Chapter 1137: She's a Fairy Too
Yang Fei parked the Ferrari in a parking spot in the greenery in front of Phantom Moon Castle.
He got out of the car and chivalrously opened the car door for Stina, bending over and extending his hand to her.
"Beautiful Miss, please step out of the car."
Stina pursed her lips into a smile, placed her slender hand, wearing white gauze gloves, onto Yang Fei's hand, and gracefully got out of the car.
Stina glanced at Yang Fei and was momentarily stunned.
At this moment, Yang Fei was reserved and elegant, with an air of nobility that was not to be infringed upon. His demeanor was charming, and he exuded a strong presence.
How could this be the same old laid-back Jack? This guy looked more like a prince than the actual prince.
Yang Fei saw Stina's eyes shining, chuckled, and shrugged his shoulders.
"I told you long ago, don't be infatuated with me, I'm a legend."
It would have been better if he didn't speak; the moment he spoke, his true nature was revealed.
Stina spat and cursed with irritation.
"Narcissist, I'm warning you, once we're inside Phantom Moon Castle, don't speak carelessly. If you embarrass Prince George, I'll never forgive you."
Yang Fei rolled his eyes at her, ignored it, took out the invitation, and walked towards the entrance of Phantom Moon Castle.
In front of the marble arch, two rows of massive stone carved pillars were neatly arranged on both sides of the road.
At the end of the pillars, there was a music fountain, and on both sides of the music fountain, there were round arch doors.
At this moment, many balloons and ribbons were tied to the round arch doors, looking extremely grand.
George, accompanied by two or three followers, personally stood in front of the music fountain to welcome the guests.
He saw Yang Fei and Stina from afar and suddenly smiled slightly.
"Stina, Jack, you came just in time, help me greet the guests."
George's words were overly affectionate, and having Yang Fei and Stina replace him in greeting the guests was a significant mark of importance.
The three followers behind George immediately frowned, looked at Yang Fei with a somewhat provocative expression.
Stina quickened her pace, blushing as she looked at the graceful George.
George took Stina's hand, gently kissed the back of her hand.
"Stina, you look beautiful today."
Stina smiled and expressed her gratitude to George.
Yang Fei couldn't stand Stina's dreamy demeanor and squeezed forward to shake hands with George.
His tone was respectful but maintained his dignity: "Greetings, Your Royal Highness. May I help you with anything?"
George was pleased with Yang Fei's performance and lightly patted his shoulder.
"Keep an eye out for me. I'll be right back."
After saying this, George left.
The three followers glared at Yang Fei and followed behind George as they left.
Yang Fei sensed the hostility in the eyes of these three, and raised a middle finger at them.
Stina smiled softly and lowered her voice: "Ignore these three guys."
"They are George's capable subordinates and are inevitably jealous seeing you being favored by the prince."
As they were talking, a stretch Lincoln slowly drove to the front of the castle.
Two robust bodyguards quickly ran to the side of the Lincoln, opened the car door.
A tall and stout young man got out of the car, wearing a tailcoat, impeccably dressed, with features somewhat resembling George's.
Stina's expression suddenly became serious, and she tugged on Yang Fei's sleeve, whispering a reminder.
"Be careful what you say, Grand Prince Brown is here, he's Prince George's biggest rival."
Yang Fei, seeing the impressive presence of this guy, had already vaguely guessed.
He nodded his head, looked at Brown unperturbedly.
Brown stepped to the other side of the Lincoln, reached out to open the car door, and politely bent over and extended his hand.
From inside the car, a snow-white hand, wearing gold gauze gloves, was extended.
Then, an absolute beauty gracefully stepped out.
Everyone held their breath, somewhat dazed.
That beauty, amidst her elegance, carried a noble grace, as if an angel descended, radiating light all around her.
Yang Fei couldn't help but smile.
This stunning lady was none other than Princess Helen.
Stina, while considered a first-rate beauty attracting attention wherever she went, paled immediately in comparison when Helen appeared, becoming like a maid beside the princess.
Though Princess Helen was a downfallen princess, her noble birth nurtured her regal aura from a young age.
By comparison, Stina seemed a bit petty.
Brown kept gazing affectionately at Helen.
Such a breathtaking woman, there was no reason for him not to be moved.
Helen, however, kept her eyes lowered, neither rejecting Brown's support nor getting too close.
Yang Fei couldn't help but grin.
This Princess Helen was indeed a Fairy; it's precisely such women that drive men crazy.
Brown, supporting Helen, walked over, spotted Yang Fei and Stina, and frowned slightly.
"Where's George? Is he very busy?"
Yang Fei slightly bowed: "Greetings, Grand Prince."
"Prince George had to leave for something, he asked me to host the distinguished guests, please proceed?"
Brown scrutinized Stina and Yang Fei, finally focusing on Yang Fei, and smiled gently.
"This must be Engineer Jack, right? I've heard you saved George's life?"
Yang Fei shook his head: "No, it's Prince George's good fortune, destined by Heaven."
Upon hearing this, Brown's face immediately turned very unpleasant.
One fellow behind Brown shouted.
"Not kneeling before the prince, what audacity!"
According to ancient customs, ordinary people without a Duke title indeed needed to kneel when meeting a prince.
Yet, in this civilized society, these ancient and complex rituals are gradually disappearing.
This fellow's questioning was simply meant to embarrass Yang Fei.
Yang Fei cursed inwardly but remained calm on the surface and walked to Brown as if to kneel.
At that moment, Helen spoke, her voice pleasant like a bamboo flute.
"This is a private party, isn't unnecessary ceremony allowed?"
Brown initially just wanted to give Yang Fei a hard time, not intending to trouble him.
Now, hearing Helen speak, he smiled slightly and waved his hand.
"Forget it, don't let George say I bully his people."
After saying this, Brown turned to hold Helen's hand.
"My dear, shall we go in?"
Helen nodded, glanced at Yang Fei.
Her eyes flashed a subtle smile, then she and Brown together entered the castle gate.
Watching that group of people enter, Yang Fei disdainfully raised a middle finger at them, spat.
Stina found it amusing internally and said gently.
"You're the prince's favorite in front of George, so don't be surprised if Brown shows you his attitude. The open secret is that the two princes are competing openly and secretly."
The two continued greeting guests at the entrance, guests included almost all the noble clan disciples of the Greenworth Empire.
Among them were some promising sons of military families, notably the son of Imperial Admiral Lester, Kahn, was prominent.
Kahn, without looking away, greeted Stina and nodded slightly to Yang Fei before entering the gate.
For some reason, Yang Fei perceived a warning in Kahn's gaze.
The Turtle Extreme within him also issued a cryptic alert.
Yang Fei vaguely felt, today's party might not be as simple as he thought.
