Fairy Tail: Strongest Creature

Chapter 122: Introduction

"What's with this…?"

Natsu flexed his fists, showing off his muscles. "I'm all you need! We don't need help from any other guild!"

Plenty of Fairy Tail's mages felt it was strange to join forces with other guilds. The Fairy Tail guild was huge and, in their eyes, quite powerful—why rely on outsiders?

Erza said, "The Master must've thought about what might happen afterward."

After all, once they took down Oración Seis, it was likely the rest of the Balam Alliance would retaliate. Even if Fairy Tail was strong, facing all three dark guilds together was too risky.

High atop a cliff in a vast sea of trees…

Oración Seis, that infamous guild from the Balam Alliance, was gathering.

"It's already begun: the fall of light." Cobra, one of the Oración Seis, peered across the sprawling forest below.

Racer—known here as "Lisa" but typically called "Racer" in canon—responded, "Don't be hasty, Cobra. Acting too fast's never good."

"This is where that magic lies, Lisa," Cobra insisted.

"That so-called magic that summons true darkness, destroying all light…"

"Nirvana," Brain, the leader of Oración Seis, intoned. "Finally, the legendary spell falls into our hands."

Lisa—or Racer—looked doubtful. "Is it so worth wanting? This magic called Nirvana."

"It's enough to wither the earth around it," Brain said, pointing at the sickly trees. "Just being near Nirvana drains life. All of it will be ours."

Somewhere high above the Ishgar continent, a flying battleship navigated the clouds. This was the headquarters of Grimoire Heart, the strongest dark guild on the continent.

Ultear—once a Council member—stood there, using a rolling crystal ball to communicate with the guild's informants scattered around Ishgar.

"Oración Seis is stirring," she noted. "What's our plan, Master Hades?"

"Let them make a fuss," Hades replied, unbothered. "When the light-worshiping fools respond, we'll take advantage of the chaos to continue searching for the key to unseal Zeref. Maybe we'll stumble across a few helpful clues…perhaps even Fairy Tail itself."

A carriage rumbled down a rural road toward the meeting location.

"Why do I have to be part of this mission?!" Lucy lamented. She worried about how dangerous it would be—and also about her looming rent deadline.

Erza tried to reassure her. "The Master chose us, so we have to live up to that trust. Besides, Lucy, you might not need to fight."

Su Yan smiled. "I'll handle most of the combat. Your priority is to keep yourselves safe."

Initially, Master Makarov had selected Su Yan, Erza, and Gray. But Natsu demanded to come along, so Su Yan ended up bringing along Natsu and Lucy as well.

"Ugh…when will we get there?" Natsu groaned, nauseous from the carriage ride.

"Look!" Happy announced from the window. "That villa up ahead must be it!"

Soon, they alighted at a lavish villa—this was the gathering spot for the Allied Force.

"Kind of gaudy," Lucy remarked, noticing all the heart-shaped décor.

"This is the private villa of Bob, Master of Blue Pegasus," Erza explained.

At the mention of "Bob," Su Yan's expression stiffened. Years ago, at a guild masters' meeting, he'd seen Bob in person. Let's just say Su Yan wasn't eager to repeat the experience…

Suddenly, a spotlight flashed on.

"Friends from Fairy Tail, long time no see!"

"We are the Blue Pegasus elites!"

"The TRIMENS!!"

In unison, three handsome men struck flamboyant poses:

"Hibiki, the Hundred Night!" "Eve, the Holy Night!" "Ren, the Silent Night!"

"Huh? They're…really handsome," Lucy mumbled.

She glanced around at her own group. Natsu, queasy and half bent over, Gray half-dressed, Su Yan stoic (and, well, secretly a dragon). It was quite a contrast.

The three Blue Pegasus men instantly flocked around Erza, lavishing her with polite chatter.

"You're as beautiful as the rumors say."

"We've wanted to meet you, Titania!"

"Please, do come this way."

They offered Erza and Lucy hot towels and drinks, fussing over them like doting servants.

"That's so many Loki's in one place," Lucy whispered, overwhelmed.

Erza, more composed, nodded politely. "Likewise—it's good to be working together."

"Ahhh, how perfect," Hibiki said, his eyes sparkling.

Meanwhile, Ren shyly pushed a soda toward Lucy. "N-Not that I got it just for you or anything…"

"T-Tsundere?!" Lucy gasped.

Gray, who'd finally put his shirt back on, bristled, "What's with these guys?"

With the arrival of Fairy Tail's team, the Allied Force's operations were about to begin, and the fight against Oración Seis was officially underway.
