Enemies Are All Nourishment for My Fungi

Chapter 423 Chatting with the Commander (2)

"I see, the Wizards restore construction waste into materials, but their infrastructure capabilities are not strong. The land of the original big cities in their hands only turns into small cities. Their technological strength is also weak, so the technological items they acquired from demolishing the cities were not reused, perhaps they were even turned into raw materials together." The Commander analyzed while nodding.

"This Restore Spell sounds like it's pretty handy for demolition." One of the Commander's subordinates laughed.

"Indeed, the dilapidated buildings in the city could be dismantled this way too." Ye Nai nodded in agreement.

"Eh? Do you know how?"

Ye Nai shook her head, "My talent doesn't lie in alchemy, but I can demonstrate the Restore Spell. Want to see it?"

"Sure, sure." Everyone eagerly awaited.

Ye Nai took out a bag of white flatbreads she purchased while shopping yesterday from the space.

She took one out, placed it on a paper plate, and after a lengthy incantation of the Restore Spell, everyone witnessed the fluffy and delicious white flatbread magically restored into flour, yeast, and sugar. The amount of flour was relatively more, while the yeast and sugar were pitifully little, just a tiny bit, as the proportions of yeast and sugar in one white flatbread are very small to begin with.

"Oh my god, it's really turned into raw materials!" Everyone was stunned and leaned over the table, carefully inspecting, not even daring to breathe too heavily for fear of ruining this magical sight.

"Truly restored thoroughly, flour, yeast, and sugar." Someone exclaimed.

"If this is all there is, how much cement and sand could a dilapidated building be restored into?" Someone questioned.

"I can't calculate that, I won't bother." Someone else gave up thinking.

"With such a useful Restore Spell, post-war reconstruction would be a breeze." Someone excitedly expressed.

"We should inform the Staff Department, so when they receive prisoners, they can sort out the ones from the alchemy system among the wizards." Ye Nai immediately reminded.

"Do you have many Wizard prisoners?" The Commander asked.

"A lot. Whenever we see one, we capture them, otherwise, Wizards are really good at causing trouble, blending into the crowd in plain clothes, they're practically impossible to guard against." Ye Nai answered seriously.

"How many?" The Commander pursued further.

"I don't know exactly, but the total number of prisoners is less than twenty thousand." Ye Nai shrugged.

"Wow!" Everyone was once again amazed; clearly, this number exceeded their expectations.

"No wonder when I walked into that warehouse, I saw a lot of prefabricated house materials that hadn't been moved yet. I was wondering if a lot of people needed to live in the Secret Realm? Turns out it was for the prisoners?" Someone suddenly realized.

"Yes, got to build a Prisoner Camp." Ye Nai nodded.

"But having captured so many wizards, how do you manage them? Aren't you afraid they'll cause trouble?" Someone voiced their concern.

"No worries, just place bindings, and they'll turn into ordinary people." Ye Nai said casually.

"Huh?" Everyone showed surprised expressions.

"If you can place bindings on wizards, then you can do it to us Awakeners too?" A subordinate next to the Commander reacted extremely quickly.

"Yes." Ye Nai flashed a big smile, "Want to try it?"

The person immediately straightened their back and shook their head repeatedly with small motions.

"No, no, I'll just take a look at those Wizard prisoners."

"Don't be scared, it's just turning them back into ordinary people, with no abilities at all, not even able to use alchemy items on them." Ye Nai explained with a smile, with a hint of coaxing.

"What kind of alchemy items are there? Defensive?" Someone curiously asked, also steering the topic away.

"There are defensive ones, and there are storage tools, most commonly made into rings. Wizards use their wizard power as the key to activate them, while ordinary people use blood as a medium, and there are non-medium storage items, with a large capacity, used for transferring bulk materials, which anyone can use once they get them."

Just after Ye Nai introduced them with a grin, she saw everyone looking at her with bright, expectant, and curious eyes.

"Do you have any actual samples of this non-medium storage ring?" The Commander acted as the spokesperson for everyone.

"Yes, but it conflicts with the space storage superpower of mine, so I left it elsewhere. Do you want to come with me to see it? Otherwise, it'll take me two minutes to get it from here, but it will take two hours to go over there and back." Ye Nai said.

Everyone exchanged glances, then collectively looked towards the Commander.

The Commander, at this moment, also restrained his curiosity, as such a rare opportunity to broaden one's horizons, he didn't want to miss easily.

"Then let's go with you to fetch it, and then come back to see?" The Commander suggested.

"Alright, let's go." Ye Nai readily agreed.

Then, she opened a Transmission Port, and everyone stepped through. After settling down, they were surprised to find themselves standing next to a lush farmland.

"What's this? Pasture?" Someone asked in confusion, reaching out to touch a plant on the edge.

"So fragrant, there's a strange aroma." Another person took a deep breath, feeling the unique scent in the air.

"No? Can you farm in the Secret Realm?" More people looked shocked.

"If you can grow pasture, can't you grow other things?" They began to boldly speculate, eyes glinting with excited light.

The security team members around Ye Nai were newly dispatched. Although they experienced cross-realm teleportation last time, they hadn't seen the farmland. The Commander and his subordinates were also seeing it for the first time, and were all amazed by this scene that defied common sense.

Just when they were all seeking out Ye Nai, they saw she had already bent over and burrowed into the pasture field.

They decided not to follow her in, afraid they might damage the lush pasture. While waiting patiently, they began to study the pasture with interest.

As they walked around, someone inadvertently bypassed the pasture field and discovered, in the distance, a large number of moving prisoners.

"Oh my, so many prisoners?!" The person exclaimed with wide eyes, full of disbelief.

"Tattoos, they are Wizards?" The companion who came along carefully observed and quickly made a judgment.

"Wow, how bold, so many Wizard prisoners held together, and they haven't revolted?" Someone marveled, utterly surprised by what they saw.

"Bindings? So this is what bindings are?" Everyone realized the key point.

"Truly amazing~"

They whispered in admiration, watching the prisoners from afar. The prisoners saw them too, but neither side greeted the other, silently observing each other across this distance.

Meanwhile, Ye Nai busily fumbled through things in the pasture field.

The public storage rings originally obtained from the Prince of the Selsa United Kingdom were not compatible with the space, so they were carried around. Later, they became an annoyance, so they were buried in the pasture field.

These storage rings, wrapped layer by layer in fungal blankets, were buried deep in the soil, so aside from paying attention when plowing in the future, there was no fear of them being dug up by people or animals.
