Chapter 1347: Bewildering Movements (Part 2)
"Your Majesty of the Humans, the trolls monitored by the Dwarf Elves are in the same situation, with the five major troll tribes mobilizing simultaneously and heading towards the Gleaming Rift Valley in a grand procession!"
Broy wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and hurriedly spoke.
"Your Majesty of the Humans, it's the same with the Flower Fairies. I personally witnessed the Flower Fairy army swarming out from each city like a hive!"
Crisis's pale face was filled with panic, clearly showing deep apprehension towards these distant relatives.
"The Dragonborn army has also started moving, let's discuss this inside."
Leo Ray displayed an expression of expected anticipation, nodding to everyone.
Soon, Leo Ray and his group appeared in front of the giant magical sand table in the Command Hall of Ice Stone City, beginning to consolidate the current situation.
Based on the latest information provided by our allies and ourselves, as of now, the Minotaurs, Trolls, Flower Fairies, and Dragonborn four armies are almost simultaneously on the move, advancing grandly towards the Giant Valley direction.
As for the specific numbers, although it's hard to determine due to the cover of black night and various concealment tactics, according to estimates by Crisis and other top experts and leaders, each army's force is unlikely less than 30 Tier 3 Legions, and as for the Tier 4 Legions, their numbers are temporarily unknown, but each army is feared to have at least 2.
Upon reaching this conclusion, the atmosphere in the Command Hall instantly dropped to freezing point.
In other words, the four armies combined have at least a total of 120 Tier 3 Legions and 8 Tier 4 Legions.
Currently, the forces we have deployed on the Giant Valley side are 10 Tier 3 Legions of the Dwarf Elves and 5 quasi-Tier 3 Legions with slightly inferior combat power.
The Tree Spirits consist of 10 Tier 3 Legions, the Treants comprise 1 Tier 4 Legion and 2 Tier 3 Legions, so all combined, we only have 27 Tier 3 Legions and 1 Tier 4 Legion.
As for the Human Clan's 130 Legions, aside from 15 Legions of Tier 3 Powerhouses, the remaining over 100 Legions are all Tier 2, making them equivalent to around 25 Tier 3 Legions in total.
In other words, we have over 50 Tier 3 Legions combat power and 1 Tier 4 Legion, making our overall combat strength, as previously estimated, barely enough to contend against one army.
Facing two armies simultaneously, however, would undoubtedly lead to a highly passive situation.
Gazing at the giant sand table in front of him, Leo Ray's expression grew even more grave.
These numbers only account for the forces of various soldiers; when we include the Tier 6 Experts of such top combat power, according to Crisis, Broy, and others, our combat disparity against the opposing forces would undoubtedly widen further, placing us at a greater disadvantage.
After all, the quantity of Tier 6 Experts among the four major forces is around 30 each.
Whereas, the Tier 6 combat power we can currently dispatch comprises only 10 Dwarf Elf Alchemy Puppets, 7 Wood Fairy elders including Crisis, 15 Treant elders including Shuert, along with Elder Bing, Grey Elder, Yonir, and Little Jie, making the situation evident.
"Your Majesty of the Humans, the Wood Fairies have 3 severely injured Tier 6 Elders, 1 Tier 4 Legion, and 10 quasi-Tier 3 Legions. Although the soldiers have suffered from mana depletion, making them difficult to unleash full strength in a short time, they can still enter battle if necessary!"
Feeling the increasingly somber mood in the Command Hall, Crisis's starry eyes firmed as she spoke first.
"Your Majesty of the Humans, the Dwarf Elves can also mobilize 25 more Tier 2 Legions and are working day and night to repair the Alchemy Puppets. It won't be long before more Dwarf Elf soldiers can join the battle!"
Broy echoed solemnly along.
Despite the significant losses suffered by the Dwarf Elf's most elite Tier 4 Legion in dispersing the Dragon Mirage during the Dragon Nest battle, resulting in most Alchemy Puppets losing their combat power, with Leo Ray's assistance, given some time, the Dwarf Elves could quickly recover and become even stronger.
"My apologies, Your Majesty of the Humans, but the Treants currently cannot commit more strength."
Shuert sighed softly, shaking his head helplessly.
The Treants already have limited numbers, and added to the severe losses during the Dragon Nest battle, many strong members have turned into withered trees, something everyone witnessed.
"Elder Excellency, there's no need to apologize. The Treants were the greatest contributors in the Dragon Nest battle. It's now our time to shine."
Leo Ray nodded to Shuert, then looked towards Broy and Crisis, nodding slightly: "I understand both of your sentiments. The Human Clan's reserve forces are also gathering, but we haven't reached the point of a do-or-die effort yet. Let these soldiers and reserve troops who've just endured a fierce battle rest and recuperate."
Leo Ray clearly understood that whether it be the Wood Fairy soldiers with yet-to-be-restored prowess or the reserve forces of the Dwarf Elves and Humans, they all apparently won't have a decisive impact on the situation. Instead of hastily sending them to the front lines to occupy the fortresses, it's better to assess the timing and use them as a reserved force.
While Leo Ray and the others were analyzing the battle situation, the latest intelligence continued pouring in, updating the latest movements of the four armies.
According to information from scouts and Sky Knights, the marching routes of the opposing forces promptly manifested on the magic sand table.
In the north of the vast Giant Valley, the four armies moved rapidly towards the Giant Valley via the nearest pathways, not opting to cross the valley at the nearest point but instead converging towards the same area north of the valley.
Though that region is closer to the trolls' territory and far from the Dragonborn and Flower Fairies, the latter two move much quicker due to their winged backs, keeping pace with the trolls, whereas the Minotaurs lag somewhat.
"From the current situation, it seems they have no intention of crossing the Giant Valley."
Leo Ray's gaze roved the magical sand table and settled on the area the four armies were converging towards, pondering: "What do they intend to do?"
"Your Majesty of the Humans, that should be the location of the Fluorescent Stone River and Fluorescent Stone Waterfall!"
Broy pondered briefly before brightening and stating: "The Fluorescent Stone River flows down the northern side of the valley, forming the Fluorescent Stone Waterfall!"
Upon hearing this, Leo Ray looked at the magic sand table, observing a river and a waterfall connected to the valley at the core location, vividly represented, with flowing water depicted.
"Indeed, it's the Fluorescent Stone Waterfall. What purpose do they have for mobilizing there?"
Crisis furrowed her brows, her face full of confusion: "Supposedly, there's nothing there but water."
"Indeed, it is extremely perplexing."
Shuert's carved wooden face also showed a trace of skepticism: "This area is not lacking in water sources. Their actions indeed are baffling."
"Regardless, it seems their target is not our side."
Broy exhaled a sigh of relief: "That's the best news I've received tonight."
"Don't be complacent, Dwarf Elf Majesty."
Shuert thoughtfully stroked his wooden beard: "Their mobilization into the Fluorescent Stone Waterfall area is peculiar enough, and on the opposite side of the waterfall is our Waterfall Watch Fortress; we mustn't relax our vigilance."
Listening to Shuert's words, Leo Ray nodded thoughtfully.
Across the waterfall, two kilometers on the other side of the valley, our large fortress indeed stands, known as the Waterfall Watch Fortress.
Thinking of this, Leo Ray slightly nodded and said: "I agree with Elder Shuert's words; this is not the time to lower our guard."
"Your Majesty of the Humans, what should we do next?"
Crisis removed her starry gaze from the magic sand table, quickly asking Leo Ray.
"The situation is simple. Since we have confirmed the destination of the four armies, we should personally go and investigate."
Leo Ray replied without hesitation: "But before that, there's one more thing we need to do."
