she paused then continued "but that doesn't speak for the growth in character you may experience."

Hearing the beginning of Himora's sentence made Felix's face drop, but he put on a bright smile hearing the second portion. 

He spoke in return "Yes I can agreed with you on that as I have been working to better my character and personality."

He continued "I've been told about the negative side of my personality by my guardian here, but you have to understand that my standing as a young master of such a powerful organization has played a part in the way my personality has been developed." 

He went even further to explain on his own behalf to change the way she felt about him.

"My father is an extremely strict individual and is very prideful. On top of that he takes hierarchy beyond extreme and looks down on everything beneath him and his own children sometimes. This led to me having a similar personality as I have always wanted to be like my father and older brother even better."

"My guardian here always try to helps me develop in a better direction when it comes to my personality and it's been having an affect, so please bear with me young miss I can understand your feelings from our initial interaction."

Himora was extremely surprised to see how he went out of his way to paint a better picture of his self, and with her eyes she can tell he was actually being truthful, but she could also still see strings of negative emotions like lust and spite. 

She didn't want to bring any trouble to her family so she had already decided to let him down politely.

"I understand young master Felix, but I hope you're willing to be understanding of my choice. I want to focus on training and growing stronger, that being said I can't indulge in any kind of intimate relationship while in the pursuit of power, as it will only be a mental and emotional burden."

Felix rubbed his chin and looked as if he was contemplating something before saying "hmmm, that does make sense, well I guess we have no choice."

As he was speaking the room was already heating up, he had begun activating his technique.

His Empyrean Sun appeared swiftly like a ghost. The heat it produced was extreme but it wasn't nearly enough to harm Merceles who immediately understood what was going on and acted to protect Himora. 

As he was about to use his energy to shield his daughter, he noticed she was completely unbothered by the heat, actually with his extraordinary senses he could sense her body naturally absorbing the heat. 

He was astonished because the heat from this young master's sun was beginning to burn the majestic room they were in which was protected by advanced runes.

Merceles asked with a deep frown covering his face "What is the meaning of this?"

Felix replied while smiling devilishly "I said I was working on my character, but that doesn't mean I'm better already, I have to obtain what I want no matter the cost."

Before any more words could be spoken Adrian's body exploded into deep scarlet flames the color of blood and immediately merged with Felix's Empyrean Sun. 

Merceles knew what was about to happen and time seemed to slow, he looked over at the wide eyed Himora and said with a gentle smile "I love you baby girl, never forget the TrueHeart name."

Right after he finished his words the miniature crimson sun turned bloody red and expanded as quick as the speed of sound with enough ferocity to erase everything In its path, and that's what it did. 

It swallowed the entire estate and everyone in it. 

Adrian had already set up a special barrier around their entire estate, and it had a lot of special properties. 

The barrier boosted the power of the creator by 100%, it also isolated the inside from the outside and made gave the illusion that everything was still normal even if the inside experience devastation like now. 

It keeps anything and everything from exiting the barrier so no one could escape unless the creator died. He secretly activated the barrier the moment Himora entered the room.

With the help of the barrier the TrueHeart's family disappeared in the morning with no one noticing. 

When everything was burned to dust and scorched, there was only a giant pit 5 meters deep and the size of an entire estate.

Adrian and Felix was standing over the unconscious Himora, who was shackled by chains made of scarlet flames. 

Adrian was an energy handler, which granted him decent innate talent for controlling his energy, that was how he was able merge with the Empyrean Sun burning everything within the barrier except Felix and Himora. 

He couldn't comprehend the Empyrean Sun technique of their sect, so he instead cultivated a technique called the Scarlet Burial technique, hence the bloody flames.

Adrian spoke "Something seems off, and it's urking my soul, but I can't pinpoint what it is. Anyways let's leave immediately before the barrier fades."

When he finished speaking he grabbed the two youths and pulled out a scroll, when he unfurled it he inserted his mana and they all vanished.
