 'Damn, what the actual fuck, what else do you want me to say, abracadabra!,' screamed Hugo in his head before he notice two minutes pasted which wasted about 1/4 of his chakra causing him to focus on the surroundings.

'Huh, wait,' thought Hugo feeling he was very deep under ground scaring him, even though he wasn't a senor ninja, using the Earth Release: Plowing Mole Rat jutsu still allowed him to tell how deep he was underground.

Using Earth Release: Plowing Mole Rat Hugo could decend into the earth and travel short distances, the max amount of feet he could decend was 50 feet into the earth but currently Hugo was very deep underground to the point he wasn't even surrounded by soil instead by bedrock.

Confused Hugo quickly made his way back to the surface while noticing it took him the same time to ascended as he would if he was only 50 feet in the ground, 'Hmm, why as I reaching the top so fast, I know I was at least 300+ in the ground since I was inside of bedrock so it should take me about 4 or 5 minutes to reach the surface.'

When Hugo got to the surface it was still pitch black in the night but instinctually Hugo leaped on a tall tree branch to cover his location cursing in his head, 'Damn, I can't just sit here with my dick in my hand wasting chakra, I'll figure out the system later. I have to find a way back to safety but lucky for me have a compass seal and i know my general location, so finding a another base shouldn't be impossible.'

Hugo was assigned border duty for two months before he was allowed to enter back into the Mist Village, in Kirigakure, ninjas could take up missions of their choice but ever so often they were assigned to a mandatory missions which range from Border Duty to simply Guard the Village's walls.

Border Duty paid very well but also it was just as dangerous, it was almost generated that a skirmishes against bandits, missing-nin, and other nations would happen but lucky for Hugo he was assigned to the borders facing Land of Fire and Land of Whirlpool which was very peaceful when Kirigakure wasn't trying to steal territory. Hugo heard terrible stories out the border facing the Land Of Lighting which was filled with struggles and death, what made it so bad was that Kirigakure and Kumogakure fought over who had the right to the Kiri Sea or the Kumo Sea depending on who you asked.

Not only that but Kumogakure was very aggressive toward any Kirigakure ninjas for almost no real reason but to just be dickhead because they had more powerful forces.

When Hugo was still in thought he heard a big explosion coming from south of his location thinking, 'Shit, there must be a fight over there, it has to between the Kirigakure and Kahona, should I go?'

'Fuck no, I already died once but also if I don't go and the Kirigakure Ninjas win and leave I'll miss my opportunity of finding strong allies and a safe place,' thought Hugo and after some reasoning he chose to go toward the fight slowly and cautiously while recovering his lost chakra.
